Applejack sat sobbing uncontrollably in front of the two graves. The names of her parents were engraved on the front. Her mane stuck to her face from the rain that poured down. She sat not knowing what to do now. Her life had seemed to lose all meaning. Her parents had been her life, and now they had been taken from her. Granny Smith walked up to the sobbing filly. She hugged her tightly.

"It ain't fair!" she screamed.

"I know it ain't Applejack but . . . you got to move on" Granny replied quietly.

"How can you say that?! It's all my fault their gone!" She cried.

"Applejack it was an accident. Accidents happen all the time" Granny said, tears pouring down her face.

"If I hadn't walked on that bridge . . . they wouldn't have followed me . . . and it wouldn't have broke!" she sobbed.

"I know, I understand Applejack" Granny said.

"No you don't! It should have been me that fell! Not mama and daddy!" she screamed.

"Applejack! You have me and Bic Mac, we can't go on in life without you" Granny cried.

"Remember you have Apple Bloom to look after, she's only a baby and she don't understand" Granny said.

Applejack said nothing. Granny led her hesitantly out of the graveyard. They slowly came to the gates of the graveyard. Big Macintosh stood tears in eyes, waiting for them. They all quickly yet quietly, headed back to Sweet Apple Acres. All of them walked in silence as they headed through the doorway of the kitchen. Applejack went upstairs and removed her small black dress. She went to her little sisters crib side. Apple Bloom snored softly, but seemed uncomfortable in her sleep. Applejack pulled the blanket up on her. Apple Bloom snuggled into the blanket, getting more comfortable. Applejack smiled at her baby sister. She wiped away many remaining tears on her face. "I'll always be here for ya little sis" Applejack said quietly. She slowly crawled into bed, and rolled onto her side. She knew she wouldn't be able to sleep, but was happy her little sister could.
