"One ticket to ponyville pleas!"
"Shore 17 bits"the clerk replied without out looking up.
"Ok ,give me a sec" i say counting out seventeen bits and returning the bag to my jacket pocket 'Yhea Yea i know most ponies don't were cloths but i love my denim jacket and i don't leave home without it ( if i had a home i mostly use it as a pillow now ) "k thanks sir" i say pushing a small pile of bits towards the window.
"Round trip of one way mis?"he asked looking up"ummm" he droned.
"Yea i know i look strange, one way"
"Umm sorry mis just never seen any-pony like u before"
"Its fine I'm used to it"i replied looking at my reflection in a glass window
Looking over my grey coat and my sun-blond main with the blue hi-light running threw it ,but it was the fangs the bat wings my orange feline like eyes the little tuffs on the tips of my ears that he was starring at of corse the single jet black wrap around earring was strange too not to mention my jacket and watch
"So wen dose the train leave?"
"15 teen minutes mam"

As i took my seat i looked around the compartment re arranging my saddlebags on the bench when i was interrupted by a lavender Pegasus mare with a flared red and black main.
"Can i sit here the rests full?"
"Sure its just me" i state motioning for her to take a seat on the bench facing towards me
"Thank you I'm lucinder pleased to meet u mis?"
"The names midnight" i replied as she studied me carefully. As our eyes met she looked away
"Sorry but I've never meet a pony like you before"
"Its fine i get it allot and most haven't seen a bat-pony before"i stated watching her blush fade a bit "so were you headed?"
"Oh I'm headed to ponyville to meet my new roommate the land-lord said they'd be interesting though!"
"Oh thats cool me two i needed a place to stay and renting a place in ponyville is the cheapest around here"
"Were are u coming from?"
"Specifically? an ally way in hoofington but i grew up in the caves out by manehatten"
"An ally I'm so sorry i never realized"
"Its fine helped to save the bits to get me were I'm going and it wasn't that bad" i mused as my eyes drifted over her i noticed her the mark on her flank a strange purple circle with three others overlapping in side it "so what is that"
"Hun what are u talking about?"she asked noticing the object of my stare "oh u mean my cutimark? Well i got burned by a metal plate try ing to put out a fire and my cutimark copied the burn pattern how about you?"
"Well I'm a musician" i remarked taping the dark blue 16th note adorning my hind quarters
"Oh realy what do u play?"
"The guitar" i said motioning to the case beside me
"Ponyville in 5 minutes!!!" Called the train conductor ofer the loud speaker.
"Well it was good talking to you see you around maybe?"
"Maybe"she said as i grabbed my stuff and walked out to the door jumping on to the stations walk way as the train pulled in flapping my wings i set off to find my new home

As i checked the address the land lord gave me i looked up at my new home a small two story cottage like building nearly identical to all the others in town opening the door i saw that the house was Empty aperintly my roommate was moving in today to so i began making my way up to the bed room to unpack my meager belongings. laying my saddle bags on the bed i set my guitar case in the corner leaning against the wall wen i herd a knock at the door"be there in a second" i called out walking down the stairs hopeing it was my roommate as i opened the door to se the cute mare from the train.
"Hey wats up?"
"Oh hi midnight right? Well according to the letter this is my apartment"
"Nice me two i just started unpacking wen you knocked, come on in roomie!"
"Well thank you" she said looking about the house "i love these rafters here" she remarked pointing to the thick pieces of wood holding up the roof "we can use them to hang al kinds of decorations!!!"
"Yea there pretty great specially since i sleep upside-down i can just hang off them. Well better get busy unpacking our stuff i guess."

"Well" i said flattening the last cardboard box "thats the last of them!"
"Great you want to go get some thing to eat? Im starved!"
"Shure sounds great were we gona go?"
"Well i passed by this place called Sugar-cube Corner on the way here do you want to try that?"
"Why not sounds good to me"
