//-------------------------------------------------------// Daily Struggles -by kittyhasnosoul- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Sisters //-------------------------------------------------------// Sisters Princess Celestia sat in her large room, starring up at the stained glass ceiling. A single tear fell down her cheek as she replayed the words that she had heard earlier that morning from a resident in Canterlot. "She stays in that castle all day long, and whenever there's trouble in Equestria, she just sends her student to save the day while she most likely sits in her bed and eats junk food!" "She banished her own sister to the moon just because she finally had a growth spurt and became taller than her." Why would the ponies think of her like that? They did not have the slightest clue of what happened the night she had to banish Nightmare Moon to the moon for a thousand years. Why judge before knowing the whole story? She sends Twilight Sparkle to defeat the creatures that threaten Equestria simply because she is too busy taking care of Canterlot and making sure that harmony is maintained to go on adventures, and when she has the chance to help she tries to help in the best way possible. Her glance moved over to the desk across from the bed where she laid, where a photo album stood. She slowly stood up from the bed and walked across the crystal floor, trying to make as little sound as possible as her hooves hit the ground and echoed across the castle. She eyed the book for a moment, reading aloud the words that were scribbled in sharpie marker onto the plain blue cover: 'Luna and Tia's Book of Princessness' She took a moment to straighten the crown upon her head before opening the book and turning to the first page. There she saw a picture of her and Luna when they were fillies with their parents, Galaxy Dust and Sun-ray. Celestia took a moment to admire the photo, before turning to the next page. Just as she lifted a hoof to turn to the next page, the door to her room opened and startled the princess. "Sister?" Luna asked as she stepped into the room, looking concerned. Celestia quickly closed the book, and turned her attention to the other alicorn starring at her. "Oh, hello, Luna. What are you doing in here?" Celestia asked, moving away from the desk and walking towards her sister. The night-sky blue pegacorn chuckled, "I.. live here?" she said, pointing a hoof to the right at the bed across from Celestia's own. Celestia's eyes widened slightly in realization, "Oh, yes. How are you?" she asked casually. Luna's smile faded, "I heard talking. Were you talking to yourself, or was there somepony else in here?" she cocked her neck sideways and caught sight of the photo album thats cover was sticking up slightly, indicating that it had been opened recently. "What's wrong, Tia?" she asked. "You don't ever open up thy old photo albums unless you are sad." Celestia slowly made her way over to the sun colored bed and sat down, the covers wrinkling as she did so. "I.. heard some ponies talking when I went for a walk this morning," "Snobby ponies?" Luna asked with a smug look on her face, and Celestia scowled at her. "What? I was just making a joke!" Luna pointed out, "And you have to admit that some of the ponies in Canterlot can be a bit snob-like at times." Celestia sighed, then shook her head in agreement. "I heard them saying things.. things about me, and basically calling me a tyrant." The usual regal tone in her voice was lost. "They said that I was lazy, and that I ate junk food while Twilight Sparkle fought beasts with her friends." "Well, you do eat a lot." Luna said, trying to brighten up her sisters mood. Celestia brushed off the comment and continued, "They also said that I.. banished you to the moon just because you had a sudden growth spurt." Princess Luna's face became shocked, "Celestial Emily Sunrise, you banished Nightmare Moon to the moon. Not me." Celestia dug her face into her hooves at the use of her full-name, "I know. It just.. hurts, to know that some ponies think of me like that." She sighed thoughtfully, "I wish I would of interacted with the citizens of Canterlot more often. I am always cooped up in this castle, working." Luna walked over to the bed where her sister sat, "Tia," she said. "You are not a tyrant. They don't know you. You work hard everyday, you are loving and caring." She booped the older alicorn on the nose playfully. "You are my sister, and I love you." Celestia sighed, "I know, Luna. I just.. what did I do to get everypony to think of me like this?" Luna thought for moment before saying, "I.. I don't really know, Tia." Celestia covered her face with her large white hooves, "I just.. why do I care so much about what others' think of me?" Luna smiled softly and said, "It's just part of the pony mind to fear what others' may think of them." Celestia shut her eyes closed tightly, "What if they don't like me because of that time the Changeling Queen beat me?" "Tia.." Luna said, trying to calm her down. Celestia began to hyperventilate, "Why.. why would they hate me? What did I do Luna? What did I do?" "Celestia!" Luna shouted, slapping a hoof across her sisters' face. "It doesn't matter what other ponies' think of you, and for the record I would never think you were a lazy tyrant because I know you!" She took a moment to catch her breath. "And I will never judge you for your mistakes. Nopony you care about will ever hate you, just ask Twilight Sparkle and her friends." Celestia began to become teary-eyed, then reached her hooves out to hug her little sister. "Thank you, Luna.. I love you." Luna smiled happily, "We Love you too, Tia." Author's Note I had just re-watched Frozen after I wrote the first half of this, so I might of accidentally wrote Luna like Anna and Celestia like Elsa? Celestial Emily Sunrise; Best. Name. Ever. ...OkayfineI'mnotthathappywiththisfanficbutstillI'mmashoveitinyourfacebecauseItookforevertowriteit. I hope you like this fic, because I don't. I love writing sappy sisterly stories like this one, but I'm pretty sure that you guys don't, so yeah. I was in a hurry to finish this because I first started working on this story in April, then I wrote about 300 words and took a break. A 3 day break. And then I wrote 800 words and took a two week long break. ..Yeah.
