Fire Fallen has a knack for chasing after the impossible. And to be titled the Fastest Flier in Equestria has just became number one priority on his to do list.

But there is more to races than just checkered flags and fast wings. It takes Training, Style, Connections, Fashion, and oddly enough, some Friends. But Fire isn't too sure of any of that when his buddy from forever ago, Cinnamon Whiff, tells him that he needs more friends to help him become the best.

But when his path becomes filled with obstacles like bad puns, a questionably handsome rivals, and a really tasty apple pie, maybe a few friends wouldn't be so bad?
