Scootaloo's Family
Princess Twilight Sparkle, and her friends, were the keeper of the Elements of Harmony. Until they were forced to return them to the Tree of Harmony. The tree in return gave a locked box to the ponies.
The keys to unlocking the box were hidden, and were only found in time to save all of Equestria. However, the ponies that open the box, were not the friends of Princess Twilight. but the young Cutie Mark Crusaders, Sweetie Bell, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo.
This is one of their new adventures.

Diamond Tiara only had one question. “How much longer? To bad she could only ask the question to herself.
It was ‘meet the family’ week at school. Diamond Tiara’s farther, Filth Rich, along with Silver Spoon’s dad had come for their visit on Monday. Now Diamond Tiara had to put up with all the loser ponies families taking endless about there point less lives. Ponies that should be hanging on to her ever word, were wasting there time on themselves.
Worse than that, Miss Cheerilee had let the Cutie Mark Crusaders go all on the same day. “Horse apples.” Diamond Tiara thought to herself. In Diamond Tiara’s view, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were the uttermost losers. How they had become the new Keepers of the Elements of Harmony was total beyond Diamond Tiara’s comprehension. How did the elements not picked her and Silver Spoon? They were much better ponies than the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Diamond Tiara looked over to Silver Spoon who was almost drooling over the next dress Rarity was bringing out to show off to the little colts. On top of that, Sweetie Belle was just beaming with pride. It made Diamond Tiara so mad that a loser like Sweetie Belle had a total cool sister like Rarity. Rarity had made all of Diamond Tiara’s dress, and ever time she went to a big city with her family, the ponies there would always asks were they had found such marvelous outfit for such a young colt. No way Diamond Tiara could picking on Sweetie Belle today.
Diamond Tiara then looked over to Apple Bloom. Big MacIntosh seated next to his little sister. There was also no way Diamond Tiara was going to pick on Apple Bloom today ether. Not with Big Mac guarding over her, and a rumor was going around that Big McIntosh and Miss Cheerilee was going to get married. That meant that picking on Apple Bloom would get Diamond Tiara into that much more trouble than ever before. “Future teachers pet.” grumbled Diamond Tiara under her breath.
That just left, Scootaloo. Normally, Diamond Tiara, would show how superior she was to the all three of the Cutie Mark Crusaders at one time. But, with Rarity and Big Mac round that was out of the question. But Scootaloo was alone, so she was the best chance for Diamond Tiara to keep the Cutie Mark Crusaders in their proper social place.
For now, Diamond Tiara, had to put up with the losers CMC having a moment in the spot light. However, Once Rarity was done with her fashion show. Then it would be Scootaloo's turn to introduce her family. And, if Diamond Tiara could only up stage one of the Crusaders. Then so be it.
Rarity finished her talk, and turn the class back over to Miss Cheerilee. After looking at the time and the fact it was going to take a few minutes to put away all the dress, that Rarity had shown off to the class. Miss Cheerilee, subjected that the class take a recess brake.
Diamond Tiara ran out the school house door, glad to be free of the subject at hoof. Only to find that only the stallions had come outside to play.
“Where is Silver Spoon?” Diamond Tiara demanded from Pipsqueak. He replied. “She with all the other fillies. Helping put up all those dumb dress.”
Now Diamond Tiara was really mad. After all, Silver Spoon, had to understand that you must keep upstart ponies in their place. Other wise they start to think of themselves as equals.
“Now what do I have to work with.” Diamond Tiara asked herself. That was going to be hard. After all Scootaloo was no longer a blank flank. Scootaloo’s cute mark was a butterfly inside a sonic rainboom. With Rainbow Dash’s lighting rainbow on each of the four wings of the butterfly. A mixture of both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy cutie mark. Worse than that, Scootaloo was now the Keeper of Kind Loyalty.
“What was Kind Loyalty?” Thought Diamond Tiara. Maybe that could be something Diamond Tiara could use against Scootaloo.
“What else do I have to work with?” Asked Diamond Tiara to herself. “Well, Scootaloo still can not fly.” That was true, Scootaloo wings were still very small for a Pegasus.
Diamond Tiara was think about what else she could use to show the other ponies how uncool Scootaloo was, when she hear something coming form Miss Cheerilee office window. Curses, Diamond Tiara, sneaked up to the window to eavesdrop.
“Mac?” Said Miss Cheerilee. “If I give you a nice long kiss, will you behave yourself?”
“Nope.” Said Big Mac.
“I was hoping that what you would say.” Giggled Miss Cheerilee.
“YUCK!” said another pony.
“Rainbow Dash? What are you doing in my office closet?”
