Spike lit the fireplace. It was an overcast, chilly day with a solid breeze sweeping through Ponyville's streets, which, given the weather, weren't exactly crowded. Outside the window, Lily could be seen galloping past, likely in a spontaneous fit of fear. Nothing out of the ordinary.
"Ah, thank you, Spike", said Princess Twilight, trotting down the stairs to the library's main room, pulling a microscope, a bottle of red cabbage juice, and a slew of other tools in a wisp of telekinesis behind her. Hastily placing the equipment onto the central table, she dropped a file onto the floor. "Could you pick that up, Spike? I still need to get Aloun Stone's Alchemical Almanac from the chemistry section."
"Will do, Twilight...", he sighed, picking it up and placing it on the table. "And you're sure we do this today?"
"What was that, Spike?", Twilight called out while skimming over a shelfsworth of backs of books- "Ah, there it is..." She returned to the main room, putting down the book next to the carefully arranged equipment, before nudging it around a bit. She needed to make a good first impression, after all.
"Oh, nevermind, it wasn't important. So when are they coming?"
"I told them to come within the next-", Twilight shot an eye to the cuckoo clock on the wall, "thirteen minutes. I am so excited! Not many get a specimen from the Crystal Empire to research, you know."
"I know, Twi, you have told me about 43 times."
"Sorry, Spike. It's just such a grand occasion. Besides-"
At that moment, the door opened, and a sparkling, minty green Crystal Pony with a fleur de lys as a cutie mark entered. Her long wine red mane flowed smoothly along her neck, almost reaching the floor. In her mouth, she carried a strung package, clearly trying to keep its contents unharmed.
"Ah, welcome, perfect timing! Fragile, I take it?"
"Mmpffhm", the visitor mumbled, looking for a place to put it down.
Twilight flared up her horn. "I got it, you can let go."
"Pfeh. Thank you, your Highness. It is an honor, and please excuse my inadequate entrance." She bowed before Twilight.
"Oh, no need for that, and let's dispense with the 'Your Highness' as well. After this, I'm sure you'll call me many other things than that. Either way, I'm glad you're here. What's your name, anyways?"
"My name is Jade, your Highness." She rose again. "I want to use this moment to thank you for all you have done for us, Princess. Providing a specimen is the least all of the Crystal Empire could do." She trotted closer as Twilight opened the package carefully, pulling out a polished black casket. "We have taken every precaution imaginable to preserve it in as isolated condition as possible. Best regards from the Imperial Mineralogic Society, by the way", added Jade.
"Isolated?", asked Twilight, lighting up at the term, as if she remembered something. "In that case, we better take this down to the laboratory. It even has sound proofing! Oh, by the way, this is my assistant Spike. He will help us out in between", she added, nodding with her head towards her Dragon assistant.
"Er... yes, pleased to meet you, Spike!"
Leading the way downwards, Twilight started a bit of small talk. "So how was the train ride? Any hiccups at all, can I offer you something?"
"Oh, no need, your Highness, thank you for your concern."
"Alright then. How's it going in the Empire anyways?" She carefully placed the casket on a table.
"Well, normal, I suppose. There is a lot of preparation for the Equestria Games going on, of course, so everypony is a bit on edge these days. The crystal heart is almost vibrating, so excited are things!"
"That sounds like we're in for a wonderful event." Twilight looked around, and noticed the fatal flaw immediately. "Oh shoot, I forgot the equipment above. I'll be right back in a minute. Why don't you take a seat over there while I prepare things." As the Princess left upwards, Jade trotted over to the comfortable bench and plopped herself down. Since the Princess offered, and likely the equipment would take a while, no point in standing around like furniture.
"So Spike, was it? How come you are the Princess' assistant?"
"Eh well, I was given to her as an egg for an exam, which she totally aced, and then I more or less stuck around ever since", he said nonchalantly, as the alicorn went the stairs up and down to get all the tools. "What about you, Jade? Any family over in the Crystal Empire?"
"Well...", Jade turned her head a little, "not really. I guess my family managed to flee the Empire back then." She smiled. "It's all right though. Everypony in their right mind would've done so. And it worked out for me in the end, too."
"That's good to hear!", Spike exclaimed. "Well, I better help her with the equipment. Be right back!" He went upstairs and cheerfully nodded his head at Twilight.
Having placed the tools on a small movable table, Twilight came trotting up towards Jade, who was about to stand up from her comfy resting place.
