Cupcakes: Misery of Pinkamena Diane Pie
Canterlot’s Institution for the Criminally Insane
Just the name sounds convoluted and foreboding enough to put a tinge of fear into the bravest souls. However, most of the minds here were already too long gone to know the difference between scary and happy. The entire, dimly lit building was home to several hundred of Equestria’s mentally unstable stallion’s and mares that had committed several terrifying crimes.
The facility was composed of mainly two types of inmates. Your slightly damaged pony, the one that would just do terrible things just for the sake of doing them. No real personal gain is obtained from his acts, he just does it because why in Tartarus not? Murder? Arson? Rape? Sure, he has a minute.
And then there were the REAL crazies. Ponies who were both physically and mentally destroyed; most of them acted more like animals than actual ponies, barking and snarling like mad dogs, constantly crouching low to the ground. There was often saliva dripping from their mouth filled with damaged teeth. These were the ponies that were simply too dangerous to society to be let out into the world.
However, this little slice of Tartarus has a new resident.
Two of Celestia’s royal guards trotted alongside the shackled pony while two more trotted in the front. These two were unicorns who had their magic ready to open fire upon the new prisoner should she try anything funny.
Funny…
But they shouldn’t waste their energy. She had no intentions of trying to escape. It’s not because she thought she would be caught in an instant should she try to do so, no.
She truly believed she deserved to be here.
The guards had made it to a big, metal door with a large sign above it which read in big, bold letters, “Solitary Confinement”. One of the unicorn guards trotted to it and knocked. A small window on the door slid open, revealing a pair of emerald green eyes staring back.
“You got her?” a voice, presumably the same owner of the eyes asked from the other side. The guard moved out of the way to reveal the asylum’s newest inmate. She was a bright pink Earth Pony with large, cerulean blue but utterly sad eyes, and a big, poofy pink mane.
Pinkamena Diane “Pinkie” Pie.
Or if you wanted to refer to her more infamous name.
“The Baker”
The window slid shut and several sounds of locks being unlocked could be heard from the other side. The door slowly creaked open, revealing a brown, unicorn stallion wearing a green, hospital uniform. The stallion gestured for the guards to come in, which they did, still surrounding Pinkie on all sides.
“So, this is the famous Baker? Never figured the Element of Laughter would’ve done something like that.” The stallion said.
“Don’t let her overly happy, shit-eating grin fool you doctor. That’s how she lures you in. She tricks you into being her friend one second, and then the next you’re shackled to a table, limbs broken, organs harvested, and completely skinned. She’s a sadistic monster.” One of the guards said.
“Sounds like my ex-wife.” Another one said, trying to provide a bit of comic relief from the grim circumstances. The other guards chuckled at their associate’s joke, while the doctor took a good examination of Pinkie.
“Hmmm. Vital signs appear to be normal. Patient looks like she has suffered a few minor lacerations in the past few hours…” The stallion looked at Pinkie’s face. She didn’t look sick, evil, or monstrous. She didn’t look like the kind of pony that would’ve done something so horrible.
She just looked...broken.
Sad…Like she had regretted ever being born.
The doctor took his eyes off Pinkie’s almost immediately and shook his head.
‘Worry about that later. Can’t afford to get attached to somepony like this yet.’ he thought to himself.
The group approached one of the prison cells. The doctor used his magic to levitate a pair of keys into the keyhole and unlocked it. The door was open, and one of the guards pushed Pinkie in.
“Get in there bitch!” he yelled as he shoved Pinkie forward, causing her to stumble in, the door almost immediately shutting behind her. Pinkie looked back at the guards, continuing her miserable stare, a few tears starting to form in her eyes. She still said nothing, but the look on her face said everything.
The stallions gave a disgusted huff and stomped back down the hallway to the exit to the Solitary Confinement wing.
“Shameful. If it were my decision I would’ve just fried her.” Pinkie could hear one of them say.
The unicorn doctor looked back at Pinkie, still noticing that broken expression.
‘…She looks so upset…Is she actually showing remorse?’ The stallion asked himself.
“Hey…don’t feel like talking?” he asked.
Pinkie answered with a quick head-shake and nothing more, looking to the ground now.
