The human gazed over the cliff's edge to the pool of water far, far below. He gulped. He had told Rainbow that he wanted to fly, but his biology forbade such a thing from occurring. He was, after all, a human being. His presence in Equestria was unique, and his arrival shrouded in mystery, but it had been a few months and he had made fast friends with the ponies in Ponyville eking a living as a jack-of-all-trades, and had found a happy niche.
"I don't know, Rainbow. Are you sure-"
"Yes!" Rainbow practically yelled. "Just jump and flap really, really hard. I'm sure it'll work out."
