“Hello, wake up sir. Are you alright?”

“Ah.”

“Good, you’re ok.”

He started to open his eye “I'm ok, a hello anyone there” he said to no one.

“Over here.”What he saw was a clay pegasus with a rainbow mane.

“Hi my name is Rainbow Dash. What's yours?”

“Kyle. Where am I?”

“You’re in Ponyville, well the outskirts of it anyway.”

“And where is that?”

“In Equestria.”

“Ha I may have crossed in to an alternate dimension,” said Kyle.

“Alternate dimension?” questioned Rainbow.

“Yes, some people from my world believe there might be alternate versions of the world. Some might be similar, and some may not like there might be a world where everyone is the opposed gender.  It’s only a theory, and has not been proven. I might have fallen though a rift between the two worlds. There might not be a way for me to get home."

“I see,” she said noticing something by his feet. One was a green book; anther was a black case like thing. There was a bag, but out of the bag was a small box with some markings on it. She notices it reads Cardfight Vanguard. “So you play Cardfight Vanguard?”

“Yes why?”

“Because it’s one the greatest games that has ever come out. Do you play? I have my deck with me, and if you wait one minute I’ll get us a table.”

“Sure why not,” he pulled out one of his decks, and from the bag he pulled out his playmate.

“Hay what's that?” questioned Rainbow coming back with the table.

“Oh this is my playmate. It’s a thing that you can put your cards on, so they’re not on the table. Here I have a spare if you want to borrow one, just give it back after the fight ok.”

“Sure, you can go first if you want.”

“Thanks, I think I will take the first turn.”

“Ok.”

“Now stand up Vanguard,” they both said.

“Battleraizer.”

“Deity Sealing Kid, Soh Koh.”

“Ha, you use the nova grapplers.” said Kyle.

“I have never seen that unit before.”

“Really, it came out in set nine?”

“What, we’re only on set three, and the fourth set is coming out soon. You mean to tell me, you have cards from set nine,” said rainbow.

“Ah yes, now let’s start. Draw then I ride Dust Storm Eradicator Toko and move Soh Koh back. I end my turn.”

“Fine my turn, I ride Tough Boy. I move Battleraizer back and Tough Boy will attack your Vanguard for 8000.

“No guard.”

“Drive check, no trigger.”

“I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“I end my turn.”

“I draw now. I ride Dragonic Deathscythe and call Eradicator, Spark Rain Dragon, now Spark Rain Dragon attacks your Vanguard for 9000.”

“No guard, I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“Now with a boost for Soh Koh, Dragonic Deathscythe attacks your vanguard for 15000. “

“No guard.”

“Check the drive trigger, draw trigger that's 5000 to Deathscythe, and I draw.”

“I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“I end my turn.”

“Ok, I stand and draw. I ride Brutal Jack; I activate his counter blast to get rid of his restraint, then call King of Sword and Hungry Dumpty. His skill, I flip one card in the damage zone back face up, then the king will attack your Vanguard for 10000.”

“I guard with Eradicator, Dragon Mage.”

“Fine, then Jack attacks your vanguard for 11000.”

“No guard.”

“Check the drive trigger, heal trigger that 5000 to Hungry Dumpty, and I recover one damage. “

“I check for a damage trigger, heal trigger, that's 5000 to my Vanguard, and I recover one damage.”

“Boosted by Battleraizer, Hungry Dumpty attacks your Vanguard for 20000.”

“No guard, I check for a damage trigger, critical trigger everything goes to my Vanguard.”

“I end my turn by shuffling Battleraizer back in my deck.”

“I stand and draw. I ride Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon. I call Toko and Eradicator, Demolition Dragon now with a boost from Toko, Spark Rain Dragon attacks your Vanguard, and his skill is if there's an Eradicator in the Vanguard Cycle, he gains 3000 power. He is attacking for 19000.”

“What? There are units that get more powerful depending on what your Vanguard's name.”

“Yah.”

“Fine then, no guard I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“Boosted by Soh Koh, Vowing Sword Dragon attacks for 16000.”

“No guard.”

“I check the twin drive, first card no trigger, and second card no trigger.”

