Light Runner

And here I am. Everything done wrong, screw up everything in my life and to my bad luck, I wake up next to Pinkie Pie ... IN HER BED!

I try to snuggle myself out of her - surprising tight - grip from me. After a feeled hour - it was only 3 minutes - I got myself free from the pink party pony. I slide out of her bed, trying to remember what happened after I fallen to the ground. But everything from there is blank, black, nothing. The sun starts rising in the horizon, blending me in surprise. Then I hear movement. For Starswirls sake ...

"Goooood mooorning Light!" A second later I'm locked into a tight hug. "P-Pinkie ..."

"Woops, sorry!" She let go from me. I shake myself, before looking to her always happy grin. "So ... why am I here?"

"Oh, found you drunk and uncouncious outside!" I look surprise. "And then you just put me in your bed, nothing more, uhm, right?"

"Yep, you sleeped like a little colt!" She giggles while I sigh in relieve. The last I need is sex with another mare ...

"Well, uhm, thank you for letting me stay. But I really need to-" BOOM! And my face is covered with confetti and little colored stripes. I try shaking the party cannons load of my face, but it sticks on it. "SURPRIIIISE! I knowwhat happened and toughtyou could need a cheer up party!"

"Cheer up party? Wait, you know-"

"Everypony knows. Dude, you almost bucked one of my best friends, that also is a famous element of harmony, while beeing together with another mare! That's nothing that stays hidden, the newspaper is full with photos!" My eyes widen. "WHAT?! But we didn't even had sex! And we were drunk! I might had feelings for her when I was young but not now!"

"You had feelings for her?" I look to her serious. "I saw her back when we were young in Manehattan. I lived there before. But never saw her after that, until I recently realized, that said filly is Applejack."

"Wow, your a player. First AJ, then Sky, then Star, now-"

"Stop it! I need to talk to Star and AJ!" And with that I run out of the room ... only for a bucket with ice cold water falling on my head. I wince in surprise, falling on my back. "PINKIIIIIE!"

I turn around to face her, standing up and shivering from the cold water, while she falls on her back, giggling hard. "Good one, Gummy! Hahahaha!"

"Urgh, confetti on my face, water over my head ... what next?" Like on command I feel something wiggling in my mane. I grab the beeing to see the alligator Gummy. I roll my eyes, putting him down and run ot of the door.

Out of Sugarcube Corner, I directly start looking for Star. Everypony watches me, even more disgusted then before. Note to me: Never NEVER drink anything with alcohol ever again ...

I sigh, looking for her, when I finally meet her. She looks down, eyes red, having a cyan blue wing around her back, that comes from Rising. "Star!"

Her eyes widen for a second, before she looks away from me. Rising looks to me however, with an expression, that tells me all to clear, what he would do to me right now. "What do you want, horseapple?"

Horseapple ... urgh.

"I want to talk to her, Rising. I did a mistake, yes, but I was-"

"Shut up! Drunk or not, that wasn't right! You broke her heart! Come on Star, let's get ready ..." Star, still looking away nods, before they both start walking again. I try to follow, but fall on my face, when somepony stomps on my tail. "Ouch, hey! Applejack?"

Looking behind me stands the orange farm mare Applejack. To my surprise however, she doesn't look really mad. "Hey, sugarcube ..."

"H-Hey, AJ ..." I stand up, looking to her apologizing. "AJ, I'm sorry, I-"

She puts her hoof on my muzzle. "We need to talk. In private."

I only nod, following her to her farm. When we reach the barn, she turns around and sighs. "I shouldn't had done that. I should know by now, where ma limits are, but still drank too much ... It's all my fault ..."

"No, it's mine. We both were drunk, yes, but I was the one who almost accept the *offer*. And I kinda have still feelings for you, since Manehattan so many years ago ... I saw you walking around, must been before you got your cutie mark. Even tough we never talked back then, I recently realized that it must be you, so my old feelings came up all of the sudden. And then yesterday, you offering me, beeing drunk, with my old feelings ... I screw up everything. I'm the biggest idiot in pony history ..."

"Hey, nothin' happened. We both are fault for this. We both made mistakes." I glare at her. "But you have to live with that for a while, I broke somepony's heart, somepony who's allready fragile! Just think about what she would do, if Rising wouldn't be here!"

To make her realize what I mean, I then slowly slide my hoof over my neck. She winces. "Mayby she is listening, when we both try together? We can try ..."

"Alright, I will come with ya to talk to her. I hope she gives ya another chance. And we both might try to avoid each other as often possible for the best." I blink. "Were working on the same place."

