//-------------------------------------------------------// Pretty Rave Mares -by Glitter- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Spring Break //-------------------------------------------------------// Spring Break Pretty Rave Mares Chapter 1 "I am so glad I don't have to see my flank-hole history teacher for a whole week!" Jade sighed, relieved. Zo and Gami both nodded, but TayTay was listening to her music on her iPhone. Jade was a white preteen mare, with blue eyes and light mint hair. Her flank bared a cutiemark of a jadestone. Her talent was finding birthstones, or (rarely) gemstones in general. Zo was also a preteen mare with a silver coat, golden hair and neon red eyes. Her cutiemark was a cube of ice with a small flame coming off of it, meaning she was the most laid back, calm, but if you provoke her, she'll kick your flank into next week! Gami was also a preteen, and she had a light raspberry coat, with a black mane, her eye color being a bright green. Her cutiemark was a computer, meaning she was the biggest gamer of all her sisters. And TayTay, Zo's twin, was also white coated, with a neon lime mane, and purple eyes. Her cutiemark was an iPhone, meaning she was the most with technology. "I know whatcha mean," Zo began. "My math teacher is a pain in all of my friends' and my flank, too." She finished. TayTay pulled an earbud out of her ear with a forehoof, and looked at her sisters. "Sorry, I was listening to dotA..." She sighed. Gami chuckled a bit, and so did Jade. Zo just sat on the beach chair, and gave TayTay a strange look. "For real? Honestly Tay..." Zo sighed. They were all sitting on the pool deck, two ponies per chair. Jade and Gami shared a chair, and Zo and TayTay shared one. "What? It's an awesome song!" TayTay laughed. Jade fiddled around with TayTay's drawing journal, and checked out her pictures she's drawn. "Damn!" Jade exclaimed softly, and turned the pages slowly. "Tay, you draw better than I do!" She laughed. TayTay looked over at Jade, and laughed. "I do not!" She replied modestly. Jade shot her an "are-you-serious?" look, and gave the notebook back. "Well, I mostly draw animal chibis anyway!" She added. "I mostly draw anime..." Jade sighed. Suddenly, their mother called them inside. Their mother's name was Kara, and her talent was potions. She was an earth mare, but she was always studying alchemy. "C'mon girls!" Kara called the sisters. They all got up, and trotted up the slanted slope to the house. When they got inside, they saw their father, Bud, getting ready for work at the bar. The four girls stood at the side of the doorway, and their father approached. "I'm going to work, girls. I'll be back late, so don't let it scare you. I know how you are, Jade..." He laughed. Jade laughed as well, along with her sisters. They all bid their father farewell and they proceeded into their rooms. TayTay and Jade shared a room, and Gami and Zo shared a room. Even though Zo and TayTay are twins, they chose not to share a room together. "I want to get a good night's sleep..." TayTay sighed, plopping down onto her bunk. She had the bottom, and Jade had the top. "I may stay up to read my book." Jade laughed. TayTay rolled her eyes. "You're such a bookworm!" She teased. Jade rolled her eyes, and laid down to read. Just as they were almost asleep, their brother, Devlin was arguing with Zo. Being the two oldest (Zo's older than TayTay by ten minutes), Devlin and Zo almost always got into a fight. Devlin had a light blue coat, and a black mane, with yellow eyes. His talent was skateboarding, given the symbol of a skateboard. TayTay and Jade could hear the two rambling on about Celestia knows what from outside their door. "YOU'RE SUCH A FLANK-HOLE!" Zo screamed at Devlin. He scowled at her. "YOU TOO RACHET MARE NUMBER ONE!" He replied coldly. Instead of the mares' nickname around school, "Pretty Rave Mares", Devlin referred to them as "Pretty Rachet Mares". Zo growled, and pushed him into his room, and blocked the door. "Too bad you can't get out!" She laughed teasingly. Devlin kept trying to buck the door down, but failed. Soon enough, Kara got to them, and they got a strict lecture. TayTay and Jade didn't even pay attention to the television, and that was a rare occasion for TayTay. "Wow...just wow..." TayTay sighed, as the two listened to Kara giving the two siblings a lecture on how cursing around the house in unpermitted...but Bud does it all the time! Jade nodded, and pitied. "Yeah, mom is really down to the core when they bicker..." Jade sighed. TayTay nodded, and they proceeded doing as they did before. As they laid there, they only hoped that Spring Break would be all it is anticipated. The next morning, was just as any normal morning in the Lighter household. Zo and Devlin were at it again, and Gami and TayTay were playing Merio Carts on their GS'. Jade, feeling like the only normal sister, was just watching the whole circus in front of her as she ate breakfast. "This is much better than cartoons...but still not a good as PewdieCry fanfictions." Jade said to herself. Gami and TayTay were neck and neck at a race. "Quit cheating!" Gami exclaimed to TayTay. "Quit winning!" She replied roughly. Devlin and Zo kept bickering about how Devlin always leaves his dirty clothes in the bathroom. "I'm surprised mom and dad can sleep through this..." Jade commented as she carried her bowl to the sink. At that moment, TayTay and Gami finished the race, Gami coming out top mare. As they shut