Chapter 1: Friendship is Magic, Part 1

Dark Fire is now slightly taller than Twilight. Celestia is well aware he is the dragonborn and he has all the dragon shouts. His claws are bigger now, his tail is bigger, his wings are much larger, he has spines going down his back and tail which are the colour red and he has a coat and not scales. Meanwhile Ender looks like this.

Dark and Ender are in the Gardens, bored out of there minds. "Hey Ender, let's go ask Mom if there's anything to do." Dark suggests. Ender nods and they get up to leave.

"Hey Mom, is there anything we can do?" Dark asks, sounding really bored. "Yes Dark, you remember Twilight don't you?" Celestia asks. "Yeah." Dark replies "Well, I sent her to Ponyville on a mission and to check the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration and I would like you to accompany her as you are bored out of your mind and one of the tasks I gave her was to make friends." Dark winces "I should probably go after her then." "Yes, you should." Dark goes to a balcony with Ender and climbs onto Ender. Ender takes off towards Ponyville. On the way there he see's Twilights carriage and tells Ender to get closer and go under it. Ender goes under it and catches up and slowly goes up so only Darks head is showing.

"Hi!" Dark exclaims happily. Twilight gasps "Dark what are you doing here?" "I'm joining you." Dark walks into the carriage and turns to Spike. "Hey Spike behind you." He tells Spike. Spike looks behind him to see Enders head. Spike yelps and then recognises it. "Ender! You scared me!" Spike complained. "Aaaaaaaaannd?" Ender questions. Dark and Twilight laugh. "Oh look, we're here!" Twilight exclaims.

Everypony shouts "SURPRISE!" as the lights turn on. Dark gets startled and shouts "FO KRAH DIIN!" Everypony except Dark, Ender, Twilight and Spike are frozen. "Oops" Dark says embarrassingly, blushing a bit. "I'll fix this. YOL TOOR SHUL!" Everypony thaws and just start partying like nothing happened. A pink pony walks up to them and says "Surprise! Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I threw this party just for you! Were you surprised? Were you, were you? Huh? Huh? Huh?" Twilight responds to Pinkie Pie by saying "Very surprised. Libraries are supposed to be quiet." Pinkie giggles and says "That's silly. What kind of welcome party would this be if it were quiet? I mean, Duh! BOOOOORING!" She follows Twilight. "You see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all, 'Hello' and I was all" Pinkie gasps, "Remember? You see, I never saw you before, and if I never saw you before, that means you're new, cause I know everypony, and I mean everypony, in Ponyville." Twilight takes a bottle of hot sauce and pours it into a glass. "And if you're new, it meant you hadn't met anyone yet, and if you haven't met anyone yet, you must not have any friends, and if you don't have any friends, then you must be lonely, and that made me so sad, and I had an idea, and that's why I went" she  gasps again. Twilight starts to sip the hot sauce. "I should throw a great big, ginormous, super-duper spectacular welcome party and invite everypony in Ponyville." Everypony Twilight has met so far walk to Pinkie. "See? Now you have lots and lots of friends!" Twilights face starts showing the effects of the hot sauce. "Are you all right, sugar cube?" Applejack asks. Her mane and tail catch fire for a moment, then she runs up the stairs. Pinkie puzzles everyone by saying "Aww, she's so happy she's crying!"

The Mayor exclaims "Fillies and Gentle-colts! As Mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!" Everypony cheers except for Twilight, Spike, Ender and Dark for they have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen. "In just a few moments our town will witness the magic of the sunrise and celebrate this, the longest day of the year! And now, it is my great honour to introduce to you the ruler of our land..." The head shape on the moon slowly disappears "... The very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day... the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria..." Fluttershy says to the birds "Ready?" The mayor continues "... Princess Celestia!" Rarity opens the curtains and goes "Huh?" as there is nothing there. Twilight and Dark say "This can't be good." Mayor says "Remain calm, everypony. There must be a reasonable explanation." Pinkie exclaims "Ooh, ooh! I love guessing games! Is she hiding?" Rarity exclaims "She's gone!" Everypony gasps. Pinkie says "Ooh, she's good."

Dark whispers "Oh no," Twilight exclaims "Nightmare Moon!" Nightmare Moon says "Oh, my beloved subjects. It's been so long since I've seen your precious little sun-loving faces." Rainbow exclaims "What did you do with our Princess?!?" Rainbow is about to charge but Applejack grabs her tail in her mouth. "Whoa there, Nelly!" Applejack exclaims. Nightmare chuckles "Why, am I not royal enough for you? Don't you kno-" She gets cut off by Dark shouting "FUS RO DAH!" and getting knocked back, she shakes her head and exclaims "Anyway, remember this day, little ponies, for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night, will last, FOREVER!"
