//-------------------------------------------------------// Healing The Apple -by Chocolate Pony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Meet, Time Turner //-------------------------------------------------------// Meet, Time Turner Apple Bloom looked at Applejack, who looked a little bit pale. She didn't know who the hay this stallion was. "H-Howdy their Turner" Applejack finally stuttered. "Same to you Applejack" he said with a smile. Apple Bloom looked him over. He wore a blue suit, red tie, and pair of black eye glasses. He wasn't bad looking to be honest. "Your in town kinda early to be selling pies, don't ya think?" he asked. "Well gotta keep the family business going, ya know" she responded. Apple Bloom looked from one pony to the other. She could tell and feel the tension of the moment. She decided to intervene. "Well howdy their, I'm Apple Bloom" she said, walking up to the stallion. "You must be Applejack's sister, correct?" he asked. He got on his front knees to the filly's level. She nodded. "I see ya know my big sister." He nodded back. "We met a ways back, a long ways back" he said, looking at Applejack. She blushed slightly. "Your name is, what now?" Apple Bloom asked suddenly. "Names Time Turner, pleased to meet you" he said. "Nice to meet you too" she responded. "Ya new around here?" "I've been here many times before" he answered. He looked at the watch he was wearing. "Well I better skedaddle, got to meet Princess Celestia" he said. "Ya know the Princess!!" Apple Bloom cried in shock. "Now don't bother him Apple Bloom" Applejack said. "It's alright. And yes I do, I'm friends with the royal family" he said smiling. He said his final goodbyes to the two sisters, and left. Applejack and Apple Bloom managed to sell 25 pies. They did it all in 5 hours. It was 10:00 when they had started and now it was 3:00. Applejack and Apple Bloom packed up the cart and headed off. "How do ya know that Time Turner fella?" Apple Bloom asked. Applejack sighed. "I met him a little after Mama and Papa died" she said. "Really?" Apple Bloom asked surprised. Applejack nodded. "He came to our parents funeral. The years went by and he just kept showing up. He really helped me to keep going" Applejack said quietly. The rest of the walk home was silent. Apple Bloom kept thinking about what her sister had said. She thought back to the conversation Turner and Applejack had had. Something clicked in her head. "It looks like I might have a way to cheer up Applejack" Apple Bloom quietly said to herself. //-------------------------------------------------------// Two Dead Apple's //-------------------------------------------------------// Two Dead Apple's Applejack sat sobbing uncontrollably in front of the two graves. The names of her parents were engraved on the front. Her mane stuck to her face from the rain that poured down. She sat not knowing what to do now. Her life had seemed to lose all meaning. Her parents had been her life, and now they had been taken from her. Granny Smith walked up to the sobbing filly. She hugged her tightly. "It ain't fair!" she screamed. "I know it ain't Applejack but . . . you got to move on" Granny replied quietly. "How can you say that?! It's all my fault their gone!" She cried. "Applejack it was an accident. Accidents happen all the time" Granny said, tears pouring down her face. "If I hadn't walked on that bridge . . . they wouldn't have followed me . . . and it wouldn't have broke!" she sobbed. "I know, I understand Applejack" Granny said. "No you don't! It should have been me that fell! Not mama and daddy!" she screamed. "Applejack! You have me and Bic Mac, we can't go on in life without you" Granny cried. "Remember you have Apple Bloom to look after, she's only a baby and she don't understand" Granny said. Applejack said nothing. Granny led her hesitantly out of the graveyard. They slowly came to the gates of the graveyard. Big Macintosh stood tears in eyes, waiting for them. They all quickly yet quietly, headed back to Sweet Apple Acres. All of them walked in silence as they headed through the doorway of the kitchen. Applejack went upstairs and removed her small black dress. She went to her little sisters crib side. Apple Bloom snored softly, but seemed uncomfortable in her sleep. Applejack pulled the blanket up on her. Apple Bloom snuggled into the blanket, getting more comfortable. Applejack smiled at her baby sister. She wiped away many remaining tears on her face. "I'll always be here for ya little sis" Applejack said quietly. She slowly crawled into bed, and rolled onto her side. She knew she wouldn't be able to sleep, but was happy her little sister could. //-------------------------------------------------------// Meeting True Love //-------------------------------------------------------// Meeting True Love "Applejack! Wake up!" Apple Bloom cried, bouncing on her sisters bed. "Give me five more minutes" Applejack groaned. "Come on Applejack were gonna be late" Apple Bloom begged impatiently. "Ugh! Alright I'm coming" Applejack answered tiredly. Apple Bloom squealed with glee, and rushed out of the room. Applejack chuckled and hopped out of bed, heading towards the bathroom. She passed Big Mac along the way "Howdy Big Mac" Applejack smiled. "Eeyup" he responded. Applejack walked to the bathroom, and undid the red rubber bands in her mane and tail. She brushed them both gently then put the rubber bands back in. She walked down the steps to greet Granny Smith. "Morning granny" she said. "Good morning Applejack" Granny replied with a smile. "Where you headed?" "To town. Got Apple pie's to sell, member?" she asked. Granny put a hoof under her chin and thought for a moment. She finally shook her head. Applejack sighed. Granny Smith had ways of forgetting such things. Apple Bloom rushed up to her sister, laughing excitedly. "Can I really help this time?" Apple Bloom asked, eyes wide. "Of course ya can" Applejack replied. Apple Bloom was about to jump in the air but stopped. She calmly nodded her head in agreement. "We best be going, don't want to keep any pony waiting" she said. Her and Apple Bloom said good bye to Big Mac and Granny, then headed out the door to town. Applejack slowly pulled the Apple Pie cart behind her. Apple Bloom eagerly followed beside her. "So do ya think we'll sell all our pie's?" Apple Bloom asked. Applejack said nothing. She looked deep in thought and sad. Then Apple Blooms heart sank, when she realized what two days ago had been. Two days ago had been the anniversary of their parents death. They had both tragically fallen to the bottom of a huge trench. The bridge had collapsed underneath them. Applejack had made it across in time, but her parents hadn't. She stood screaming and watching her parents fall to the bottom. She never saw them reach the bottom but she knew. She had stood there sobbing till Granny Smith had found her. Police stated the bridge had been weak, and that it was not Applejack's fault. She never believed that. Apple Bloom looked at Applejack for a moment. "I'll bet we'll sell all our pie's" Apple Bloom said, shattering the silence. Applejack looked up and smiled. "I'm sure we will Sis." The dynamic duo stopped in the center of town and looked around. "Well, lets set up the stand" Applejack said. "I'm with ya on that one" Apple Bloom said cheerfully. "Well if it isn't Applejack" said a voice from behind them.            The two spun to see who was talking to them. A stallion stood before them. Apple Bloom didn't know who he was, but it looked like Applejack did.
