Cupcakes 2: Pinkie's Assistant

CHAPTER 3 - SUSPENSE
one day i woke up early and snuck out to applejacks barn, her and big mac were waitting for me.
"Hey there suagr cube, we got the ingredients you need for the cake, now you make this good 'n' special for pinkie alright?" applejack whispered
"you can count on me, ive been planning this for months" i replied with a smile
i continued "Big Mac did you get the golden delicious apples from apploosa?"
"Eyyup" he replied and gave me the package
with this done i snuck to twilights house and got a special cookbook from her
"are you sure its okay if i borrow this to make pinkie a special treat?" i asked again
"of course! think of it as a thanks for all the nice favours youve done for me over the years" Twilight responded.
I thanked Twi again and went on my way
i had been planning this for months, you see pinkie was having a sleepover with rairty and fluttershy, so i could bake a treat for pinkie with my new baking skills and impress er with my knowlage.
but as a entered sugarcube corner i noticed that the door was unlocked.
funny, i must have left it unlocked, but i dont remember doing so....
i shook the thought and went to baking, i was preparing black forest cake for pinkie but with a twist, i was using cotton candy instead of cocolate, alang with other tweaks. knowing pinkie she would love this baked treat.
as i finished icing the cake with lollipop flavoured icing i trealized something i overooked
"shit! i dont have anywhere to hide the cake!"
i said out loud, i thought hard for a minuite then it hit me
"the basement!"
the basement of sugarcbe corner would be great, its cool and dark so the cake would be kept cold and hidden until it was time to reveal it.
to my suprise i found the door was locked, funny, even though i had never been allowed going in there i figured once wouldent hurt, so i grabbed a wire and picked the lock with alot of effort.
i noticed the stiars down were dark, but i could see a left turn with light eminating ahead.
So i kept going.
