After having her herd torn from her in a mysterious way, Twilight Sparkle spends many a cold night struggling to find them again. However, when she does find them, she also discovers a galaxy torn by strife and war - and ends up caught in the crossfire. With danger looming around every corner and in every cantina, can Lero, Lyra, Rainbow Dash and Twilight survive long enough to find a way home? And after so long without human contact, will Lero suddenly find himself not wanting to go?