"Oh Jade, stay down for a bit – we're in no hurry. I would be a terrible host if I didn't offer anything in return, so let's enjoy ourselves for a moment."
"Well, since you're offering, Princess..."
"Of course I am. Actually, I have a brilliant idea to make you more comfortable! Have you ever had a hooficure? My friend Rarity has them regularly, she always says it's so relaxing afterwards. They are, as she always puts it, to die for."
"No, I haven't, actually. I haven't had much chance to try this whole wellness thing out.
"Then it's settled! Wait right here, and give me just a little moment..." Twilight cantered off for a cabinet and started to rummage through it's contents. "No... No... Neither that...", she mumbled to herself. "Spike! Where are the- oh wait, I found it."
She returned to Jade with a smile on her face and a tin tray in her telekinetic field.
"I haven't done this often, though.", she explained. "I hope you don't mind."
Jade didn't really mind, but found it all odd nonetheless. "Your Highness, I couldn't possibly accept that from you. We could go to the local spa, that would be completely suf-"
"Nonsense! It'll just be a step towards becoming friends. Besides, the weather would make any of that pretty pointless." She levitated the tray over. "Now, are you sitting comfortably?", she asked with a friendly smile. Jade nodded. "Very good. Let us begin. Also, Spike, get a cup of that tea upstairs, please." The purple dragon nodded and promptly ran upstairs, while Twilight took one of Jade's hooves and held it firmly. "Are you ready?", Twilight asked, as she pulled over the last item she'd need: a file. "Well, I guess..." No need to make this complicated, after all. Something felt only slightly off though, and Jade just couldn't put her hoof on it.
"Alright, this'll feel a bit funny at first, but I'm sure you're gonna like it! Are you ready?"
Jade smiled. "Sure!"
Carefully, Twilight approached Jade's first hoof with the file. Putting on a serious face in concentration, she slowly touched down and began filing, ever so carefully, back and forth. Jade couldn't stifle a giggle.
"Ooh, that tickles!"
"Should I stop?" Twilight shot Jade an inquiring look off the file still working its magic. Jade smiled in reply and sighed a relaxed "No, it's good."
The file, however, was a fairly rough one, not that Jade could tell. The steady, regular motion back and forth over the tip produced very fine crystal dust, which got collected in the tray. In the meantime, Spike had returned with a cup of tea, its odor permeating the air along his path.
"One cuppa tea for our guest, just as ordered."
Jade took the aroma with a long breath in. "Thank you, Spike. It smells lovely, what is it?"
"Oh, it's just a mixture of some herbs, perfect for relaxing. Take a sip, I can give you some of it on your way back if you like", said Twilight, and switched from filing the first hoof to the second.
"I would like that very much, Princess." Jade took a careful sip of tea, and once it turned out the temperature wasn't going to burn her tongue, she took another, more deliberate one. Twilight was right, the hooficure was delightful.
"So...", began the Alicorn, "do you read any books?"
"Actually, I have recently started reading Blank Fear. I think she's become one of my favourite authors already!"
Twilight smirked. "Fear, huh? So you're into horror?"
"Absolutely. I always read some before going to bed."
"Which one are you reading right now?"
"'The Red Shard'. It's apparently part of a series, and-", Jade yawned, averting her head and holding a hoof in front of her muzzle. "-sorry about that. Anyways, it's about this splinter of red glass, and everypony who's ever ended up with it has turned crazy and done horrible things, like poison-", another long and heartfelt yawn escaped her, this time not even trying to obscure it, "-other ponies. So this doctor then starts investigating when he has a patient rambling about this Red Shard."
"Sounds like quite the tale. And like you're a bit tired."
"Please excuse me. Between the train ride and the weather outside, all this relaxation seems to make me a bit sleepy."
Twilight shook her head, trotting behind Jade to take care of her hind hooves. "It's all right. Like I said, we're in no hurry. Besides, I don't often entertain guests in here outside of my friends." Eyeing Jade's backside with a smile, she levitated both the file and the tray to her and began working her magic. And with the rough file grinding back and forth, carefully smoothing the Crystal Pony's edges and reducing anything tarnishing the ideal form to a fine dust, Jade dozed off.
"Alright, Spike, we have about an hour and a half, as long as we don't wake her up. Now get that tray ready, and don't touch the dust!"
"Yes, Twilight...", Spike sighed and carefully carried the tray to the lab table, eyeing the fine particles intently, while Twilight cast her magic to move Jade from her rest to a padded table with leather cuffs, splaying her over it with fore- and hindlegs spread out. The green mare shuffled a bit, but remained asleep. Taking great care, lest the Crystal Pony woke up, Twilight tightened the belts around all of Jade's hooves, her neck and her barrel.
