The Neighbor

You walk gently,

Out towards a beaten rocky path,

Wearing a jacket that covers the pain.

Your cutie mark,

As its called,

Seems pointless and rather stupid,

But hope tells you to keep going,

towards your neighbor's house.

You realize it's not a house at all,

It's Sugar Cube Corner,

Where the Cakes and Pinkie Pie,

With their vibrant colors and songs,

Live in peace and harmony.

But which of whom,

Has suffered the pain similar to yours,

You reach the front step,

And knock on the vibrant pink door,

Waiting to see what might meet you.

Soon a pink bouncing mound appears before you,

Hair crazy and eyes constantly boucing,

"Hi there. Would you like a cupcake?" Pinkie Pie says loud and happily,

You look at your feet,

And Pinkie Pie continues to grin,

But then she realizes,

What is wrong with you,

And her bouncing happiness departs from her face,

"Come Inside" she says,

"We have a lot to talk about"
