Chapter 1
Not too long ago, there was a young Unicorn filly in Canterlot.
Unfortunately for her she was the only one in her class to lack a cutie mark, this led her to be the target of bullying by her class mates. At first the bullying was the occasional "blank-flank" retort but over time it grew and grew, they would call her "blank flank" more and more and resort to physical violence against her.
All this time she never told anyone what was happening, she kept it bottled inside, never showing the way she truly felt about it and would just nervously laugh when they pushed her and called her "blank-flank". Her parents would wonder why she was always such a recluse, why she wouldn't ever have friends over or go see friends.
One day she went to a local clothes shop and bought a cape to cover up her flank and hide the lack of a cutie mark, and a large hat to cover her face, unfortunately this didn't help at all as the bullies kept going even at the times when she ran away crying, tripping her as she ran so they could mock her further.
This went on until eventually, she had had enough, she decided to sneak into Celestia's castle at night and climbed to the very top.
She went to the very edge and looked down, said to herself "it'll all be over soon", took a deep breath. And jumped.
It didn't take long for her to realize that she had made a huge mistake, that she didn't want to die. So she started to panic.
In her panic she did something she would never be able to do normally, and likely wouldn't be able to do it again, she managed to teleport into the castle safely and land unharmed.
She was alive but she realized that she would still be bullied, she had to get away from Canterlot as soon as possible, so she went on the run.
It wasn't until hours later when she took her cape off to use as a blanket that she saw something she had never seen on herself before, she had her cutie mark.
Her previous experiences with being bullied for being a "talentless blank-flank" drove her to show off her cutie mark and her talent.
She went from town to town doing a small stage show to showcase her talent and make some money on the side.
This filly's name was: Trixie Lulamoon.
