Missing in Action
“We have to withdraw!” Boss said with obvious pain in his voice.
“We can’t leave Sev like this, though,” Fixer retorted.
“We have our orders, Fixer, now get in the gunship,” Boss finally said after a long silence.
Scorch was unusually quiet, not making witty remarks or jokes. He, as well as the rest of his squad, were all heart broken, and devastated over the loss of their sniper and clone brother.
As the tears trickled down Scorch’s face, the gunship’s blast doors had slammed shut and the ship had taken off to rise above the tree line looking out over the lovely world of Kashyyyk.
It was a moving moment for not only Scorch, but for the whole squad as well. A moment interrupted by the crackling of a hologram sparking to life, as the blast doors slid open once more.
“Delta squad-Delta squad- come in- Delta squad- do you read me?” the advisor over the hologram.
Scorch was barely listening to the advisor, lost in his own thought about his fallen brother. The loss had hit him harder than the rest of the squad, he was the closest to Sev, and they had been pod brothers and had spent the most time together. But now he was gone. Yet he still didn’t feel like he had permanently lost him. Scorch had heard of how close brothers could feel a connection to Sev still, like he was still alive.
“Helmets on, and get ready to tumble squad,” Boss commanded.
Scorch had only a few moments to process his orders and respond before the blast doors of the gunship had once again slammed shut and the craft began a quick decent.

“Aw krif, my head,” Sev said with a grown as he sat up, hitting his head once again upon the thing hanging over him. “What the-“ was all Sev managed to work out as he noticed the massive flak gun hanging over him.
Scrambling out of the shadow of possible fatal and humiliating death looming over him, he tried to recall how he had landed himself in such a predicament in the first place, after all it wasn’t like him to be snuck up upon, except for that one time but then again he refused to think about that.
“Think about the positive Sev,” he said to no one in particular. Then he thought back to how he had ended up in this unpleasant situation. He remembered how they had shot down the separatist cruiser. After that he had been assaulted by a swarm of Geonocians, how they had gotten on Kashyyyk he might never know, but one apparently had a death wish and brought a Wookie rocket launcher to the party and blew up the platform. Then he ended up some were, no longer hospitable.
Sev’s mind then switched to survival mode and realized he would need armaments to fend of hostiles, A.K.A anything that moves. Sev rummaged through the rubble looking for his blaster and it’s added on equipment. First he found the normal blaster, followed by the sniper attachment.
“This might come in handy later on,” Sev once again talking to himself (maybe he hit his head one to many times in the fall). Finally he found the grenade launcher and the pistol. All armed up he was ready to go.
All of a sudden he realized he was not alone in the crash site. Something stirred in the shadows of a dark house nearby. Sev then took the opportunity to check his current surroundings. He took notice he was in the more domestic part of the forest now. Not quite at the surface, possibly a few miles up, yet still closer to the ground than his previous position at the landing pad. He scanned the edges of his possible line of site before switching to night vision. Once that was done he tensed severely. He had landed in the domestic part yes, but had also landed right on top of a dozen super battle droid dispensers. And they were waking up.
“Osik,” was all Sev was able to work out as the closest one sparked to life. He had five, no ten seconds tops before they all were ripping him to shreds in blaster fire. He checked his essentials, anti-amour projectiles: check, grenades/emps: unaccounted for.
“Hold on, what?” said Sev just as the first wave of super battle droids were deployed. It was either fight or flight. Sev the undefeated, Sev the strong, Sev the hunter, did what any full grown man would do in a situation as such. He ran screaming like a girl at a boy band concert.

A long way off, and covered in sweat Sev stopped to take a breath. He had run away like a small, weak willed child, from what? A few clankers? Had he gone soft? Sev thought as he stood upright once more.
The whole situation was odd. Why were all those dispensers set up in that position? Why not use them to prevent Delta squad from reaching the guns? It was all strange, but he had no time to think about that now. He had to make it to some Republic outpost or troops to inform them that he was alive and well, or at least mostly.
“Come on you lout, were gonna be late ‘cause of you,” as gruff reptilian voice croaked out from the shadows. Immediately Sev got into cover behind a well-placed container.
“Aw shut up, Cragger, we ‘aint ‘gonna be late so stop your fussing and walk,” another reptilian voice responded. At that moment two hulking, scaly lizards lumbered out of the shadows.
“Trandosians, lizard scum. Didn’t you learn your lesson from your last beating?” Sev said to himself quietly, sure not to let them hear him and giving away his location and element of surprise.
“Those Republic dogs won’t know what hit ‘em,” mused the one supposedly named Cragger. Cragger was well built as far as Trandosians go (which isn’t very far mind you) and was most likely a marauder, by the look of his mask and arments.
“You said it! We will give ‘em a good what for, stealing our best bounty,” replied the other with a smile. This Trando was not as, lest say pleasant, to look at. By the way he walked and his outfit it was obvious he was just a common slaver.
The two continued walking.
“Hold on a sssecond,” Cragger.
Aw osik,trondos have a keen sense of smell. Though Sev as he prepared for combat.
“Heh h eh, yea ‘scuse meh,” the ugly one snickered.
“You stupid fuck, move before I tan your hide!” Cragger lashed out harshly.
Oh thank the maker… that was a bit too close. Sev said to himself as the two walked away. I wonder where they think they’re going, I guess I’ll just have to find out.

