//-------------------------------------------------------// Revenge comes with Trust -by colors4712- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Where it all Starts! //-------------------------------------------------------// Where it all Starts!         'Can I have some books, Queen Celestia?' Twilight's question every time she comes to the castle. She keeps stealing all the good books. Well, not stealing, I guess getting would be the correct word.       Oh, I’m sorry. Let me introduce myself, I’m Speed Paint. Daughter of Queen Celestia, and Discord. Crazy combo, right? I look a lot more like my mother, than my father. I have a blonde mane and coat. My mane is straight.Medium length. Same with my tail. With a few different colors in it, like my mother’s.  But, it's not magically flowing. The colors are, light pink, light baby blue, light green, and light purple. Theres one stripe of a color. But, my mane is more of highlights, than all together.I have light blue eyes. My cutie mark is a light pink heart with a blue stitch trim inside. Then a another outer white trim. My cutie mark stands for creativity. I guess that explains the stitching, you know, ‘cause when you stitch things, you create things? Because, my cutie mark stands for creativity? I’ll just shut up now.      Anyways, I’m a Pegasus. I have the wings of Aunt Luna, which I probably got from her.  I’m nothing special. My wings don’t make me special, well, maybe, but I mean the type of wings. It’s just a heritage thing. I have no sisters or brothers, But I do have a cousin. My Cousin Cadence, she's the ruler of the Crystal Empire. Did you know I was born there? I guess not. Anyway, I live in Canterlot with my mother, and my Aunt Luna.     I’m never allowed out of the castle. My mother thinks I’m going to destroy Equestria or something, like my Aunt Luna did when she was my age. Pff, Me? Destroy  my Home? No, NO ,No. No.    Besides, how can a teen Pegasus destroy Equestria?  I guess my mother is over-protective. But, my question is over-protective of me, or the land?    Ugh, Who cares. I love my mom, but sometimes, I think she likes Twilight more than me. I’m not trying to be selfish, I just can’t loose my mom like I lost my father.    I can’t.    “Speed Paint!” I suddenly lost my thoughts when Twilight Yelled my name. She was gently trotting up towards me. I grunted and faked a smile.   “Twilight! How are you?” I asked, not really caring. She nodded catching up to me. We were in the library. I like to come here when I have a lot to think about. Apparently, I’m not the only one who loves the library.   “I’m great! You?” She asked with a warming smile. I didn’t buy it.     “I am fantastic! Thank you! SO, what brings you hear to the castle?” She didn’t hesitate and went right with the answer.     “Well, Usually, I would ask Princess-I mean Queen Celestia for some new books if she had any. But, I came for you.” She said sitting down next to me. “M-Me?” I stuttered. Twilight nodded. “Why?” I ask in complete surprise. Twilight should hate me!    “Well, My friends and I we’re wondering if you wanted to come with us to the Crystal Empire? It would mean so much to us. Plus, I’ve seen how great you are at flying. They have some races there too, I bet you and Rainbow Dash could give it a try. Oh, Please? C’mon Speed Paint! I haven't seen you anywhere else besides this castle.” Twilight said with a huge smile. I gave out a small ‘huff’. “I can ask my mother, but don’t get your  hopes high, Twilight.” I told her. She gave out a high pitch squeal, and jumped up and down.   “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She kept saying. I couldn't help but smile. Truth was, I really wanted to explore Equestria, So this sounded like fun to me. Besides, The Crystal Empire is where I was born, and the only place I ever visited. Like, Ever.   She galloped out of the room shouting, “Thank you, Thank you, Thank You, Speed Paint!” I trotted out of the library and heard the door close down Stairs. “Wow, she is fast. I wonder why she doesn't use her wings.” I said to myself.   “Indeed, she should. Just imagine yourself with a luxurious horn.” I spun around and saw my graceful, Aunt Luna, Standing there. Her perfect glowing mane gently flowing in perfect harmony. “Aunt Luna!” I joyfully trotted over to her. She nuzzled my muzzle and I smiled.”Can I be honest with you?” I asked  her. She nodded. “Well, I have two questions actually.” I told her. “Go ahead, Speed Paint.” She told me with a warming nod. “Well, 1st, do you think Mother will let me go to the  Crystal Empire with Twilight and her friends?” I ask with a hopeful grin. Aunt Luna put a hoof to her lip;gesturing she's thinking. “To be honest, I can’t be positive. She might since it’s Twilight Sparkle. Then again, she  might not,it’s very dangerous at the Crystal Empire. But, Cadence and Shining Armor are there, so maybe. Theres a 50 to 50 chance.” She told me lowering her hoof back to the ground. “Ooh, Yay!” I cheered and ran down stairs, made a left to the hall, past the spa, and straight into the gorgeous throne room. Where my mother sat proud on her throne signing things with her lucky quill. She used her magic, of course. My mother uses her magic all the time. I don’t think she could survive being a Earth Pony.   “Mom?!” I ask her running towards her. “Yes, dear?” She asks not looking up. “I was wondering,” I ask and looked at the ground. I took a deep breath. “I was wondering if I could go to the Crystal Empire with Twilight and her friends? Please, mom! Theres going to be seven of us. Besides, Cadence and Shining Armor will be there! Oh please, Mommy!” I begged. I got on my knees.”Please?” I ask with puppy dog eyes. My mom looked away from her signing. She raised a brow. “Twilight Sparkle? And Her friends?” My mom asked. I nodded quickly. “Hmm,” She lowered her eyebrow. “The Crystal Empire?” She asked. I nodded quickly once again. “Promise to write to me everyday, and tell Cadence where your going? And stay with Twilight at ALL times?” My mom asked.   “Oh, Yes Mother! Of course! Absolutely! I promise on your name!” I agreed. My mother let out a small huff. “Fine, but I’m packing with you.” She said and lowered her signing papers. I squealed with glee. “Wait, how long?” My mom asked getting down from her throne. “Twilight never mentioned. She also didn't say when we will  be leaving!” I said walking with my mother. “It’s Fine, While you’re packing, I’ll just write her a letter. In fact, I’ll just write it now.” My mother told me. All of the sudden, a letter and quill appeared. My mother began writing. We walked out of the throne room. My mother writing away.We walked up the stairs and into my room. My room was a pretty good size. I had four stairs that walk up to my bed. Like a loft you could say. My bed is full sized with  a silk thin blanket on top with a large print of my cutie mark on it. Underneath the silk sheet was a cozy white cotton blanket. My feather filled pillows gently laid on top of my made covers. Under neath what was more of a loft and second-story bedroom thing was a plain white couch. It had ruffles on the bottom and two pillows on each side. It had a large see through window behind it. To the left of my room was the bathroom. It just had a stall shower and a porcelain throne, as my mother likes to call it, and a sink; with all my shampoos and conditioners and that stuff. My walls were purple, white, light pink, and light baby blue. Not really royal, I know, but I’m not really that royal.   “Hey Mom, Can you ask if my friends can come?” I ask.    She raised an eyebrow, but kept writing the letter. “Okay, Darling.” She told me. “Yay! Thanks Mommy!” I told my mom. I got out a small bag with my cutie mark on the front. “All I need is some quills and paper. Could you get them for me, Please?” I ask my mother. “Hold on, Darling.” She said. Her magical floating quill writing gently on the scroll. Suddenly, the quill stopped and the scroll rolled up and disappeared. “Okay, What is it darling? Quills and Scrolls?” My mother asked as she went to my drawers. Her horn glowed a golden yellow and my top drawer pulled open. Several quills and scrolls lifted up. My Mother walked back over to me, and placed the supplies in my bag. I closed the bag. “Good?” I ask my mom. She smiles. “Good.”
