//-------------------------------------------------------// When no one hears -by Solar Pony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// When no one hears //-------------------------------------------------------// When no one hears "Hello!? Is anypony out there?" Scootaloo yelled in the darkness. She looked up at the hole of light, twenty meters above her. She had gone exploring hoping to earn herself a Exploring cutie-mark. Sweetiebelle had homework and Applebloom had chores so she was left to explore by herself. Now here she was, at the very bottom of Ponyville's abandoned well. All it took was one slip. The walls were grimy and wet. There was certainly no chance of climbing out. The floor had a thick layer of mos which is what broke her fall but that didn't stop her from her head hitting the side of the wall on the way down. Her head spined as a headache pounded at the bleeding head wound. She tried to get to her hoofs and immediately fell over from her head still spinning. She decided to try calling for help again. "Hello!? I need help! I'm trapped!" she called for help a few more times but then gave up as the throbbing in her head became unbearable. She contemplated the best action. she decided to it would be best rest until her head stopped hurting.  She moved herself into a more comfortable position and and laid her head on the cold floor. Sleep. That was what she needed. Sleep.. sleep... sleep. The day was beautiful from how  high she was. The sun was shining brightly over Ponyville and everyone was outside and mostly happy. Scootaloo looked down and took in all she saw. Pinkie Pie was happily bouncing along the street making a delivery for the cakes. When she looked up at saw Scootaloo she gazed in awe and waved which scoots happily returned. Twilight and Spike were hauling a huge amount of books into the library. They had just got a large shipment of rentable books that all needed to be shelved alphabetically. Luckily Spike was more than up to the task. That was why he was Twilights number one assistant. They both stopped as Scootaloo flew passed them and gave her a quick wave. She once again returned the wave and looked on. She was free, Truly free. She looked on as clouds whizzed past her. Then something came up beside her....  Something cyan with a rainbow mane. Rainbow dashes easily recognizable voice said "Hey squirt. Try to keep up, If you can!" she said teasingly and then sped ahead. Oh she could. Her wings sped up as she came closer to the rainbow tail in front of her. She could be just like rainbow dash. She was like rainbow dash! She was...... waking up. Scootaloo's eyes shot open as she gathered her surroundings: A damp floor, hard stone walls and darkness. The well. The dream had come to her again. Whenever she was feeling alone she always had this dream to taunt her. She loved the dream and hated it at the same time. It was something that could be.... Or it was something that could be if she could to fly. It depended on how you look at it. She looked at her small wings, just barely visible in the dark. "This is all your fault" she said to herself "I could fly I wouldn't even be here!" Her head was no longer bleeding and the pain had numbed. She slowly got to her hoofs and looked up. The sky was darkening as far as she could tell meaning the sun was beginning to set. "Oh know!" She said beginning to panic "I don't wanna be in he all night!" She opened her wings. It was her last chance. She began to flap her small un-grown wings. One beat. Two beats. Three beat. She flapped as fast as she could and slowly gained altitude, her hoofs slowly lifting off the ground. Then the pain set in. Her wings were getting tired and the lack of grown muscle in them left Scootaloo to plummet to the the ground. Her head began to throb again. Scootaloo sat down in the cold mos, and cried. A few hours had passed in which she spent: crying, screaming for help and desperately trying to fly. none of which helped. Her voice was sore from the screaming and her eyes were red from crying. She was mentally and physically exhausted... Then she just barely heard something coming from the above in the world. "Hay Rarity. Hows it hangin'?" Said the unmistakable voice of Rainbow dash. "Why hello ,darling. I'm doing all right, What about you?" Scootaloo opened her mouth to call for help but her voice was too sore. "H-help me..." she said but it barely came out as a whisper. "I'm all right. Say, you haven't seen Scootaloo have you? The crusaders can't find her." Said the distant voice of Rainbow dash, Completely unaware of the dying filly in the near her. "Why I can't say I have ,darling. But I'll let you know if I see her" said Rarity. Scootaloo tried again "Help me...." but still nothing. "Thanks Rarity. I better dash and keep looking. Be seein' ya" Then there was the sound of her rushing away. Maybe I should have a cutie-mark for not being heard Scootaloo thought to herself. One more tear fell from Scootaloo's eye before collapsing in mental pain. Now she new she was nothing for certain. She accepted her fate to the Darkness, and slept hoping never to wake again. Voices in her head started saying things like: Freedom Is so close.... If only you could fly! You'er the worst pegasus I've ever seen! No Cutie-mark and can't fly? Your pathetic. If There was a list of the worst ways to die This would be number one. Scootaloo's mind shut itself down. Entire body was in pain, not to mention the the freezing cold walls causing her to shiver. It wouldn't be long now... She could rest..... She said to herself "So.... nearly..... free...."
