Deus Ex Machina, The God of Chance
"And thus, you see my argument, Machina." Faust had just finished explaining why sending humans to her universe would be a terrible idea, I disagreed with the majority of her factors, such as 'it would corrupt my innocent ponies' or 'the universe isn't stable enough yet to crossend people.' the only one I did agree with was that her planet is too small for the turmoil it would cause.
I sent my mindlink out across the worlds, it seemed like my niece, Fortune had decided to participate in that blasted Chess Game, how they managed to convince Faust remains a mystery even to me, the positives must outweigh the negatives by a threshold.
"Faust, do you remember what you did all those years ago?" my voice practically boomed with force but alas, she stood her ground.
"You're still going on about that, Machina? I know I shouldn't have tampered with Chance, but it had to be done, The Two is needed on the planet for it to survive, now more than ever." I sighed and rubbed my temples.
"Faust, you tampered with something you had no right to even know exist didn't The Elder Gods tell you when you ascended? Chance, Luck and all things Random is my territory, I am Deus Ex Machina, and I control what I want to control, the difference between you and me Faust, is that I have no restrictions." It's true, The Elder Gods said these exact words As long as you stay within your territory, there's no restrictions. I was personally thankful for that, yet Faust kept interfering with my plans about sending Humans to her universe, it's growing too... ordered.
"I... I know that, Machina, but it still doesn't change the fact that my universe simply wouldn't survive it." that's it, isn't it? Her universe can't survive it... Hmm... What about...
"So Faust, you're telling me I would be able to send my descendants to your world, if it would be guaranteed to survive?" She slowly nodded and I grinned.
"Then it's settled, I'll be sending Chris there first, you know how I am; Take the worst first, then ease it up." I went back to my neutral face and she shook her head.
"There's no way i'm getting out of this, is there?"
"I quote one of your ponies, Eeeenope." Heh, I can't even remember what he's called.
I scratched me chin before slamming my feet into the ground, the world fell around us and she vanished, within a second I was back on Earth, more specifically, in a church devoted to me.
Ted, I bring you a mission.
It took him less than a second for him to find me, and he was kneeling when he did.
Rise, my most loyal servant, I bring you a mission of utmost importance.
"Whatever you wish, whatever you say, M'lord." I would have winced, but I kept a neutral face.
I'm going to say this once, go to The Basement, open The Third Chest, spread the contents around the cult, and have them follow wherein the items tell them, and only give the items away when someone asks for it, normal humans won't be able to see them.
"As you wish, it shall be done." I would have smiled, yet I simply nodded.
Good Ted, you do me proud.
He practically beamed before disappearing.
I know he'll get the job done, the first order off business is Chris, I don't know what he'll choose, I don't know if he'll go and become the most evil person in existence, or the one who saves the world, he could be both.
Then, there was Ted, not the leader of my cult but a very distant descendant and relative of mine, well he would be if I hadn't disappeared all those years ago, but alas.
Another man, this one keeping his name a secret, but I know... I always know, he will start the turmoil across the Multiverse, he's my favorite, I believe.
There are so many, too many to write down on this single piece of paper, but if you find this, I will haunt you, I may not be able to directly interfere, but a falling tree placed right is all I need.
Sometimes, I wounder... Is there someone out there right now? Writing down what i'm doing outside of my sheet of paper? Nah, that'dd be ridicules.
Then, there was that one part of the Multiverse where even I feared to tread, it's chaotic and ordered at the same time, but it's not the human's world, no, it's Drackung, it's from where Discord came, me and Discord... We've been on shaky footing for a long, long time, he keeps going on and on about how I should join him in, quote on quote delightful chaos! I personally do not agree with him, Chance orders all, wait I just heard something... It seems like someone said "What's the worst thing that could happen?" Well, time to go to work.
I can feel it, it's starting... I send a wavelength out to them, some may hear me, some may not.
"I'm sorry, and Good Luck."
I spare a glance into Equestria, how peaceful the ponies seem to be, Celestia... Luna... Why did you change your names? Chance had granted them... You should be proud.
For now...
The rest will come as they want, for now, I feel tired, I should rest... Yeah, rest sounds good.
The last thing I see before falling asleep is The Celestial Sisters, they're pretty young in direct to how they was when I became a god, time moves differently here.
Good night, my children, for tomorrow is a new day.
My vision flickered to Barbara, and I felt pity for the ponies.