"OK, nice and tight. Is the microscope ready?", said Twilight.
"Of course, Twi; everything is ready."
"Good. Let's see here..." The Alicorn scooped up a bit of the dust and viewed it through the microscope. "Huh, this is... interesting...", she began to mumble, rotating the particles under the lens to get a view from all sides. "It's definitely crystal, but I can't find any obvious pattern. Are they amorphous?" Twilight exerted pressure on one of the bigger particles. It yielded and deformed.
"Water", she ordered.
Spike got a pipette of water and let some of it drip onto the sample. "Wait, they actually dissolve? Spike, get a paper ready with the cabbage juice!"
After a long and extensive materials study, Twilight sighed as she looked at the clock. "I guess that's it for now. I've dissolved it, tested it's pH, burnt it, melted it, licked and sniffed it. Did you note everything down?"
"Sure, Twilight, here!", said the dragon and held out the notebook for review.
"Excellent. We still have some left, but I think it's got some side effects, so please wait some more before you help yourself. I best get ready for our guest to wake up."
A glaring light awoke Jade abruptly, who winced in a start. Her hooves were tied up, so she turned her head and blinked to get some vision. What was going on? Where was she? Fear jolted up her back.
"Ah, you are awake. Rise and shine, Jade, and welcome back." said a cold, but familiar voice, as her rest pitched her to about 45 degrees. Her eyes finally making sense again, she saw her host, Princess Twilight, smirking at her with a flaring horn.
"W-What is this? What happened, Princess?"
"I told you, hold the 'Princess'. We're so close, after all, aren't we?" With a calculating gaze Twilight sized her up. "Now you are probably wondering what all this is about. I will tell you, soon enough. Up until then, we are going to have some fun, enjoy ourselves, and we'll learn so much about each other!" She looked into her eyes with enthusiasm, though something was off. Jade got a sense of déjà vu. What was it?
"In any case, we're going to continue your hooficure."
"Th-then why am I tied down? Why any of all this? Princess, I'm scared!" Something was rising in Jade. This didn't bode well, at all.
"Oh, we are just going to be a bit more thorough." A thin, predatory grin spread over her face, and from the corner of her eye Jade could see the file hovering to her left foreleg. "Much more thorough." She climbed over Jade, pressing a hoof into her chest. "And I'll teach you to call me Princess."
A sharp pain jolted through her as the file stabbed against her hoof, and began scraping much more forceful and vigorous than earlier. Only now she realized how rough this thing actually was, as it razed away at a painfully slow pace. Another scrape. And another. "Ow!" Jade began to whimper from the pain, as each stroke chipped splinters away, some the size of sesame seeds.
Terror formed in the Crystal Pony, unsure of what would happen. It may not have been the despair Sombra inspired, but this was terrifying. The Alicorn only smiled at her.
"W-why are you doing this? Stop it, please, it hurts!" Tears streamed down her face liberally, both from fear and pain alike. However, the file's strokes only became more intense, and she struggled helplessly against her restraints, trying to break free from this ordeal.
Suddenly, the file stopped. Her left forehoof left pulsing in pain, badly scratched and cracked, her fear turned to anger.
"Are you out of your mind? This really hur-" A hoof to her mouth stopped the exclamation, while the other traced a circle over her chest.
"And I'm very sorry for that. I hope you can forgive my curiosity. You see, the taste test proved... inconclusive.", said Twilight, closing in on her face and giving her cheek a slow lick. Smacking a bit, and taking up a pensive look for a moment, she caressed Jade down the side of her barrel. The file levitated from her hoof under her chin, the cold metal sliding across her neck.
"I have to admit, it's a real shame to do this to such a beautiful mare." Her eyes. "With such a shapely body." Celestia, her eyes. "I am going to enjoy this so very much, though."
Again, the file moved. Scraping, ever so slowly, along her neck, sending a cold, fearful shiver down the bound pony's withers and spine after the other, across her chest, belly, and suddenly taking off and stabbing the padded table between her hindlegs, causing Jade to twitch from the sound, and the tingling sensation of the magic field between her hindlegs. She let out a suppressed, painful moan. Her foreleg was killing her.
"Twilight, please let me go! What did I do to deserve this?!"
"Oh, nothing at all, Jade. It isn't about what you deserve or not." She moved her foreleg further down, to her groin, and began rubbing, eliciting a quiet yelp from Jade with the unexpected touch. "It's just about what I want."
