It was Nightmare Night in all of Equestria. Everypony pulling pranks on each other, telling stories, or maybe, just trying to catch up with old friends.

Now, there are many stories and many towns and cities to be telling about, Manehatten, Canterlot, Fillydelphia, but for now, let's focus on a little town called, Ponyville.

This town's Nightmare Night was the most unique because together they pranked the third best pranker, if you count Princess Luna and Pinkie Pie. You might be thinking right now 'so what' or 'yeah, yeah', but, why they did it was because they had gotten sick of her always pranking them and no pony doing anything about it, so they got revenge. They pranked her so hard, so terrifyingly scary, she never pranked again, okay maybe just not on Nightmare Night.

I'm probably boring you all, so here's our story.

**Of how Rainbow Dash learned the meaning of *FRIGHT!*****

    Twilight Sparkle was walking through town on Nightmare Night with Spike, her assistant/brother/friend. She was dressed up as Clover the Clever, since no one knew what she was and kept thinking she was a clown or an old guy last year, so she stuck with something simple. Spike was still dressed up as a dragon, in a dragon, like last year, but like he said, 'It doesn't matter the costume, as long as you still get candy.'

    They walked together, eventually stopping at a house and getting candy every now-and-then.

  They then came across a house that looks like it's been there forever, but neither of them have ever seen it before.

    Spike shrugged his shoulders and started walking up the steps to the house's front door. When he reached it, he knocked on middle of the door four times only.

No response.

He knocked four more times.

Still no answer.

    He sighed and began to walk away, seeing Twilight standing on the first step, giving him a look telling him he tried, but as he began to descend the first step, the house's front door slowly creaked open, making Spike smile and run towards the door with a smile as huge as his head. He held out his trick-or-treat bash, awaiting candy to pour into his bag, some candy, any candy, one candy? He looked back to see Twilight staring in horror at something behind him, and he felt like he didn't want to turn around or get candy from this house anymore. He slowly turned around to see a horrifyingly, gruesome, goo-covered, monstrosity with three eyes and six legs and hooves staring right back at him, it was pitch-black, from ugly head to disfigured hooves, and it was staring into the little drake's very soul. It roar-ed at Spike, covering his face in a thin layer of  thick, sticky saliva, then, Spike passed out. And, surprisingly the beast started cackling, and it didn't sound gurggly or rough at all, maybe slightly evil, though.

    The beast took two of it's slimy hooves and pulled off it's five-eyed, sharp-teethed, huge, grotesque head, but no blood spurted out, no bones broke off, nothing but a rainbow-maned blue Pegasus in a really convincing costume.

"Bahahaha!! Ahhhhhahaha!!! Ohh, this is priceless! Wooh! That. Was. An Awesome. Prank! He was like 'ahhh!' and I was like 'rooaaarrr!' and then he was like 'aaahhoohhh' and...then....he....passed out, ohh. Sorry Twi'. I didn't mean to knock him out, just wanted to give him a little a scare, that's all. No biggie, right?"

    Twilight faced Rainbow, looking like she was about to burst into flames like last time, she picked the unconscious Spike onto her back, turned around and started walking away from Rainbow.

    Rainbow Dash started flying after her angry alicorn friend. When she caught up, she started flying slowly next to her. "Hey, I said I'm sorry! It's not my fault Spike can't take a prank."

    That got Twilight, she turned to face Rainbow Dash, her ears pulled down to the sides of her head and snorting like an angry bull. "You know, Rainbow? You've got some nerve, trying to apologize for what you did to Spike! Are you even his friend? Because friends don't do things like that to each other! What are you even supposed to be?"

    Rainbow thought about it for a second. "Of course I'm Spike's friend, it was just a prank, like a joke. And I'm supposed to be a, an Elder Bomb."

"You mean an Eldritch Abomination."

"Yeah, that. Anyway, I'm very sorry for knocking Spike out, but I gotta jet. Ponies won't prank themselves, you know." Rainbow was about to take off, but Twilight put a hoof on her shoulder to keep her in place.

"Rainbow, one day, someone's going to give you a taste of your own medicine, and it's probably not going to taste good. I'm just warning you, Rainbow. This isn't a threat, and I'm not trying to scare you, but, watch your back Rainbow. You might need to for tonight." Twilight stared deep in Rainbow's eyes, plunging deep into her soul. She hugged Rainbow, then left for home.

    Rainbow just watched as Twilight left, wondering what Twilight meant by 'watch your back' and 'you might need to tonight'. Not to scare me? Phfft! I'm Rainbow Dash! Dash, doesn't get scared! Rainbow heard rustling in a nearby bush and zoomed off towards the center of town, where Mayor Mare asked all the citizens of Ponyville to meet for a special show from Zecora. Too bad Rainbow didn't have a chance to see a thick, green fog slowly rolling out of the bush, seemingly out of nowhere, but undoubtedly purposely put there.

    Rainbow Dash arrived just in time, Mayor Mare was just about to give her speech and introduce Zecora.

    Dash searched the huge crowd, looking for an opening to stand in. She saw a spot near the front, at the edge of the crowd. When Dash landed, she noticed that her friends were all next to her, minus Twilight, and The Cutie Mark Crusaders were also there, standing next to their respective sister, besides Scootaloo, who was next to Fluttershy.

"Rainbow Dash! You made it! I thou-I mean, we were starting to think you wouldn't show." Scootaloo rushed forward and hugged one of Rainbow Dash's hind leg as soon as she saw her land.

"Of course I'd come, we all planned coming to Zecora's ghost stories together, well, Twilight didn't come, but that's okay, right?" She looked around at her friends and saw all of them were either pointing their nose up away from her direction, frowning at her, or just trying to not look at her. "Hey, what gives? Why is everyone so angry or whatever? Was it something I said?"

    Rarity answered first, trying to contain herself, but you could hear it in her voice she was straining. "Well, no, it was more of what you did, Rainbow Dash." She was gritting her teeth by now, she blew a short breath through her teeth.

"What? What'd I do?" Rainbow looked at each of her friends, looking for the answer.

"Seriously, sugarcube? Ta put it blunt, ya terrified Spike so bad, Twilight had ta take 'im back home, and couldn't make it. So, thank ya very much, Dash!" Applejack rolled her eyes at the oblivious Pegasus. "Wow, Rainbow. 'Ah know ya like ta prank, but this time ya went too far. Making poor Spike faint from that Eldritch Abomi-whatever it is. One day, your gonna get what's coming to ya." Applejack huffed and walked past Rainbow Dash, going far enough to be away from Rainbow, but not to enough to stray from her friends.

    Fluttershy stepped in, to break the silence. "Um, while what Rainbow Dash did was very immature and bad, but let's all scold her later, Mayor Mare's about to give  her speech. So, shhh! Please."

    And Fluttershy was right Mayor Mare tapped her hoof on the podium to gain everypony's attention. Mayor Mare was dressed up as a mime instead of a clown like last Nightmare Night.