"Oh, right." I chuckle sadly. "What irony ... alright, let's go."

She nods and we both walk back to town. As we reach Ponyville, everypony is staring at me again. I got it already, I'm worser then a changeling!

"Sugarcube, look." AJ points too two ponies, walking straight to the train station with several travel bags ... Rising and Star?!

"Star!" We both run to them, before a blast hits me in the face, crashing me against one of Ponyville's house walls. I groan in pain, as a plant pot falls on my head, almost knocking me uncouncious. AJ helps me about. I shake my head, looking at the other two. Rising glares at me, but for what is shocking to me is Star. She glares to me with all hate, her horn glowing. "Get out of my live! I never want to see you again!"

I gulp, my body is shaking. "S-Star, please, listen ..."

"It's you or me, Light! Leave or I leave!" AJ walks to her. "Hey, listen Star. We were drunk and he had feelings for me in the past-"

"AJ, no, don't-"

"What?! You cheated on me the whole time too?! You lusty perverted flankhole!" She shoots again at me that barely missed me. Before I could even say something again, she teleports away with Rising. "Star! Wait!"

I stand up, running to the train station. When I reach the station, the train just started moving. "Wait!"

Of course the train doesn't stop. "No ... please just listen ... please .... Star ..."

What have I done ...

"Such a disgusting pony you are." A stallion looks at me, shaking his head. "Such scum like you should be in a dungeon, not-argh!"

"SHUT UP!" I slam him to the ground, pressing my hooves on his neck, choking him. "Shutupshutupshutup!"

Suddenly somepony pulls me away. "What in tarnation ya think ya doing?!"

"Leave me alone, all of you!" BOOM!

"What was that?!" I look up to the location of the explosion, seeing fire in the distance ... THE TRAIN!

"Oh no! Rising! Star!" I instinctly start running fast on the railway track, followed by Applejack. Short after we reach the wrecked train. The front wagoon is burning, giving me a bad feeling, while the rest of the train is fine, except for laying around the railway track. "Let's check the wagoons to see if everypony inside is fine!"

She nods and we both start looking trough every wagoon. Some ponies got lucky, just shocked and stunned, others where pretty hurted and in danger. One of those where Rising, but he is uncouncious right now. No sign of her ...

We both helping them out, luckily guards and few doctors came at the right time, caring for the hurted ponies. A guard walks to me. "What happened? Anypony dead?"

"The front wagoon is burning, I don't know if there where ponies, but if there was ..." The fire ponies come and start using magic to extinguish the fire. I hope there weren't anypony in this wagoon, hopefully not Star either ...

After a few minutes later, only smoke is left. They look inside, looking for any unlucky ponies, but nothing. "All clean, nopony here."

Thank Celestia ... wait, where is Star?

"Sugarcube? I found this in one of the wagoons." AJ shows me a note. I take it and start reading it for myself.

Missed me? It's me, your lovely unicorn mare. You tought I give just up after killing Lighning? You better had accepted your faith back then, instead of escaping me and killing him. Oh dear, now you make everything worser for you, your family and your friends. Believe me, you will suffer ... except you come near the Colt Beach in Manehattan and give up. Then we let that Star go back home. If not ... bye bye~ <3

My body shivers hard, tears running down. "I-I need to go ..."

"Why? Somepony ponynapped her?" Before I could reply, the guards pushing me to the ground. "Enough is enough, Mr. Runner. Recently everything bad here has somehow to do with you. We bring you to the princess for your punishment!"

"W-What?! Ouch, hey, I have nothing to do with this!" They put hoofcuffs on me. "Oh really? We saw what happened in Ponyville and short after the train with her crashes!"

"I wasn't even there-"

"Who says your working alone?" I open my muzzle to say something, but get gagged suddenly. "Enough time to talk when you meet the princess."

I look to AJ, who seems as surprised as me, before I get dragged away, back to Ponyville ...

"This doesn't become a thing now, or Light?" Still in hoofcuffs, I look to Twilight, sitting in front of me. "I already said, I have nothing to do with the train."

"Yeah, he was with me all the time." AJ replies, sitting next to me. "I believe you, Light. Don't worry, but after all what happened, the rest doesn't. Not even some of my best friends are sure about you anymore. You might stay here for a while."

This is my fight ... my destiny ... I need to kick that unicorn by myself ... for Star ... and nopony will stop me.

"No. I go back to my parents to Manehattan. This place is made for me. There I can shut myself off from all the trouble, kill or be killed is the destiny there. I never should had leave there ..." They look worried to me. "Are you sure? You can stay in the castle."