their GS' off, TayTay shot Jade a strange look. "Mom and dad can sleep through a freakin' hurricane!" She told her. Jade nodded, as if to say "Good point,". The three girls were startled when they heard a crash come from the living room. "You dumb-flank! Look whatcha did! Mom is gonna kill you!" Zo exclaimed to Devlin. "Me?!" He started. "You're the one who broke it! Numb-booger!" He insulted Zo. "Whatever! Just help me pick it up before mom wakes up!" Zo exclaimed softly. Devlin rolled his eyes, and helped her pick up the broken pieces of a candle holder. Kara made special candles to ward off demons in the house. Whenever a candle such as burns, sure enough, in a separate room, incense is burning. They quickly found a remake spell in a spell-book Kara kept. "Jade!" Zo called. "You're the half-psychic of us, FIX THIS!" Zo exclaimed, paranoid Kara was going to wake up. "But mom never lets me tamper with spells!" Jade explained. "Well, ya done goofed! We're just going to hafta tell mom what happened!" Devlin sighed. Jade rolled her eyes, and grabbed up everyone's saddlebags with her mouth. "C'mon guys, the mall arcade won't play itself! And the bus cart there won't pick us up if we don't go, like, now!" Jade said, and her siblings followed her out, and to the end of Autumn Lane. //-------------------------------------------------------// Arcade Catastrophe //-------------------------------------------------------// Arcade Catastrophe Pretty Rave Mares Chapter 2           When the siblings all got to the Ponyville arcade, Devlin quickly started to play a racing game. Gami and TayTay were going to play against each other, like usual. And Zo just planned to play the basketball toss game. Jade enjoyed playing various arcade games, but her sisters and brother only liked specific ones.           Jade trotted over to the toss-at-the-screen game. "Oh well," she sighed, and got a ball with her right forehoof. When she was told what her target was, she started throwing balls at them. But then she heard a scream.           "What the hell was that?" Zo asked, slightly startled and alarmed.           "How the buck should I know? Jade's the one who was born with psychic abilities!" Devlin snapped at his sister.           "Maybe we should..." TayTay paused to gulp. "Check it out..." she finished, sounding shook up.           "Well, go on!" Gami pressed, giving Jade a little push. Jade turned her head to her, and scowled. Then, she trotted to where the scream came from, and opened the door.           "Is anypony here?" She asked. There was dead silence, except for her and her four other siblings breathing. "Hello?" She asked again. Silence.           "Let's go. I don't wanna be here anymore!" Devlin suggested. Jade nodded, and closed the door. As they approached the arcade doors, Devlin took a hoof, and started to push the door. It didn't open.           "What the?!" He exclaimed, shocked and frightened. Gami, TayTay, and Zo all started praying that the doors would open, and that they could leave. Devlin pushed the door again, and it still didn't open.           "Dammit!" He discouraged. "We're locked in..." He added lamely. Gami's coat furs started to stand up, as a cold breeze blew through the arcade. Then suddenly, all of the neon bright lights burst, and shut off.           "What do we do now? Wait for mom to come and pick us up?" Zo rhetorically asked. Gami turned to TayTay, and Jade did as well.           "Check your phone, and call mom!" Gami told TayTay. She nodded, and pulled her iPhone out. She started to dial Kara, but she didn't answer.           "No answer..." TayTay sighed.           "Try dad then..." Devlin suggested. TayTay nodded, and dialed Bud. His boss, Shot answered.           "Hello?" He greeted.           "Shot? Where's dad? This is his daughter TayTay." She panicked a bit.           "Your dad accidentally left his phone at the bar. What's wrong, did something happen?"           "We got locked in the damn arcade!" Devlin shouted in the background.           "Devlin? What the-who else is with you, Tay?" Shot asked, concerned.           "Zo, Gami and Jade...we were playing arcade games when we heard a scream come from the employee break room, and now all the lights are out, and the doors are jammed or something!" TayTay explained.           "I'll be there to pick you five up in a few minutes, hang tight, kiddos." Shot finished, and hung up.           "That went well..." Zo sighed.           Just then, Jade had heard something, and turned to look and see. She started to back up, and her flank pressed against the doors as she pointed at what she saw. "Look..." She simply stated. All four of the siblings turned to see a figure of a pony, her mane halfway torn out of her head, her eyes mostly black, with red rims, and a demonic smile, with all teeth looking like fangs. They all panicked as they kept backing up. Eventually, the doors bust open and they galloped outside of the mall.           "What the buck was that ugly thing?!" Gami asked.           "A demon, that's what. Only such entities can cause things to burst spontaneously." Jade answered emotionless. Just then, Shot pulled up with his cart.           "What the buck? I thought you kids were stuck in the arcade." He asked.           "A demon scared us out." Jade replied. Shot's eyebrows raised, as if to say "really?".           "Can we just leave, I was scared crapless back in there!" Devlin pleaded. Shot nodded, and he drove them back home in his cart.
