How it all started
It was 11:30pm when Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash, and Spike had just walked out of Sugar Cube Corner along with dozens of other ponies. There had been a huge party thrown for Apple Jack's early surprise birthday party, since her actual birthday was tomorrow and she would be taking a train to Apploosa to visit her family for the week. Pinkie Pie and her friends had a great time dancing, and playing games together. As they walked out PinkiePie said good bye to every pony who had shown up. Since her friends were the last to walk out Pinkie stood looking out of her bed room window and watched as her friends walked away.
" Good night! Hope you liked the party we threw you, Apple Jack " Pinkie shouted to her friends.
" It was fine dandy. I really appreciate what you guys did for me " Apple Jack said looking back and forth at PinkiePie and her friends.
" Were glad you liked it, Apple Jack " Fluttershy said with a smile to follow her comment.
" Thanks you guys, but you didn't have to do that for me " Apple Jack to her friends.
" It was not sweat Apple Jack " Rainbow Dash said patting Apple Jack on the back.
" Really though, their probably going to throw me a party in Apploosa anyway " Apple Jack said with a smile.
" Well consider it as a parting gift from PonyVille for alp you did for every pony the past " Twilight said putting one hoof on Apple Jack's shoulder. Apple Jack nudged her hat up with a hoof and smiled thoughtfully.
" Well Spike and I better get home, it's getting really late and Spike looks like he could fall out any second now " Twilight said looking at the half sleep baby Dragon. Spike kept wobbling from side to side, trying to keep awake so that he wouldn't face plant into the ground. Twilight grinned and used her magic to levitate Spike on to her back, and the moment Spike got on her back he was out like a light. Twilight turned to her friends once again to say her final good bye before they all went thier separate ways.
Twilight had finally arrived into her tree house . It was a full moon out that night with what seemed to be billions of stars out in the sky. She walked the stairs with Spike still on her back. She gently set him in his little basket and tucked him in. Then she walked over to her bed, threw the covers over her self and fell fast asleep.
4:00 am. Boom! Twilight and Spike both jumped up when they heard the startling sound. Twilight look around with wide eyes. She was breathing heavily, trying to catch her breath back. Spike looked to be in the same state but his eyes were red, with exhaustion. Twilight kept looking around but saw nothing but Spike.
" Spike what's going on! " Twilight said worriedly to Spike.
" I-I don't know Twilight! " Spike said scared out of his mind. " Mabey it was all in our heads "
" No Spike, it sounded as if it came from outside " Twilight said turning to get out of bed. Spike followed her to the window but walked to her slowly and cautiously.
Twilight gasped in horror " Oh my celestia! "
" What? What is it Twilight " Spike said looking even more scared then before. Twilight stood in shock.
" Come on Twilight what's wrong " Spike said once more. Twilight levitated Spike up to the window. And that's when when it all started.