"T-this is crazy. You are crazy! Hn-ah!"
Twilight took up a much more sultry smirk. "Am I, though? After all the fun time we had so far?" She climbed closer, nuzzling Jade in the neck, breathing hot air through her nostrils. "You'll see me be quite affectionate with you." Another lick, from the base of her throat across the leather belt acting as her collar to the chin, paralyzed the Crystal Pony while Twilight continued her lower assault. "I like that taste."
She lowered herself and bit the file, pulling it out the table. "An' hyou'll hike his", she said and began, carefully, to caress Jade's already moist nethers with the jagged cold metal edges, causing her to shiver as the anticipated pain didn't come. Suddenly, she noticed. "Where's Spike? Spike! Spiiike! Anypony, help me!", Jade began to shout, nay, scream at the top of her lungs in hopes somepony would hear her. The sudden shout startled Twilight, knocking the file into the inside of Jade's hindleg, causing her to pipe down.
"Now, we don't shout here. It's pointless, too – I told you, sound proofing, remember? Spike is upstairs and takes care of the library, while I'm here. Need to remain operational for the ponies who are here to read, right?" Again, she smiled. This cold, uncaring smile. "You're enjoying this, aren't you? Maybe it's time to switch things around, then."
The file levitated, again. Again her left forehoof, still throbbing in pain. The touch of metal sent what felt like agonizing electric pulses from her hoof throughout her whole body, causing her to twitch uncontrollably in her restraints. This time, however, Twilight wasn't torturing her with the long, sudden strokes from earlier, which seemed to take an eternity and a half. This time, Twilight went vigorously, rapidly to work, razing the hoof millimeter by millimeter in wild and barely-controlled strikes, splintering off several pieces and reducing more yet to mere dust.
"AAAaaaaaahhh!" screamed Jade, from deep inside, never had she been in so much pain. Not even King Sombra had ever done anything like this. What was it that Twilight wanted? She could just ask, she'd give it gladly, just to end this as soon as possible! The tears streamed freely, soiling the padded table, tracing around her line and dripping to the floor. And to top it all off, she still was heated up from Twilight's ministrations a mere minute earlier. And the pain! She couldn't possibly scream enough to bear it all.
The file had stopped, minutes ago, leaving a stump of her leg still bound to the table. It was rough and jagged, cracked and scratched. Jade couldn't tell. She didn't even notice the assault on her hoof had been interrupted. There was only pain, even more so when she tried to bend her fetlocks, gone as they were. The purple mare closed in again, inspecting her work. Having sniffed up a bit of the dust that stuck to the table, Twilight sneezed, snapping Jade back to attention.
"Does that actually hurt?", she said, pressed her muzzle against the stump and gave it a short lick. Jade spasmed in her bonds, as the now wet stump reminded her in clear terms of what had transpired.
"Nghaaah!" Another scream, almost primal, escaped her.
"Huh, works like intact. No bones, no blood. Curious." Twilight's comment went practically unnoticed. "I think I'll help you relieve some."
Flaring up her horn, Twilight rotated the table back into the horizontal. A short "ha" escaped her, as she climbed over the Crystal Pony, now severely lacking her shine, and closed with her forehead, horn still flaring, towards her nethers.
The stimulation was a welcome, if unsatisfactory distraction from the horrid disfigurement, and Jade's body merely reacted, shivering in anticipation of what might sooner or later be a stallion. A sudden gasp, much louder and uncontrolled than needed, cut through the air as the tingling horn entered her folds. Twilight was penetrating. This part felt more familiar, even if she couldn't recall ever having had such contact. However, she couldn't remember most of what was before the Return.
"Ah..."
Twilight thrusted, giggling as she toyed with the mare on the table, hers to do with whatever she pleased. Her horn, already delicately sensitised by her magic, fed back into her pleasure as Jade was helplessly driven to a climax she couldn't help but approach, as waves of confusing feelings, including pain, fear and pleasure, washed through her in an unsteady dissonance, which already had her on edge. Moaning and panting with each thrust, she tried bucking her hips against the motion to finally reach the point, her restraints preventing her from doing so.
"AAAaaahh!" With a long, drawn-out moan, coming from the deepest of her heart, she finally came, eyes clenched in both pain and relief, drooling out of the corner of her mouth. Her chest rising and sinking with each breath, she gasped for air, only to fall back into uncontrolled, painful moans as the pain from her left foreleg returned with a vengeance.
