An Unexpected Arrival

Chapter 5

The Big Party

"Welcome back!"

Eric walked over to Pinkie, and hugged her.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." Pinkie said.

Pinkie hopped over to a present and unwrapped it.

Inside, was a note. "A note? Is there more to this or not?"

When Eric opened it, confetti shot out, which startled Eric at first.

He looked inside, and seen a letter. He opened it.

It said,

Dear Eric,

Thanks for taking good care of us. We love the care you've gave us.

Your great friends, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Spike.

Eric smiled even more. "Thank's, girls."

All of the ponies, including Spike, hugged Eric.

But Pinkie was crying happily. "I'm so happy!" She said while crying.

Eric laughed.

"You girls are the best friends I'd ever have."

Twilight flew over to him, and said, "You're the nicest person we'd ever met."

Eric thought, "I'll never forget you ponies..."

"Let's have cake!" Pinkie said, holding out a cake that came out of nowhere.

"Where'd she get that?"

But Eric went over, and ate the cake.

Also, they played some games like Pin The Pony on The Tail, Musical Chairs, and others.

Finally, they sat down. Rainbow Dash flew to the TV and turned it on.

Pinkie hopped over to the DVD's, and grabbed one of them.

They were watching one of Eric's My Little Pony DVD's. Sometime's, they laughed at funny moments.

"How come I didn't remember this?" Twilight said, talking about the one time Rainbow Dash smashed right into her, and landed in the mud.

Pinkie was the first to go to bed.

Pinkie Pie giggled her way to sleep.

Eric pulled the covers for Pinkie, who was already asleep.

"Sweet dreams, Pinkie."

A few days later.....

RING! RING! RING!

Eric picked up the phone in his room.

"Hello, Eric?" Jack called.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm going on vacation for awhile.."

Eric's jaw dropped. "I'll be back by the rest of this month."

"OK....I'll see you next month."

"Bye."

He hung up. He went downstairs, and saw a note.

It said,

Eric,

We've gone to the park for a walk.

See you later.

PS, we'll stay out of sight. Don't worry.

He was shocked. "If they're caught, it'll be my fault."

He ran to the park, and saw them. People were looking at them.

"What the heck?" One person thought.

They didn't talk, as that would make people scream out, "Oh my goodness!"

Eric ran over to them. "Don't worry! I'll make sure these ponies are out of here!" He said, sarcastically.

Eric led them out of the park, and said, "What where you thinking?"

"We decided to go outside, so I led my friends out here." Eric face-palmed.

They went back home. Eric was exhausted. "Phew, I'm tired." Eric went to sleep, but was awoken by, "Hi!"

Eric fell out of bed. "What the heck, Pinkie?"

"I just wanted to check on you."  Pinkie hopped back downstairs.

Eric knew that Pinkie hops instead of walking. Eric looked out the window, and saw Jack waving.

He held up a sign that said, MEET ME OUTSIDE.

"I thought Jack wasn't supposed to see me until next month. And he was going on vacation. "

Eric sighed, and went downstairs. He opened the door.

"What?"

"I've got news! My parents said you could come with me!" Jack said.

Eric's stomach began to churn.

"But..bu-" He said, before being interrupted.

Jack's smile became a frown. "I know, you've got something important."

"I can't let Jack down" Eric said to himself.

"Um, Jack?" Jack turned around.

"I'm sorry if I can't come."

Eric had to make sure not to tell him the truth. He had to choose either staying with the ponies, or go with Jack.

"Well, if you change your mi-"

"I'll go!"

Jack smiled. "I knew you would."

"Meet me back here."

Jack ran back.

A few minutes later...

Eric had told the ponies that he would be going with Jack.

"Here are the rules:

1. Don't call anybody

1. Don't go outside when you're in the hotel.

2. Don't even think about letting Pinkie do something bad.

and finally, 4. Don't get up while we're in the van.

"

Rainbow Dash flew to Eric, and said, "Why can't we do anything?"

"Do you want to be examined by white suited men?"

"No, sir."

"OK."

"Eric! I'm almost ready! Load some of my stuff in the van!"

Eric led the ponies into the van. "Can you girls take it in here?"

"I'm pretty sure we'll be okay." Twilight said.

Spike walked to the back. "I'll be okay, too." Spike said.

Jack walked outside, then his parents.

"Are you excited?" Jack said.

"Yes, I am."

They set off to the hotel.

"For tomorrow, we're going to the pool." Jack's mom said.

Both Eric and Jack cheered.

Rainbow Dash grunted. "How come we have to wait so long?" She whispered.

Suddenly, Jack's stomach grumbled.

"I'm hungry. Can we go get something to eat?"

Eric looked around, and saw the Mcdonald's sign.

They were in Nashville. "Hey! There's Mcdonald's!"

"Yay!" Jack cheered.

They drove to the fast food restaurant. "Stay right here." Eric said, as he got out of the van.

Later, they were back on the road. Sometimes, Eric would feed the ponies some fries.

When they got to the hotel, Jack's mom told Eric and Jack what they were going to do.

"After we go to the pool tomorrow, we're going home." She said.

Eric went to his room to unpack his stuff.

"*Phew* It's great to be out of that van!" Rainbow Dash said, relieved about being out of there.

"Now, now, Rainbow Dash, we're still gonna' be hidden from civilians." Applejack said.

"Yea, yea. I'll be sitting down on the couch." Rainbow Dash said.

Rainbow Dash sat on the couch, and yawned.

"Ooh! This hotel room has a HD TV!" Pinkie Pie said, being the party pony she is.

Eric sat down. He turned on the TV, and noticed that Spongebob was on.

"Watch this while I go sit in my bedroom." Eric said.

All the ponies sat down.

Later, Eric looked at his clock. "Uh oh. It's almost 8:00." Eric said.

Eric pulled up his covers, and fell asleep.

"Hopefully tomorrow will be better."
