Apotheosis
I was once a god, a capsuleer, a highly trained being of the highest caliber. And now... cast down to the ground to walk amongst mortals.
I am a capsuleer.
That may mean nothing to you now, but trust me, it will. It means everything in the world to me.
Because capusleer = immortal. Because I can never truly die. Because every time my pod is breached, the scanner transmits my dying brain to a clone, and I wake up safe and sound, if a bit annoyed.
But there is a reason as to why we are denied access into stations. A reason why we cannot land on planets. A reason why from the first moment we get our implants, we cannot lay eyes upon a flesh-and-blood being ever again. Because our pods are life. And without my pod, I am as mortal as I once was.
Without my pod, I have nothing to defend against the dark void that is death.
