one long trip

when I thinks of 'abbuse' or 'torture' ah thinks of beatings or mental tug of war. not what ah discovers onmah last day at sweet apple acrs.

  "im gonna go say bye to the girls and ah'll be back to pack it into the truck" i yell over mah shoulder at 'mac, who was throwing the last of the harvest into the barn for storage. "alrighty then, take your time sis." he calls as he goes back into the house, ah could tell today was gonna be a long day, expesially when ah got over to sugah cube corner.

When ah got to twilights library ah saw her, fluttershy, and rarity chatting up a storm about some romance book they read. when ah got close enough to say anything spike ran out and just threw his arms around mah waist, "Are you really leaving AJ?" ah look down at the young boy and sigh, "applebloom told ya huh? yea, just stopped by to say bye to yall." spike sniffed and turned to get the girls attention, which took him ripping twilight away from the other two to have them notice me. "hey girls...just stopped by to say this is mah last day in ponyville and i hope yall visit me out in appleloosa some time soon." the girls then swarmed me and started hugging me and saying bye n goodluck and whatnot. but they realized i had to find pinkie and dash to  tell them i was leaving.

when i found pinkie i was a little startled, mr n mrs cake where trying to get her to stand up because she apparently got a sudden jolt from pinkie sense and passed right on out. but ah got over she gasped in some air and shot up faster than a firework on lsd..."Applejack! i cant bealive your leaving, when i heard i was like *GGGGAAAAASSSSSPPPP* and then i fell over and began thinking you mightgethitbyacaroratrainorfalloffacliffor...or..." i put mah hands on her shoulders and reasured her i wasnt about to up and die or nothing. when she finally calmed down she hugged me and said bye...but when i left i heard her go and begin fixing the mess she mustave made.

then ah finally had possibly the hardest farewell out of the five...Dash...she has been mah friend since she came to ponyville and has never let me down on anything. and thats why ah felt so bad about leaving...as ah approached her door all i could hear was yelling, and then what ah assumed was stuff being thrown, when i knocked on the door, scootaloo answered it, "H-Hey AJ...right now's not a good time...um..."

"scoots, whats going on? wheres rainbow, and why is your father so pissed?" ah asked her in sorta a whisper.

"he gets like this sometimes...usually we just go out or stay in my room but today he seems to be expe-" before she could finish i heard rainbow scream and a loud clunk, i immediatly pushed pass scootaloo and saw her holding her head, her father was holding a empty bottle of whisky...and he seemed to be rearing up for another strike.

"What the hell are ya doin to her?" i yell at the drunkard when he throws the bottle at me, luckilly i move just in time to miss the bottle and advance on the man, he begins swinging and yelling slurs and swearing at me as ah grab his wrist and begin to slowly twist, hearing a satisfying crack and crunch from his left wrist, ah let go and he begins to yell in pain as he grips his now broken wrist, ah see rainbows mom standing in the hallway shaking worse then a dog who just heard twelve cannons go off.

"whats going on, and why is he assaulting mah friend?" ah ask her mom, she just kept shaking and seemed to be staring at the many bottles of whisky thrown about the living room, "Scoots, come here and help me!" i call for the little girl, she helps me drag rainbow out and put her in mah truck...when we begin to pull way ah see her father throw another bottle at the truck as we drive away. "what the FUCK was that scootaloo?" i yell.

"our father cant contain his alcohol and rainbow kinda pointed it out to him..." we then stayed silent all the way back to the farm, where ah had plans to get some more answers from the child.