"Your a princess, you have enough trouble. Just escort me to Manehattan *to get sure I don't do anything stupid* and leave me alone then ..." She shakes her head. "I can't let you leave here now or they think you planning there something."

"True ... but your the princess. If you say so, they will accept it." She frowns. "I hope your not doing anything stupid ... fine. I will give you guards until Manehattan's train station, from there you are on your own."

I nod, standing up, before, she grabs my hoof in surprise, looking at me. "Please stay out of trouble, but ... if you find out anything about those that doing all of this, tell me first, okay? No need doing things on your own."

I nod, before walking out, followed by her guards ...

Nopony will stop me ... nopony ... they used and ponynapped Sky, they tied me and ponynapped me too, they tried to kill me and now they blow up a train to ponynap Star. And everypony thinks it's my fault, that I'm responsible for this. Time to end this madness, that unicorn must die ...

"Next station Maaaanehataaan. Don't forget your stuff and have a wonderful day!" The guards lead me out of the train. "Your on your own now, the princess won't be so easy on you next zime, remember that."

I nod as they walk to the train in Ponyville's direction. Back to the roots, where my life started ...

And once again I feel everypony staring at me. Unlike I said, I don't walk back to my parents place. I directly walk to the beach. Luckily the part I used to live in isn't in my way to the beach. Tough since the incident back then, they are all to scared to bully me anyway.

After a long walk, I finally reach the beach. The weather here is cloudy, so nopony is really here right now. I start walking on the beach to look out for her. Further away from the city, there is a area rather hidden. I climb up therocks in the way and land on the other side of the rocks. big rocks all around, so nopony from outside sees him here. Perfect place.

"You dirty whorse is here, right?" As on word, she appears per teleportation, grinning wide and a tied and gagged Star. When she notices me, she starts to struggle, her eyes having a *Help me*-expression. "You really came, a stallion of honor I see."

"Just shut up and give her back! And I swear, if you did anything to her ..." She chuckles. "You came, no need for her anymore. Now give up and come with me."

I sigh and slowly walk to her until I stand with her face to face. "Here, now let her go."

"Nope." She chuckles, her horn glows, but before any spell is spoken, I slam my hoof into her face. She gasps in surprise, when I already pushes her to the ground, repeatly slamming my hoof on her horn. She gasps and kicks me from her hard, before levitating me up and slamming me against one of the rocks, that cracks by the impact. I groan in pain, falling to the sandy ground. I feel something approaching me fast and roll to the side, avoiding a magic beam from her. Standing fast up on my hooves I dodge another shoot, using my agility to dodge her shoots, before slamming myself on her, pushing her into another rock hard. I slam her then to the ground, choking her. She gasps and gags, blood over her face and then ... chuckles. "Haha ... urgh ... your like us ... hehe ... natural killer."

"What?" The moment I stopped she teleports away ... and doesn't reappears again. What did she mean?

"MPFHH!" I look to Star and run to her, untying and ungagging her. She gasps, breathing air, before taking me into a hug. "T-Thank you ..."

"No thanks, you okay? Did she done anything?" She shakes her head. "Nope, except for ponynapping me. Where is Rising?"

"Ponyville hospital, he should be fine sooner or later." She nods, standing up. "I go now back, need to see him."

"Wait, are we-"

"No. I really am thankful you risked your life to save me, but I can't forget what you did. I'm not mad at you, but I can't easily forget that either. You might have a better chance with her then me now. Just stop thinking about me, okay?" She pulls the horn-blocker off, a ring that blocks unicorn magic, before teleporting away. "Star ..."

I should go home ... for real this time ... no reason to go back to Ponyville right now. Staying here, find her hiding place and kill the unicorn.

I stand up, slowly walking back to the main beach and then, for real, to where I used to live. "I'm sure my parents still trusts me ..."

My eyes widen, running to my parents house. I feel ponies starring at me, but no time to care. When I reach the door, I see a letter in front of it. Adressed to me, I feel my heart pumping in fear, slowly taking out the letter from it.

My body shakes like crazy, slowly looking to the photo under the letter. My eyes widen, tears running down, as I watch the photo with my dead, slaughtered parents. No ... nonono ... NOOO!

My body shakes as never before, losing grip on the letter that then magically bursts into flames. I turn around, tears running down and slowly walk away from the house. Ponies look at me, but for once confused then angry. My lips shivers as I throw up on the ground, before my body loses control, falling uncouncious to the ground, the only thing left hearing is Blood's laugh, over and over again ...
