Celestia 1, a sprawling research station at the bottom of the ocean many miles off the east coast of Equestria. Along with it's sister station Luna 1 on the west coast, it was designed and built for the purpose of understanding marine life and the geography of the seas.

Celestia 1 housed many of Equestria's finest minds, their families, as well as crew to keep the station running. It was truly a feat of pony construction, and a bastion of knowledge dedicated to better understanding the nature of the world.

A month after the arrival of the scientists, all contact was lost with the station.

There was no sign of life from the station at all, until 4 days after the loss of contact a lone shuttle submarine surfaced, containing a single member of the team.

This is the story of Celestia 1.
