The Bat Pegasi were banished after the fight of coup started by Nightmare Moon they followed her into battle against their day brethren but they lost and Luna was banished to the moon. Celestia then banished the bat pegasus's. Ashamed and defeated the bat pegasi began their lives separate from the other pony races. We follow the story, beginning when Luna had returned and then a few years later when she takes to the academy to become a Vanguard of the Moon.
