Applejack woke up to a start. It was not quite morning, but the western pony was awake.
Well, that's really strange, mah average waking time was at 8:00 am. she thought as she stirred about at 2:00 am.
Turning about in her bed, Applejack debated whether she would wake up or doze off again. Finally, she made up her mind and fumbled with the sheets of her bed. She then made the bed and with a small thump, her hooves touched the cool floor.
