Trixie has been down on her luck lately. Ever since the Ponyville incident things have been going wrong. One thing has led to another and Trixie is out of money, out of food, and out of time in the rougher sections of Manehatten.

Herein starts the work of an alternate universe where certain immutable concepts like Death, Time, Fate, and Nature are explored as mortal ponies assume the offices vacated by their predecessors. Some vacancies are messier than others, and some offices unappealing no matter how necessary the duties are.

This is a parody, written as such with permission from Piers Anthony who authored the original Incarnations of Immortality series. This work is my ponified spin of On a Pale Horse.
