Father was too busy to play today. Mother was left to an island a few days ago and the guards never wanted to play. Did they even know what "play" means? Oh well I guess, I'll just play queen again. I liked to act like my mother, everypony listened to her and I think most ponies were scared of her. I would be to, but I never saw her mad so I assume that's good. After I was done thinking of mother, I put on my paper crown, my queen dress which was just a sheet, and my plastic fake shoes. In my eyes, I looked just like my mother: a beautiful light pink mane and tail, stunning wings and horn, and amazing purple eyes. I gathered my stuffed toys and placed them all over my room. Soon after I trotted and gave orders to them one by one. They protected me from the monster in my closet and they had a war against the nightmares I've had. It was fun...till I got bored.
I cleaned and left my room to see if father wanted to play. He was still busy. "I'm sorry Celestia, but I must get this work done before your mother arrives. I promise, as soon as I'm done we'll play." He said to me in a deep and heartwarming voice. I smiled and asked if I could play outside in the court yard. Father said I could so I left. I galloped down the halls and tried to use my magic to open the big blue doors. I thought I opened them, but a near by guard helped me. I galloped out the doors and into the court yard. My outside toys were laying in the dirt waiting for me to play with them. I had a sun, moon, and star. Every day I tried to lift them with my magic, getting a little higher day by day. The star I can lift really high, the moon...a little, the sun.....almost. The sun is really heavy even for a toy, but mother says one day I'll lift it and gain my cutie mark.
I don't have my cutie mark yet, but I'll get it one day. When I do get, oh wow, my parents will celebrate it like it's my birthday. I don't think it's a big deal yet, but my mother is always pushing me to try everything and anything. Honestly, I like the sun a lot. I want to be like the sun, shine over everything and bring happiness to ponies who see it. Like my mother. I want to be like my mother: beautiful, strong, and in charge. She's the reason I practice my magic so much, I want to impress her. I'm positive the star will amaze her, but the star and the moon will be stunning. She'll look at me and say, "Celestia, you are such a special and talented young mare." Then she'll teach me how to make my magic grow even stronger and stronger till I can raise the sun. Just thinking about it give me butterflies.
I wanted to take a walk to the hill to see the sunset, so I asked father. He said I could as long as I get back before it gets too dark. I hugged him and left to the hill. Once outside the castle gates, I used my wings to hover above the ground. My hooves aced so I had a good reason to use my wings. It was a nice sunny day, just a little bit of white orange clouds. The weather ponies really do their job well. They make it look so easy as they push the small clouds. I was about half way up the hill when I saw something move in the trees to my right. It looked small from what I saw, but it went away. I stayed looking that direction for a few minutes before going up hill. I decided to trot the rest of the way and give my wings a break. It was nice, I sat on the old bench looking at the sun as it made it's way down.
"Beautiful." I said to myself as it went away. It was beautiful, but it was sad seeing it go away. As I trotted, the weather ponies were making rain clouds and soon a drop hit my nose. It started off slow till it got darker and then it became a little stronger. I galloped my way down the hill, but slipped and rolled into the trees. My rolling stopped as soon as I hit a tree, but my right leg hurt. It had a cut on it and was bleeding. It wasn't bad, but it really, really hurt. I got up and trotted slowly away from the tree, but then I heard crying. I stopped and listened to see if it wasn't just my imagination. A sob? A cry for help? A cry for love?
"Mom...mom...wh...where are you? Mom...pl...please come and...and save me!" The pony cried. I looked for the pony and found her laying against a tree crying for her mother. She had a light blue mane and tail color. Her fur seemed to be a dark blue. Her eyes were a beautiful blue and she had...a crown and a cutie mark on her. I moved in closer, when she saw me she stopped crying and galloped towards me.
"I don't know where my mom is. C..can you help me find her?" She asked me. I looked at her and smiled. "I...I'll help you find your mother little one. Let us get out of the rain and go to my castle okay." I told her. She looked at me and with a huge smile, her wings popped out. I didn't think much, but I looked at her a little better and noticed she also had a horn. An alicorn here? I was scared to bring her home. What if she was from an other kingdom and that kingdom thought I kidnapped her? I don't care, she and I need to get out of this rain, so I took her home.