Sev had been following the unsuspecting Trandos for about a half an hour now and Sev was beginning to suspect they were just simple patrol troops.
“Ok you ready, Cragger?” the short ugly one asked.
“Just keep your mouth shut ‘an walk you condom failure,” Cragger hissed menacingly.
“All right, all right, jeez you really have a long stick up your ass tonight,” was what the poor unsuspecting lizard was able to say before being shoved against the wall in a, what looked like, a uncomfortable manner.
“So help me if I didn’t swear on mothers death bed that I would take care of you, you would be dead, Francis,” was what came out of the scowl that Sev assumed was his face.
“I told you never to speak my name! EVER,” said (snicker) Francis.
Francis? Really? Ouch that kid must have had a tough child hood. Sev thought as he imagined the little reptile getting bullied by other children. Then those thoughts were replaced by that same child mowing down his tormenters with a Trandosian bolt rifle
Sev physically shivered at such a thought. Little known fact, Sev has a soft spot for kids. (Remember that, there will be a quiz later!).
“Let’s just go, ok?” Cragger said as he pushed past (I can’t help it!) Francis, down into a dark hallway.
Oh and where do you think you two are going? Sev thought as he slid in right as the door was shutting behind them.

The hallway was dark and damp, not particularly surprising due to the Trandotians being reptiles needing the moisture.
Sev followed the two (not that bright) brothers down the twisting hall for what seemed to be an eternity. So this is what it’s like to be trapped forever in darkness, a forever feeling the nonending pull of darkness on everything you see smell and feel.
“What an odd thought,” Sev muttered to himself, making sure not to be audible to his unsuspecting prey.
“Sssso after this you ‘wanna hit one of them Wookie cantinasss? I hear their drinks pack quite a punch,” Francis (tehehe) suggested to Cragger. The response was, to Sev, surprisingly nice (if you hadn’t noticed Cragger is a douche).
“You know that aint such a bad idea, drinks on you though,” Cragger said smirking.
“WHAT!?! WHY?!” Francis (Oh man I can’t stop laughing! Sorry to all you Francises out there, your name just got put on the chopping block. My condolences.) screeched.
“Well it WAS your brilliant idea, wasn’t it?” Cragger, still smirking, smoothly responded.
“But you know I don’t have any credits! I lent you all of them last rotation,” Francis (I swear I will stop… later) replied with a deflated tone.
“Fine, drinks on me then, for all the credits I owe you,” Aww maybe he isn’t such an ass. Sev thought, “But that makes you owe me you slime,” And fuzzy feelings gone.
“Well looks like this is it, Cragger,” Francis (I did say later, right?) notified Cragger.
Sev abruptly stopped “Phew, good thing he said that and let anybody in the vicinity know to stop, wait what?”
Two large metallic doors slid slowly open revealing a pitch black room that had an oily smell, as far as Sev was concerned due to the fact that his helmet filtered most of the air that entered it.
Abruptly circular lights on the floor switched on in pairs sececionally down into a straight line. The two brothers entered the dark room and proceeded down the path, all the way to the end and pivoted and stood still as statues. On some unheard order the two drew their arms and pointed them at the door they had entered by.
“You may come out now, Commando,” an unknown voice spoke.
Sev’s blood ran cold. He had taken every precaution, but now the hunter had become the hunted.
“Oh please do hurry up,” the disembodied voice manically replied “We haven’t got all day,”
Sev was frozen in place. How, how had they known? He was a master tracker. It was his reason for being, his place in the team, the team who had left him. Suddenly Sev’s grip of everything he stood for was shaken. The true meaning and feeling of abandonment sank in. Why keep fighting for the cause that had no interest if it lost one clone or thousands. His brothers had left him without even looking
“Oh for the love of- will you just hurry up!? Super battle droids! Escort our honored ‘guest’ in,”
Sev turned only to be greeted by the sight of two metal nightmares looming over him. On instinct he pulled his DC-17 blaster rifle and cocked a droid popper and put his sights on the mechanical aggressors.
“Now, I wouldn’t do that if I were you”, the voice chided as the lights in the room came on, revealing a horrid sight. The room was much bigger than one would have thought. It was not just a room though, it was a whole cavern filled to the brim with battle droids.
“Please come in my friend,” the voice cooed. Somehow Sev seemed to be calmed by this voice but then snapped to attention as his eyes were greeted with a sight he only thought he would only talk about. What Sev saw was something most clones only dream about, something of their daily talks and the subject of most posters in the barracks. What Sev saw in that very moment was a woman.