“Sorry, Cheerilee, but sheriff Shoo-Fly is in town and she is the last pony I want to ever see again.” explained Rainbow Dash
“Who is sheriff Shoo-Fly?” Asked Miss Cheerilee.
Rainbow Dash voice took on a childish whinny sound. “Well---See sheriff Shoo-Fly is the Cloudsdale law enforcement pony. Her and me, have sort of a bad history.”
Big Mac let out a deep breath. “Speeding tickets?” He asked.
“hum. Maybe?” Said, Rainbow Dash.
Miss Cheerilee than asked. “Why on earth hide in my closet?”
Rainbow Dash explained. “See, Scootaloo’s folks are ‘on call’ in case there is an emergency. So, Fluttershy and me are acting as replacement parents.”
Diamond Tiara was over joy. The maids and butlers were always ‘on call’ in her house. When ever, Diamond Tiara, wanted something she would simply order a servant around until she got her way. That what ‘on call’ meant to Diamond Tiara, that a pony was willing to be pushed around by a far superior class of pony. “So, being bossed around by other ponies, was more important to Scootaloo’s parents that being with her on family week.” Smiled Diamond Tiara, as she walked away form the office window.
Miss Cheerilee called the colts back into the school house to continue their lessons. To Diamond Tiara’s satisfaction, she saw Fluttershy come into the school. Followed by all the young stallions. With Fluttershy coming into the class room, that meant that Scootaloo’s family were all to busy being pushed around to care what happen Scootaloo herself.
Soon Diamond Tiara found her set, along with all the other young ponies. Miss Cheerilee came to the front of the class room and called for Scootaloo and Fluttershy to join her.
Once the class had settled down, Miss Cheerilee started speaking. “Class. As you know, this week has been about family.”
Before Miss Cheerilee could finish her speech, a voice came form the outside doorway. “I hope you don’t mind Miss Cheerilee. May I came in?” It was a firefighter pony, dress in her uniform. Scootaloo ran to the pony and gave her a big hug. “Aunt Fire Ball! You made it.”
Once the hug was over, the two of them walk to the fount of the call room. Fire Ball was saying as they walk. “Scoos, I am sure I have told you a number of times. If I know ahead of time I can work something out with the chief.”
“I know. I forget.” Said Scootaloo. Beaming with pride Scootaloo started introduced her aunt. “Every pony this is my aunt Fire Ball. As you can see she is a firefighter pony---”
Smiling, Fire Ball interrupted. “Should you introduce every pony?”
At first Scootaloo was confused, then she looked back to the outside doorway. Then she screamed “MOMMY! DADDY!” And once more she took off running to her family for big hugs and kisses. However form Miss Cheerilee’s office door could be heard as almost panicked squeak.
Not even bothering to return to the front of the class room, Scootaloo introduced her parents. “Every pony this is my dad, Rampart, he is an Emergence Management Team member. And, my mom, sheriff Shoo-Fly.”
“Hold on!” Shouted Diamond Tiara. “Your family is made up of a firefighter, an EMT, and a sheriff? But, I thought your family were a bunch of severances. I over heard that they were ‘on call’?”
“Well, I am on call.” Said aunt Fire Ball, the fire fighter. “If a fire brakes out, or some pony needs help. And my chief sends for me. I am going to have to leave.”
Scootaloo lead her mother and farther to stand next to aunt Fire Ball. Scootaloo explained as she herded her family together. “See, I come from a family of public severance. They keep other ponies safe and healthy. They sever and protect by enforcing the laws. They are best ponies.”
Diamond Tiara stammered. “But--but they all live in Cloudsdale? Why are you even hear?”
Sheriff Shoo-fly brush her little colts mane. “It was a hard thing to do, but for Scoos safety, she had to come to Ponyville and move in with her aunt Fire Ball. I hope that Rampart can transfer to Ponyville someday soon. As for me, as soon as my term as sheriff is over I plan to move hear also. Fire Ball loves this town, and what we have seen, this is the best place for Scootaloo to grow up.”
Diamond Tiara was about to take a nasty dig at Scootaloo for not being able to fly, because her family had to be strong flier to be police and rescue ponies. But, Sheriff Shoo-fly looked very protective of her clot.
Scootaloo took over speaking. “See, I still can not fly that well. Mom and dad wanted me to safe, so I had to come and live with my aunt Fire Ball. But, we go up as often as we can to Cloudsdale to visit my folks. I mean, they could have quit their jobs, but they explained to me that they had made a promise to work for the ponies of Cloudsdale, that they would help protect them. It would not be fair to the ponies if they needed their help and I took them away.”
