Aether's Flame

             '' Come on sister!'' the older alicorn said as she ran through the fields '' Your going to be late!''

              Behind the white filly another ran just behind her. She was pure white, just like her sister except she was smaller and had shorter mane.With an '' Oof!'' she fell over and into the soft grass. '' Ow!'' the young filly said as she struggled to get up " sister you know that I can't run as fast as you.''

              The older filly stuck her tongue out teasingly '' Well maybe if you practiced more this would not happen''

              '' Hey!'' the younger shouted lunging forward her horn sparking the smallest amount of magic. Of course she would not actually hurt her sister just shock her with her magic, but before she could even try to do that a purple and pink starry hoof stepped in front of her preventing her to do so. the younger immediately stopped and stared at the annoyed face of her mother, Queen Solaria the monarch of the day.

           '' Now now we know that it is rude to hurt one another" the queen chided as she stared at the young filly with a disappointed look on her face.'' Besides today you will find out if you control the sun or the moon.''

          The younger filly gasped in excitement and looked over at her sister who had the same look of excitement in her eyes. She couldn't believe that she might be the next ruler of the sun! She imagined herself sitting on a throne next to her mother looking over her subjects as her dusk colored mane flowed in the wind, Yes she would be the goddess of the sun.

      '' Now come girls the test will begin soon'' A voice cut through the young filly's thoughts as she realized her mother and sister were way ahead.

      '' Hey wait up!'' The younger said running as fast as she could.
