When I was a small filly under Princess Celestia's tutelage, she would often tell me stories, of a time before ponies were strong and magic covered the world. Stories of Discord's rise and of his eventual fall. I always thought that's all they were, just stories. But now I'm beginning to wonder… Nevertheless, true or not, here enclosed are the stories she told to me. Stories which I will treasure until the day I die.