“I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“Then Demolitiom Dragon attacks King of Sword, and he has the same skill as Spark Rain Dragon. He’s attacking for 10000.”

“I intercept with Hungry Dupty.”

“I end my turn.”

“I stand and draw. I ride Gold Rutile and call the Queen of Heart. Boosted by the Queen, the King attacks your Vanguard, the Queen’s skill gives 4000 power, and he’s attacking for 20000.”

“I don't guard, I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“Then I attack your Vanguard with Gold Rutile.”

“I don't guard.”

“I check the Twin Drive, first card no trigger, and second card no trigger, my attack failed to hit. I end my turn.”

“I stand and draw. I move Demolition Dragon back and call Dragon Dancer, Veronica. Now with a boost by Demolition Dragon, Veronica attacks your Vanguard for 15000.”

“I guard with Ring Mare Clara.”

“Then with a boost by Soh Koh, Vowing Sword Dragon attacks your Vanguard, and if you have three or more damage, he gains 2000 power its 19000.”

“No guard.”

“I check the Twin Drive, first card no trigger, and second card no trigger.”

“I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“Now with a boost for Toko, Spark Rain Dragon attacks for 19000.”

“I guard with shining mare.”

“I end my turn.”

“I stand and draw. I call Tough Boy and Asura Kaiser, and then Asura Kaiser attacks your Vanguard for 11000.”

“I don't guard, I check for a damage trigger, no trigger.”

“Then with a boost for Tough Boy, Gold Rutile Attacks your Vanguard.”

“I guard with Worm Toxin Eradicator Seiobo as well. I intercept with Veronica and with her skill her shield doubles.”

“I check the twin drive, first card no trigger, and second card no trigger.”

“With boost from the Queen the King attacks your Vanguard.”

“I guard with Toko, and I also intercept with Spark Horn Dragon.”

“I end my turn.”

“Oh you think you can beat me this turn, then think again.”

“I do think I can beat you, and do you want to see how.”

“Yah show me.”

“I stand and draw Break Ride Thunder Break Dragon.”

“Break ride?”

“It’s a new skill, if you ride a unit of the same clan on a card like this, and if you have four or more damage you can activate this skill.”

“Ok.”

“Now my Vanguard gains 10000 power and I get to retire one of your front rear-guard units. I chose King of Sword. Then I activate Thunder Break Dragon's Counter Blast. When I ride him, I get to retire a grade two or lower rear-guard units I chose Tough Boy. Then I call Discharging Dragon and Barrage Eradicator, Zion. Then with a boost from Soh Koh, Thunder Break Dragon attacks your Vanguard. Limit Break Thunder Break Dragon gains 5000 power when he attacks your Vanguard.”

“What's a limit break?”

“It's a skill that was introduced in set six, like my break ride; it can only be activated if you have four or more damage.”

“Got it.”

“I'm attacking for 31000.”

“I never would have thought you can get an attack that strong without triggers. I have no choice Twin Blader will guard with his skill, if I discard a Nova Grappler from my hand so your attack can’t hit.”

“I check the twin drive, first card critical trigger; I give all to Zion, second card, another critical trigger; I will give all to Zion again.”

“Ah come on, you got two critical triggers.”

“Now with a boost from Demolition Dragon, Zion attack your vanguard. I activate his skill with a counter blast he gains 3000 power its 30000.”

“I don't guard, I check for a damage trigger, first card critical trigger everything goes to my Vanguard, and second card, no trigger I lose.”

“That was a game, Rainbow Dash.”

“You won because of that stupid break ride and that double trigger.”

“Sorry ‘bout that, if I would’ve known you were on set three, I would have used one of my other decks.”

“Other decks?”

“Yah, with this deck, I have eight decks.”

“Wow, hay you should met my friends they like Vanguard too, though some have not found a clan they like yet. You can show them what clans are out in your world, and if they like the clan, all they have to do is wait for that set to come out. What do you say?”

“Sure, I have no other choice anyway, because here, I have no food or shelter.”

“Great follow me.”

“Oh and Rainbow Dash.”

“Yah.”
