Magic of Friendship/Act I: Fall of Harmony
Seems like a millenium or more since the end of the Old Age of Equine. Referred to as the Golden Age, I think most ponies didn't know the real story. This time was known because everypony bore Harmony and were the finest breed of alicorn in Equine history. At least, that was anypony I knew in the older Equestria, which was known as the Badlands of the now everyday Equestria. We as alicorns treated anypony with no horn and wings combination to be considered a filthy disgrace and hoofed them out of the kingdom paradise. They spread out and lived as the earth, unicorn, and pegasi races in poverty and in war. Harmony never resonated in them, but it seemed that the six elements had connections with alicorns. The trials of earning the full six elements were difficult for young stallions and mares alike in their coming of age. Gods involved with our emotions and life such as Fate, Love, and Truth were the beings that were believed to inhabit us and made us do what we do. Our Creator was originally thought to have been our first ever king of Equines and made alicorns in his likeness. Many scholars speculate whether the first king was indeed of good intentions or that of an evil deity who made us to conquer the world. His brother, Harmony, bestowed his power unto us and the Creator made every single living creature on our planet. The Creator made the dark expanse known as the universe, but apparently refused to bring light to his life-supporting planet because he was angry at us. Harmony overthrew him and made everything right by providing light and plentiful additions to this unfinished world. The responsibilities were passed down to alicorns for our lives and the planet, and eventually led to anypony. The Creator promised to return but since nopony knows his name, then only one thing is certain, and that's the power of Harmony in each and every alicorn. In my point of view, I was the only alicorn who was the outcast while everypony else was perfect, but my story was about to take a turn towards the impossible. I dedicate my account of the past to the brave mares and stallions that lost their lives to save what we were all about to lose.
