A rainbow coloured trail

When I heard the news I immediately flought to my friends.
"Awwww yeah!" I waved the letter in front of Rarity's face.
"Darling, excuse me." She said "Could you please not storm into my shop like that."
"Relax Rarity. Nothings broken right?" I looked around the shop to make sure. I broke things before.
"Now back to the important part. You know I'm part of the temporary Wonderbolts? Well, I get to be a permanent member!"
"Amazing!" she said. "I am so happy for you dear."
That night we had a party, planned by Pinkie of course, at Twilights place.

It seems so long , altough it is was just three days after that I had nopony to party with anymore.
The day I arrived Spitfire gave me a tour trough the academy. From now on I lived at the other side of the adacemy with the other Wonderbolts. There were three houses. One for the mares, one for the stallions and one for Wonderbolts in training like me.
In the main building there was a library, cantine and some offfices. I did'nt knew how much trouble I would get.

I sometimes wonder what I would have done if I knew it would go that way.
Would I not go at all? Or would I try to do as much as possible? As much as a mare like me could.
There were so many things I could have done, but I had no idea what was really going on.
It was so much more then one pony could take.
It was a like curse from a century ago that nopony could see coming and nopony could prevent.
I sometimes wake up at night screaming from the nightmares. But he's always there next to me to comfort me and take away the memories of fire, at least for a short while.
And sometimes cry because of what I could have done and what I should have.
And how many ponies would be happy now if I did.
