Spike's new pet

         There was a knock at the door, flutter shy turned around with  a pink satin ribbon in her mouth. She was going to put a bow in angels hair but he kept moving. trying to get him to look nice for the play date with every pony that after noon. she was so MAD  that her face looked flustered. she peeked through the wooden door her big blue eyes peering through the door.

"fluttershy  do you mind if I come in" spike twirled his fingers waiting for her to welcome him  in. she  smiled and backed up so he could come in her ears were still  perked up. spike walked through the door passed flutter shy nervously the smell of her kitchen brought to his attention. the smell of fresh coffee filled the atmosphere making his mouth water. flutter shy's coffee was the best coffee in pony vile.

he relaxed a bit,  her home had a real relaxing feeling that made him feel actually at home. " Would you like some coffee" she questioned.

the dragon nodded as she closed the door behind him, flutter shy's  face was still red as a cherry " You look a bit flustered flutter shy" she blushed some more.

" well I um was trying to put this pink ribbon in angels hair but he kept moving , I just got so MAD! she whispered angrily trying not to yell.

He smiled at flutter shy and patted her on the head. spike looked up to flutter shy " I have something to ask " the two friends walked into the kitchen . angel hopped out the door frustrated " oh don't mind him" she said startled.

"he's just a bit angry" her eyes looked heavy.

spike sat down at her kitchen table , the chair squeaked as he sat down. " you really need to get these chairs replaced "

Fluttershy started humming .. the coffee pot started to form smoke up the top of it.  he smiled as she reached for two cups on the top cabinet.

" do you need some help" spike sat there watching fluttershy struggle to reach the two cups. " No, no I can do it plus you probally are tired from working all day, knowing twilight works you so hard" she managed to reach the cups.

"yeah im a bit tired" spike yawned and stretched his little arms in the air and relaxed into the chair.

Fluttershy smiled and started humming again as she poured the coffee into the two glazed coffee cups , spike observed every move she made . trying to figure out how she makes the coffee so good.

" so how do you make your coffee" he blushed at fluttershy " well a little sugar, love and care you will make a great cup of coffee"

she poured the cream into the two cups with exactly two sugar cubs fluttershy started to pick back up the tune she was humming . but very softly.

spike twirled his fingers again waiting patiently to finally taste flutter shy's coffee. his mouth started to water as she kept taking her time stiring the cups making sure everything mixed in just right.

she carried the cups in to the table and sat down " so what was the question you had spikey-wikey" smiling at him into her cup.

and slide his cup towards him he cuffed his hands and caught it.

" well  I um" he looked into the cup as steam came into his face , the smell of her coffee almost made him faint it smelled so amazing. he gulped nerviously fluttershy smiled .

" its just that every pony here in pony vile has a pet except for me " he wined. "REALLY!"  fluttershy said happily almost spilling her coffee  " you came to the right girl.

spike breathed out  "whew, I didn't want any pony to know what I was up to, to be honest I was a bit scared to tell any pony " he blushed.

      Fluttershy touched her hoove on his hand " Well your secrete is safe with me" she blushed.

"will you , help me out "

"EKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " she jumped up in the air !  "I um mean YAY! she said softly embarrassed by her childish excitement.

"great so you'll  help me " spike grinned as his lips touched the rim of the coffee . she nodded in return watching him enjoy the fresh coffee she made him.

the smooth liquid filled his thought  and soothed his body ableing  him to relax. "WOW fluttershy every pony was right your coffee is amazing " he sipped it slowly.

trying to make this moment last, he knew he would rarely get to have a cup of fluttershys famous coffee .

spike smiled as he finished off the last drop of his cup of Joe. while fluttershy still slowly finishing hers.

" well if its okay with twilight I could help you find the perfect , you know animal for you " her pink mane fell back down her face.  spike sat their for a moment of realization he didn't have any clue on  what he would want as a pet. matter of fact he didn't even have a name picked out for his new friend. " well I was something easy to take care of "

"right "  fluttershy nodded .

" something that will be easy to take care of" his eyes became droopy

"yes" she nodded again

"  I have tons of cute little animals you can come look out in my back yard " she blushed nervously pushing her bangs out of her face and tucking it behind her ear.

"well I need to ask permission first " fluttershy began to became a little  assertive " You will come into my back yard ! " she banged her hoove on the table .

"OH my I didn't mean to " she looked away spike looked scared " flutter shy "

she giggled lightly trying to hide the giggle

Spike got up from his seat feeling a bit light headed " I think I better get home I feel a bit funny " stumbling all over her wooden floor.

she smiled as she watched him stumble around " you pour thing"  spike danced dizzly around the floor .

the room spinning as he walked " I gotta get home" leaning against the wall trying not to fall.

fluttershy giggled watching him stagger his way out.