“Hello there my handsome commando,” the woman said running her slender finger across Sev’s chin and used her fingers to walk down his chest and as her fingers waltzed down to his private sector (wink wink) Sev tensed up conserdiably.
“Oh my brave soldier holding back his desires I see, how noble,” the woman spoke softly with a trace of seductiveness in her voice, which in turn only made Sev more tense.
“Aw how cute, if you weren’t the enemy I would have to take you home to have some ‘fun” she said smiling a wicked smile lifting Sev’s helmet slightly giving him a peck on the lips.
“What do you want!?” Sev forcefully inquired, forcing his rapidly growing blush to put the brakes on and start backing up.
“Oh really? Well straight to the point aren’t we? And I wasn’t even done distributing the pleasantries,” the woman pouted.
“Just tell me what’s going on here,” Sev insisted. Noticing the massive amount of machinery and the entrance inside guarded by the two brothers “What is all this?”
“Really,” the woman deadpanned “What do I look like to you, a run of the mill super villain?” the woman said earning silence from Sev and unbeknownst to her a puzzled look.
“A what?” Sev asked quizzically.
“Oh forgot, you people don’t know what that is,” the woman replied “Any way you think I will just start monologing like that?” the woman asked. All she got was a simple nod from Sev
“Oh boy, any way fine you want to know so bad fine. I guess I should start at the beginning,” and so she started off on explaining everything (literally EVERYTHING) Sev only caught bits and pieces, banishment, other world, defeat, Chrysalis, and that was about it. Sev was far too busy taking advantage of this monolog to observe his surroundings.
Ok let’s see. Tibanna gas, highly explosive, large machinery good for cover. How about armaments, All gun types have full mags, including the launcher, need those to take out the two super battle droids. Droid count about thirty enough to pound through my shields in a moment. How many droid poppers do I have? Sev reading his helmet display found he had four droid poppers left including five thermal mines.
“And Once my machine is working I will be able to invade any world any universe and I will exact my revenge!” the woman, Sev assuming whose name was Chrysalis (why else would she mention it) finally finished.
Wait able to enter any system in any universe!? With a droid army at her back the CIS would overrun Coruscant!
“Ha like you will be able to attack Coruscant, Separatist scum,” Sev said through gritted teeth.
“Wait what, I’m no separatist,” Chrysalis inquired “Were you not paying attention to my monolog?”
“Not really because I was planning so I can pull this off!” Sev shouted with an air of confidence in his tone.
“Hold on wha-“
Sev seizing his chance commanded his back pack to release two droid poppers which in turn tossed to each super battle droid who looked at it for a second before a controlled EMP blast shut off their systems
“Battle droids attack!” Chrysalis screamed.
“I don’t think so,” Sev replied coldly as he drew his DC-17 blaster rifle and fired three rounds into some Tibanna gas canisters causing a large explosion that ripped through several battle droids and a piece of the machine causing warning light to go off and sirens to Blair
“You fool!” Chrysalis screamed, “you two,” she pointed at both Cragger and Francis( I swear I will stop *snicker*) “start up the machine and set in the pre discussed destination, understand?”
“Sir Yes Sir!” the two scurried off to the control panel and began punching in a code to access the interface.
“Yep, might not want to stand there,” Sev grinned as he mowed down wave after wave of droids. Sev’s plan was to use his five mines to blow the machine into oblivion right after steeping through and going to whatever republic target she had picked out, go to an outpost and tell everyone he was still alive. But right now Sev had to make some scrap out of some droids.
“Eat blaster bolts tin heads!” Sev shouted clearly having fun.
“Come on, hurry up and punch those coordinates in now!” Chrysalis shouted impatiently.
“We are going as fast as we can mistress, please just a few more seconds,” Cragger pleaded, trying as hard as he could to make things go faster.
“You better after all I have done for you, saving you from execution like that,” Chrysalis replied with impatience in her voice.
“We are clear to go Ma’am!” Cragger shouted
“Well then thanks for the lift guys, and oh I hope your fire proof,” Sev said as he ran past the three for the portal door.
“No!” Chrysalis screamed as she saw the clone run to the portal. “We must follow him!” she said as she noticed the bizarre beeping in the room.
“Bomb!” Cragger shouted
“Both of you run to the portal, NOW!” as all three ran to the portal.
“Ha fat chance,” Sev thought as he took his blaster and started shooting at the trio.
“I don’t think so,” Chrysalis said through gritted teeth as a sickly green aura enveloped her hand and caught the blaster fire and threw it back in Sev’s direction giving him seconds to dodge.
“As much fun this has been, I really must be going,” Sev said haughtily as he started to step through the portal.
“No!” Chrysalis monotone as she pushed him down with the green aura that had caught his blaster fire.
I don’t think so. As Sev got up the first explosion went off and as he ran through the portal, his world was enveloped in white

Hey sorry this took so long to get out there. Had a rough time writing it with finals and all, but here it is the first chapter to the new saga! (still need prereaders so PM me if you are interested!)
