Fall of Equestria: A Single Guard
Watch out for those strong will types
Load Full StoryDainn stared at the blade sticking out of his chest. The bright red, life-giving essence dripping off its point before the blade violently twisted itself, shredding the caribou leader's heart to pieces.
Celestia and Luna watched as the life died in the Dainn's eyes. The so called 'Crystal Penis' fell from his grasp as he fell to his knees and collapsed on the ground. The growing pool of blood marking his death, an untimely end that no one saw coming.
Both Princesses looked back up, seeing a single guard with a bloody sword in his grip. The look of pure distaste and spite directed at the corpse before him. He looked to the vaulted scepter that used to be called the Crystal Heart, now misshapen into some peverted symbol of power. He raised a single hoof and slammed down on it, shattering with complete ease.
He ignored the shocked looks on the four caribou guards' faces as he reach down and undid the collars on his leaders.
"Princesses..." he said quietly, tossing the collars to the side as he did so. He looked back up to see the caribou guards advancing towards him, the look of pure rage on their faces. He turn to them with a simple smile on his face. "Excuse me."
His horn glowed with power as he brought up a shield to block the stun stick, jamming his blade into the guard's chest with ease. Simple leather and crude iron plates did nothing to stop the magical forged steel from piercing through. He pulled out a small blade and threw at another guard, catching him in the throat. He shoved the dead guard off his blade, blocking an over head swing from the third guard.
Their pitiful excuse of magic slamming into his Equestrian enchanted golden armor did absolutely nothing, so much so that he didn't even realize he was hit with magic as he continued his assault on the third guard. He kicked out a hoof, shattering the guard's knee, causing him to cry out in pain as he lost his footing. The Royal Guard kneed him in the gut, before slamming the pommel of his sword into his face, knocking him to the ground.
Another spell slammed into him, he looked up to see the final guard shakily raise his stun stick up in his defense. The Royal Guard walked over his down opponent, crushing his windpipe as he did so, to his final target.
It was too much for the Caribou guard, he turn to flee, screaming as he attempted to escape.
The Royal Guard roared as he threw his blade, his magic taking over the sword's flight as it zero in on its target and slammed into the fleeing Caribou skull, pinning him to the wall.
Silence took over the hall, the sounds of fighting rising off in the distance as his own Guards shook off whatever compulsions Dainn casted over the city. He walked over to Dainn, his horn glowing as it yanked his sword back to his grasp. A grisly idea forming within his mind.
"Who are you?" Luna said as she freed her sister.
"Sergeant Mind Eye, Mam." Mind answered as he grabbed the antler and lifted Dainn's head off the ground.
"How.... how were you able to fend off Dainn's spell?" Celestia’s voice croaked out, no thanks to Dainn little fun time with her throat.
"I was never affected by it. Few others are too. We laid low and waited for a good time to strike. We 'were' planning on attacking him tonight, but I saw an opportunity and took it." Mind raised his sword up high. Celestia and Luna looked away as the sword swung down.
Canterlot Plaza
Its been a few hours since the parade and the Caribou had all but made themselves at home. Once their leader's spell weaved through the city's males and sided with their cause of male dominance, it will be a simple walk in the park.
"You're surrounded, give up now or face our blades, you fucking weak bastards!" A single stallion in Royal Guard armor roared in anger. "You caribou are nothing more than a shit stains on the bottom of my boot. In fact, don't give up! I'll fucking rip you all to shreds right now!"
A single roar of confirmation from the large number of various stallions made the smaller number of caribou nervous. Every single one of them was angry beyond belief, their minds tampered with and forced to do things to various mares they knew and cared for filled them with righteous fury. Dozens of mares stood behind them, stun at the quickly changing scene before them.
A mere few hours ago, almost every stallion in the city was calling out for every mare to bow down before them. Then in the midst of hunting down escaping mares, the stallions seemingly reverted back to normal.
And soon came the killings and screaming.
