Being born into the Skyborn Elites, Matt is trained from his Feathering to fight, defend the Flock. But his heart isn't in that place, he just wants to be normal, to fit in. However, the U.S. government has made a decree, banning all Skyborns from America after a rogue Skyborn tried to kill the POTUS. Matt is soon faced with a decision, help the U.S. cure and get rid of the Skyborns, or fight for his kind. (I suck at writing descriptions, sorry)