“…Well, anyway Ms. Pie, my name is Doctor Heart. I’m here to give you the help you need. We’ll be doing patient interviews tomorrow, alright?” he asked in a comforting tone. Pinkie still said nothing but continued to look at the floor.
“…Alright…I’ll be seeing you tomorrow then…” Doctor Heart said before turning around and disappearing from Pinkie’s line of sight.
Save from the many other unfortunate souls in Solitary Confinement that were reaching through their bars, begging for release from their cells, Pinkie was by herself now for the most part.
She trotted over to the single bed in the corner of the room, which was heavily stained and reeked of urine. Nevertheless, it was where Pinkie was intended to sleep from now on, so she crawled inside anyway and curled up into a small, pink ball of fur.
The memories of her past crimes had come rushing back to her now. The constant stream of torment she was put under as she watched her “Other” viciously slaughtered dozens of innocent ponies just for the taste alone. She remembered the screaming which pounded away at her subconscious, pleading, BEGGING for her to stop this madness.
As stated earlier, this institution has two kinds of crazies. The casuals and the extremes.
Pinkie was neither.
Normally, Pinkie was an overly happy, energetic, and sugar-loving mare who loved to see her friends smile, almost as much as smiling herself.
But there was something…no. SOMEPONY else inside of the mind of Pinkie. Somepony so incredibly twisted and evil that Pinkie had cursed the existence of this monster from the day she was born.
Her name was Pinkamena.
And she likes cupcakes.
Pinkie grabbed onto the nearby pillow and started stifle a few sniffles.
“W-why? Why couldn’t I keep her under control? If only I had kept her in, Dashie would still-“ Pinkie stopped midsentence when she remembered that fateful day. Throughout Pinkamena’s cupcake baking sessions, Pinkie had been forced to watch EVERY SINGLE HARVESTING from the inside of her mind as Pinkamena, who was currently controlling her body, did the dirty deed.
But one of those horrible days stood out to Pinkie above all the rest.
The day “Dashie’s number came up.”
That one harvesting has plagued her dreams for weeks, giving Pinkie terrible nightmares from the day Pinkamena brutally murdered one of her best friends…
Pinkamena smiled at her handiwork that she had completed in the past few hours. She had finally finished sewing on the newest addition to her dress. A cyan hide with a rainbow-colored lightning bolt Cutie-Mark. She lifted the dress up in front of her smiling, blood-stained face and nodded in approval.
“Oh, I love it! Thank you so much for the new mark Dashie!” Pinkamena said in a happy and up-beat tone. She looked to the wingless shape of Rainbow Dash staring blankly back at her with cold, lifeless eyes. The hide was still intact and she appeared to be over-stuffed, hence the slight bloating in her legs and chest, and her mouth had been sewn shut.
Pinkamena frowned and shook her head.
“Now Dashie, it’s rude for you not to answer your best buddy in the whole wide world when she’s talking to you. Let me guess, still mad about the whole, “Turning you into cupcakes” thing? I thought you would have gotten over that by now. No need to give me the silent treatment.” Pinkamena said without a single hint of regret in her voice.
Pinkamena took notice once again of Dash’s eyes. The way they stared at her, silently judging her, as if to say “I’m really disappointed in you.”
Suddenly Pinkamena’s head started to hurt. BADLY. Like the kind of pain you would get after eating too much ice cream in one bite.
Only about a million times worse.
Of course, this always happens whenever Pinkie starts to talk from her head.
‘She’s dead! You murdered my best friend! What can you possibly have to be so happy about?!’ Pinkie yelled from inside her head.
“Oh be quiet cry-baby Pinkie Pie. It wasn’t that bad. Her screaming was a little louder than I like, but we got to spend her last moments with her, and that’s all that matters.” Pinkamena scolded.
‘How can you be so casual about this?! What kind of monster finds happiness from doing this to innocent ponies?!’
Pinkamena rolled her eyes.
“You’re just like Rainbow, you know that? Always whining and moaning like a little foal. Honestly, I’m a little embarrassed that I have to share a body with YOU.” Pinkamena said.
‘Look at what you’ve done! You’ve turned me into this…this…BEAST that children hide from in the dark! You’ve taken so many of my friends away, and now Dashie too! I HATE YOU!’ Pinkie screamed.
Pinkamena giggled and pulled the stuffed Rainbow close to her.