"Now that you've had your fun", Twilight began, giving her lips a quick lick, "it's time for me to enjoy myself, don't you think?" Levitating a towel over to clear the moisture of Jades orgasm off her forehead, she then moved into a more comfortable position. "You'll take care of my horn, won't you?"
Still heaving, Jade extended her tongue. This was her ticket to freedom. Surely, if she did well, she'd get out of this nightmare! Her tongue touched the tingling surface of Twilight's horn, eliciting a delighted sigh from the princess. "Mh... just like that, yes..."
She closed her lips around the appendage, he hot breath wavering, and began to suckle ever so slightly. "Hmm... You can do better than that...", Twilight moaned.
Jade's sucking became much more vigorous, slobbering all over her horn and snorting wildly, eager to please Twilight as well as possible to finally be released. She coiled her tongue around her horn, tracing the groove spiralling around it, and bobbed her head for added stimulation. The magic numbed her mouth, made her task all the more arduous as she slowly lost all feeling in her tongue. However, it seemed to work.
Twilight writhed in pleasure, rubbing herself against the bound mare as she drowned in a symphony of moans. Jade's mouthwork inched her closer and closer to the edge.
"A-aaah, d-don't stop, just l-like that, yes! Yes! Yes! More!"
Finally, the floodgates opened. Twilight trembled from the electrifying feeling as she moaned furiously. Her horn, slick and wet from the treatment, flared up in a magic discharge that washed through Jade's head, stunning her for a moment. The two mares, returning to conscience, had a short breather together. Twilight smiled.
"Well, I guess it's time to end this."
Jade lit up, she'd finally be able to return to some degree of normalcy. Perhaps she could have her hoof healed, given enough time. She barely cared for Twilight Sparkle, she'd just go back and live her life undisturbed, she would keep her mouth shut if it was the price for her freedom and peace. Jade began to laugh. She didn't care if it wasn't appropriate, or even reasonable. Twilight even giggled along, and both mares laughed and laughed, the ordeal was over.
Suddenly, she noticed the small mallet Twilight had produced, homing in on a chisel held above her right knee in slow motion. Time seemed to stop as her utter relief was about to be shattered, just as her forearm was about to, and the pure unadultered primal terror returned. It wasn't even about the pain any more, she barely even minded the anguish her jagged foreleg caused her any longer.
The mallet contacted the chisel.
She wouldn't get out. Nothing she'd ever do would possibly lead to her release. However long Twilight decided to keep her alive, it would only ever be an eternity of agony and terror. And it didn't even take an evil king's force and power to do this.
The chisel stabbed through her knee, shattered her leg and launched a nasty crack growing along it, as a piece the size of a billards ball broke free from the impact. "GAAAAH!", came the scream, more forceful than any other this day, not that it helped at all, as the chunk of crystal fell to the ground with a loud and resounding thud, which echoed through Jade's head.
"Oh, put a sock in it.", said Twilight, and brought the chisel to the side of her barrel.
Twilight was sitting by the fireplace, reading 'The Red Shard' by Blank Fear, and had a nice chat with Rarity, who visited the library for a change of scenery. Spike sat with them, munching contently on a shiny green rock.
"...but I must admit, Twilight, this new figure here is lovely, it looks so full of life, even though it's a bit on the crude side, but it's well finished!", said Rarity, eyeing said piece, a statue of a rearing pony, made of a green mineral, with delight.
"Yes, I think it actually adds to the piece. I think it's made of Jade."
Rarity huffed. "Nonsense, this is quite clearly crystal! Where did you get it, anyways?"
"It was sent with regards from the Imperial Mineralogic Society in the Crystal Empire, only a few days ago." Twilight said happily.
"How awfully kind of them. It is a real piece of art, promise me you'll take good care of it", insisted Rarity.
Jade only watched, as she listened the two mares talk. It was all the statue could ever have done, and would ever do, for the rest of her days. A small tear formed and ran across her cheek, but it went unnoticed by the alabaster pony in the room. Having given up all hope, Jade simply resigned.
The End
Author's Note
Part of a story exchange sharing the writing prompt "Twilight intentionally and systematically physically disassembles a Crystal Pony".
My first time writing both clop and gore, the latter of which I usually loathe and avoid at all cost. Yes, I am aware of the similarities between this story and the infamous baking story involving Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash.
However, this is also the first story I have actually ever finished, so maybe there's a reason to celebrate?
Either way, feedback is sincerely appreciated.
