Chrysalis 1: A bug in the code.
The forest was silent, the dark leaves of the blacker of trees quietly bristled above the clearing. The silent serenity was interrupted by a slow rustling of a Bush, slowly a silhouette appeared out of the Bush, cautiously scanning its surroundings, it then stepped into the moonlight and looked to the sky "Where did it all go wrong?It was all for a reason: survival, why are the ponies so blind to the grim truth of the world?" Her voice was the only thing to be heard "No reaction- Pherhaps I was wrong? Maybe they aren't watching me anymore." She looked down to her black hooves and sighed. A twig breaking behind her caused her to jump and turn towards the sound, as she had predicted a channelling had followed her into the clearing. "Why do you persist, I am no longer your queen! I do not command you! GET AWAY!" She shouted and fired a blast of green magic at the lone changeling and turned to continue her journey but the buzzing of wings stopped her, she turned once again and saw a swarm of changelings rise above the canopy, one of the larger ones, presumably their new captain made a signal to attack and the first row of Changelings swooped down to give Chase.
It was all those blasted ponies fault. When she arrived in Canterlot many months ago to request the assistance of Celesti a in finding food for her hive she refused, Chrysalis decided to think about the concersation that night while she ran from the mob behind her.
"No, I will not allow you to take love from my subjects for the simple fact that it is such an important thing." Celestia calmly said looking down at the Changeling queen before her.
"Please, reconsider! This is for the well-being of my species!" Chrysalis desperately replied,
"No means no, it is my kingdom and they are my ponies, I must give them what is theirs." Celestia said back plainly, she did not know much of how changelings worked so she was staying on the defensive.
"You consider yourself, kind-hearted yet you contribute to the extinction of many a species of creature!" She lashed back angrily, this princess was very stubborn.
"Love is a very fragile thing, I will not have it tampered with by the likes of you and your hive..." Celestia had risen from her throne "Guards, please escort her out of Canterlot."
"Mark my words, Celesti a... I will have my revenge!" She turned and stomped down the hallway before turning her head and licking her lips "And it will be DELICIOUS!" She was then enveloped by a green glow and vanished from the throne room.
Sure, she may of overreacted a bit but when she first became queen she was determined to be the best her race had ever seen. Of course, considering the circumstances she was not doing very well. The ground shook ahead of her and she tripped over a root . She looked up to see the imposing figure of her commander BlackWing. Well, ex-commander...He quite infamously went rouge 2 years ago and started talking a group of other rouge changelings to fight for him. Chrysalis thought he had been executed over that attempted murder of some unicorn. She shakily stood up and was eye-to-eye with BlackWing "Look at this, the queen on her knees before me! Oh sorry, I do forget that you are no longer a queen agreed your hive was almost wiped out. Thankfully..." He slowly said before looking to both sides, at least five-dozen changelings came from around the clearing "It only means more New recruits for me! Any last words? Chryysi?" He said smugly before beginning to charge a magic attack from his horn.
She narrowed her eyes and slowly spoke, her voice sending chills down the spines of the surrounding changelings. "I only have three words for you ; GO TO HELL!" She shouted and released a powerful burst of magic from her horn, their combined power sending them flying in different directions as a massive green fireball gave Chase.
Zero G 1: Practice makes perfect.
A golden yellow Pegasus limped across the cobblestone pier with his white hair blowing across the front of his face, he neared a bench next to the beach and sat down, grimacing at the pain in his leg and wing. "Practice makes perfect? I guess it also makes plenty of bruises too..." He chuckled to himself before stopping when his chest started to hurt again. He turned his head towards the steady trotting of hooves towards him " Another accident J?" The mint green earth pony that had walked up to him and reassuringly poked his hind leg.
"Ahh, why'd you do that? No need to put salt in the wounds. I already said, it's Zero G! Not Zero J" the Pegasus named Zero G turned away and huffed before muttering "When will she learn?" He turned back and looked at his wing " Hey, got any new potions to help my wing Secret Seller?"
She frowned at him before looking to her stall across the path "Aye, I might just have the thing. Pherhaps I should just get you one to help you actually fly straight, heh heh." She smiled before turning away and walking back to her stall, the shelves were filled with all sorts of products like potions and books. Zero G walks over and looks at the shelf on the left
He squirts at the title of a newspaper "mysterious lights from Everfree forest: 'green fire' has been seen in various parts of the forest." He read it aloud. "Huh, interesting... didn't those channelling that attacked Canterlot get launched in that direction? Pherhaps it's them." He put a hoof to his chin and thought for a bit Mayby I'll look for them on my next flight over there. he thought to himself.
Secret seller coughed to get his attention, " your potion will be 10 bits and considering how interested ye seem to be in the papers ll give you those free 'a' charge!" She said cheerfully with her trottish accent seeping through a bit. Zero G put the bits on her counter and put the items in his bag before looking out to the sunset, he nodded towards her and set off down the pier back to his house.
He walked past the sign that read 'Welcome to Salty Sands!' And continue on down a small dirt path up the hill, his breathing was the only sound to pierce the blissful silence of the night. He looked up the path to the familiar white painted house that he called home and then closed his eyes "Home sweet home, I don't know why but this place feels so empty now that she's gone..." He turned to look at the clouds above the house and thought of what used to happen here, Rainbow Dash would visit him on the holidays once every few months. He smiled and thought back to one particular time.
A Daimler flapping of wings and sounds of dust floating through the air indicated that Rainbow Dash had arrived. He opened the front door of the house and smiled "Hey egghead, what's up? I bet it's been SUPER boring without me around as usual!" She said in her usual tomboyish voice.
"Well hello to you too and I'm still not an egghead! Just because you were naturally so good at flying... I'm still going to become a stunt pony, just you watch!" Zero G replied confidently before pointed to her neck. "So what's this then? Did a certain stallion give you that?" He said referring to her element of harmony bracelet.
"What?! No, this! For your information is the element of loyalty and its mine! Pretty cool huh? I'm not supposed to have it with me but I took it anyway, thought you'd want to see it." She proudly raised her head up higher and tapped the lightning bolt symbol on it. "It even has my cutie Mark! My 5 other friends have them too, Twilight Sparkles an even bigger egghead than you are!" She spread her arms out for emphasis before turning out to look at the moon. "We saved this silicone, her name Is Luna I think, she controls the moon now instead of Celestia."
"That's pretty impressive! Especially the part about making friends!" Zero G jokingly said for mentioning for her to come inside.
They talked about what they had done for the rest of the night and she set off for Ponyville "to go meet her friends" and has not came back since "How can she forget about her own cousin? I've known her for years...I'm sure she will come back eventually. He rested his head on his bed' s pillow and closed his eyes to go to sleep, he was then awoken by an earth-shattering noise from the forest. He quickly jamp out of his bed and stumbled over to the window to see the greenish fireball quickly approach the house
