Quilliam was not necessarily a special pony, he never asked for fame, or attention, or even really for very many friends.

He spent his days in peaceful solitude, writing, eating, sleeping, and occasionally rarely going out with the friends he had.

And then he decided to take a life-changing stroll on the beach, stumble upon some sort of mutant octopus-child, and take it home with him.


Whoa boy.