Scootaloo put a hoof to her chin and though for a moment. Them putting her hoof back down she said. “My family is kind to the other ponies, and want to help them. And they are also loyal to their community. They have show me what Kind Loyal is. It is putting other ponies first, a sort of self sacrifice. Doing on to other ponies as you would like them to do for you. Like I said, my family is best ponies ever!”
Then Scootaloo looked over to Fluttershy, who was trying to slip away form the group. Scootaloo call to her. “Come on back Fluttershy. I need you.”
“But, you have your family with you.” Said Fluttershy.
“See that what I just found out about Kind Loyalty, and giving of yourself to help others. You are the animal control pony for Ponyville, and that a makes you a public severance, and a member of my family. Along with Miss Cheerilee who is a public severance school teach. And, Dink Doo’s mom who….”
Diamond Tiara shouted. “You can not honestly count Derpy the mail mare as part of your family. I mean she is the biggest loser in Ponyville, if not…”
A streak of rainbow darted for Miss Cheerilee office to Diamond Tiara‘s desk. “Do not disrespect our Derpy! She is also a volunteer air care pony.” Shouted Rainbow Dash. “She is also the best mail mare ever. I mean she got a heart bigger than the sky itself.”
Rainbow Dash’s rant was interrupted by a fake “HUmmp Hum” throat clearing. Slowly Rainbow Dash turned and faced Sheriff Shoo-fly. Rainbow Dash gulped, and then smile. “Hi’ay Shoo-fly…hum…long time no see?”

After school the Cutie Mark Crusaders, along with new member Dinky Doo, took the adult ponies to Sugar Cube Conner for an after school treat. Along the way they saw Derpy and asked her to join them.
Soon everyone was sitting around a table at tell each letting stories about their adventures. Laughing and joking was making the after school treat that much more enjoyable. When a small voice asked. “Could I join you?”
The group turned to see Silver Spoon standing with her milkshake in hoof. “Diamond Tiara had to say after school, and I don’t have any pony to play with today.”
Sweetie Belle got an extra chair for Silver Spoon. Sweetie Belle said. “It wouldn’t be Magical Generosity if you did not join us.”
“Nor would it be Kind Loyal not to welcome you.” Said Scooltaloo.
Apple Bloom was just blunt. “Well, it may not be Honest Fun, but to be out and out Honest. You and Diamond Tiara should try being nicer to other. Like Scooltaloo said. Do onto others, as you like them to do onto you.”
Taking a sip form her milkshake, Silver Spoon said. “I'm sort of finding that out this after noon. No other pony will play with me. I mean it sort of like I got a detection with Di even thou I did not do anything.”
Dinky Doo then thought out loud. “I wonder how Diamond Tiara is getting along with her new detection buddy?”
Back at the school house, Filthy Rich, slowly walk up to the school house door. He knocked and Miss Cheerilee answered. “Hello, Filthy Rich, how are you today?”
“I am well. May I have my daughter now?” Filthy Rich asked.
Cheerilee called for Diamond Tiara to come outside. “Now, before you go. Repeat what you were told again today?”
Diamond Tiara head sank. “Do not lesson in on big ponies conversations. Do not disrespect other ponies parents. And, do not pick fights.”
Filthy Rich gowned. “Di, what am I going to do with you? Well, as long as I am hear, lets pick up your little friend as well.”
Cheerilee smile and call out with a song. “Rainbow Dash.”
Rainbow Dash came outside, head and wings held low.
Still smiling, and trying to hold back laughter, Cheerilee said. “Now before you go. Tell me what you were told today.”
Rainbow Dash took in a deep breath and then said. “Do not hide in the teacher closet from law enforcement. Do not fly in the class room. Do not pick fights with others.”
Then pointing her hoof at Diamond Tiara, Rainbow Dash exclaimed. “But she started it!”
“Rainbow Dash.” Said Cheerilee in her stern teach voice. “It takes two ponies to start a fight. You could have been the bigger pony and walk away. Now, remember what Sheriff Shoo-fly said?”
“As long as I am under your charge. I have the right to remain silent. If I give up the right to remain silent, what ever I say will beheld again me in a court of law….”
Filthy Rich, with eyes wide open, said. “HUMM….You can keep this one Miss. Cheerilee.” Then he all but ran away with Diamond Tiara in tow.

That night Scootalioo recorded all the events of the day in her notebook. Scootaloo smiled with pride. As she close the notebook, Scotaloo looked over her new toy that her mother and farther had given her. It was a reproduction of a new type of emergency equipment that all pony police, fire and rescue unit would be issued. A Portable Interactive Program foreleg communicator. Also know as a PipBuck.