The mares watched in horror as the stallions turn into rabid animals. Rage consuming their very soul as they brutally killed every caribou they came across.
Beaten to death, hanged, gutted, every conceivable ways to kill a being that can be done was done with extreme prejudice. There was few even a few stallions that were thrown into the mix as well, refusing to heed their calls in hopes of realizing such a peverted future for themselves.
Red collar mares were thrown into homes with various black collar and free mares to watch over them as they hunted for the would be invaders.
Before anyone could react, something came sailing over the crowd and landed directly between the group. The caribou froze in shock as seeing Dainn's head sitting on the street, the look of shock and disbelief permanently frozen on his face.
The stallions parted ways, revealing a large contingent of Royal Guards making their way to them.
Along with Princess Celestia and Luna. Both free from their collars and fully dressed once more, everypony aside from the caribou, winced at their missing horns and plucked wings. Almost every stallion fell to their knees and began to whisper for forgiveness.
"Rise... all of you." Celestia called out, frowning as none of them did so.
"We can't." One stallion closes to her, causing her to focus on him.
"And why not?" Luna prodded as she kneel next to the stallion and cup his chin. She gently raised his head, taking in his tear stricken face.
"We are not worthy of your forgiveness. We allowed ourselves to be controlled by our baser instincts and perversions." The stallion whimpered as he looked away. "We don't deserve any kindness."
"Listen well, my little ponies." Celestia voice carried over the plaza. "This horrible day is not anypony's fault. It was a spell that none of us can even hope to imagine in the first place, let alone defend against. Very few of you can resist such a thing, and I am happy to see those few that did, managed to carry out a task of great importance. In the end, it does not matter. The foul creature that peform the spell is now dead, and his forces within Canterlot routed."
Celesti quickly walked over and pulled out sword and aimed it at the closes caribou. "Speak quickly. Where is Discord. I can sense his magic within Dainn, so he has a hand in this."
For a single moment, the caribous remain defiant, only to pale as Celestia swung her sword and decapitated three caribous in one swing. She aimed her sword at another group and asked once more. "I have plenty of time and plenty of bodies to go through. I am no longer 'pussy footing' around, tell me now or I will start lobbing off body parts."
"He's back in our lands!" One caribou cried out, fear overriding whatever superiority he once held. Seeing dozens of his fellow males being killed was too much for him. "Dainn invited Discord for a small dinner and managed to enslave him! He used magic to drain Discord's power and add it to his own!"
"How?" Celestia growled, she thought Discord had freely given his power to 'snub' her. But she severely doubted that he wanted this, hopefully this can be salavaged, in more ways than one.
"I don't know?! Dainn found something a couple of years ago, said it was gift from the gods themselves, a red horn alight with magic unrivaled anywhere else.
Luna lean in close to Celestia, muttering under her breath. "A red horn? Sounds like Sombra's horn."
"Makes sense. Spike and the Elements defeated Sombra two years ago." Celestia answered back, a frown on her face. She stepped aside as pointed her sword down the street. "You have thirty seconds to get out my city before I unleash the guards."
"You bitch! That's not enough time!"
"Twenty five seconds."
"Run!" The caribou rushed down the street as once, ponies watching on as they fled. Celestia raised her hand and wave forward.
"Take them out." The Royal Guards rushed after their would be invaders, eager to slaughter them after what they did.
"What do we do now, sister?" Luna asked, watching as the Royal Guard disappear from view.
"We take care of our ponies and find Discord." Celestia said softly, watching as several mares get closer to some of the stallions, only to flinch as they got close to them. Said stallions looked like they were visibly struck when this happens, quietly stepping away from them. "Healing the victims of this travesty is the first step. Plus we must find the rest of the Elements. Rainbow and Twilight are still missing."
"Of course." Luna nodded her head before she began to bark out orders to the few remaining guards.
"Please... let this nightmare be over." Celestia whispered to herself as she walked over to her subjects.
