The story of a pegesus who has grown up in Everfree forest not knowing his past but tends to help the mane six from the shadows without them the wiser till he is eventually found out. This is their story. (stays close to main MLP:FIM plot)

Living in the Everfree forest Nightmare Darkness was taught compassion and how to speak from Zecora. Taking up the mantle of an unknown guardian protecting ponies from entering the forest for their own safety. Doing this for year he remained undetected. This all changed after the Princess Luna had been saved. Things are beginning to change, dark forces begin to stir and he gets caught up in it all.
