Swashbuckler was never a mean pony, but she was never a sociable one either.

She spent her days collecting parts and blueprints for her amazing travel machine,selling whatever unusable scrap to the yards.

Waking up at 6 AM she traveled from her Ponyville home to Rambling Rock Ridge to look for gems and other precious metals,once making friends with one of the many Diamond Dogs in the area. After leaving Rambling Rock Ridge, the mare would walk through the Everfree Forest, gathering plants for fueling purposes.

After 6 years of building,planing,and painting,Swashbuckler's work paid off,the Blaster Scallop was finally complete.

The double-house sized ship was fit with treads,propellers for water travel,and a dome that opened up to reveal a large balloon.

Swashbuckler hung fliers all around Ponyville looking for anypony who would like to join her on her voyage, nopony joined or spoke up.

Swashbuckler was disappointed but not sad,she trotted back to Rambling Rock Ridge to talk to her friend there.

Nate was a Diamond Dog,rather larger than Swashbuckler,he was perfect for the ship's muscle,Swashbuckler valued her friendship with him,and he was willing to join her on the long voyage.

Swashbuckler gave Nate a tour of the ship's interior,it's kitchen,the many bedrooms,and the basement deck,she also showed him the bast weaponry in case of attack.

After Swashbuckler and Nate finished packing all of Swashbuckler's things onto the ship,they went their separate ways for the night.

Swashbuckler went to bed,she was eager for the next day to come.