“Don’t be silly Pinkie. Dashie’s right here, see? She hasn’t gone anywhere.” Pinkamena laughed.
That was more than just a recurring nightmare Pinkie had. It was reality. That “argument”, if you could call it that, happened only a few short hours after Rainbow Dash’s harvesting, and Pinkie has been in paralyzing agony ever since, completely racked with guilt.
She clung tighter onto the pillow, trying to imagine it as Rainbow’s comforting embrace, telling her everything would be okay. Everything would turn out all right like it always has.
“I-I’m so sorry Dashie….I’m so so sorry I couldn’t stop her. I tried! I really really tried to stop her!” Pinkie wailed. Her crying was interrupted by the sound of what appeared to be giggling.
In her own voice.
‘Oh, don’t cry Pinkie. You still have ME remember?’ Pinkamena said from inside her mind.
Pinkie’s teeth clenched in complete anger as her hate began to take over.
“Go away! Leave me alone you monster!” Pinkie yelled.
Pinkamena sounded like she did a quick ‘Tsk Tsk’
‘And here I thought you’d be happy to hear from yourself again after all this time. I thought we were friends.’ Pinkamena said.
“I got rid of you for a reason! You killed my friend! You’re the reason I’m all alone now! You’re the reason my friends all hate me! And it’s because of you THAT DASHIE’S DEAD!” Pinkie screamed.
‘Look, you may not want to hear this, but you can’t get rid of me. EVER. Get up and go look in that mirror over there. Pretty pleeeease?!’ Pinkamena asked.
Pinkie was slightly hesitant but did as she was told. She got up from her tainted and foul-smelling bed and trotted over to the mirror above the sink on the opposite side of the room. Looking directly into it, she let out a loud gasp.
There, staring back at her, were the insane and sinister eyes of Pinkamena. She was wearing that same, horrifying monstrosity of a dress that she always wore while she worked, but with a few even more horrifying changes. She appeared to be wearing a tiara made from unicorn horns in addition to the necklace. Also on her chest was the same piece of golden armor that Pinkie recognized as Princess Celestia’s. Also sewn onto the back of her dress were a few more wings as well as the ones from before, again belonging to Celestia’s and another pair belonging to Luna. Also around her neck appeared to be a scarf made from the manes of past ponies.
Pinkie knew for a fact that that terrible abomination of clothing had been taken as evidence, so she really couldn’t understand why she was seeing her “Other” wearing it.
‘Hehehehehe. See Pinkie? I’ll always be your friend. I might be just tucked up inside your head right now, but don’t worry. I’ll be out soon enough.’ Pinkamena giggled.
Pinkie immediately punched the reflection in the face, only shattering the mirror in doing so. Shards of glass dug into her hoof and blood started to ooze out of it, and slowly dripping to the floor.
‘Now Pinkie, you should know that breaking a mirror gives you bad luck. I thought you knew better.’ Pinkamena chuckled.
Pinkie laid out onto the cold, hard floor of her cell, tightly holding her bleeding hoof.
“No. No. Nononononono. You won’t get out. I won’t let you!” Pinkie screamed back.
‘Oh c’mon Pinkie. You know how this work’s don’t you? All I really have to do is just break your will to fight me. It’s kind of like baking see? Leave a cupcake in the oven for too long…go ahead, say it.' Pinkamena said.
“…It burns.” Pinkie whispered.

And there it is. The first chapter of my fan-made Cupcakes sequel.
Obviously in this version, Pinkie has a split personality. Her usual, happy and friend- loving self (though that part of her is now pretty much destroyed by the guilt), and Pinkamena...if you've read Cupcakes then you know what that means.
Oh, and that dress Pinkie saw in her reflection was a figment of her imagination, of what she thought would happen if she hadn't gotten rid of Pinkamena. More on that next chapter...that is, if you guys want another one.
Cupcakes: Misery of Pinkamena Diane Pie
Pinkamena sat on her haunches in the darkness of Sugarcube Corner’s basement, staring at the still-unconscious body of Rainbow Dash, who she had just managed to get to her lair and shackle her to the wooden rack. She patiently awaited for her prey to regain consciousness so the party could begin. She could hardly contain the excitement she was feeling as she waited.
“Ooooh I can’t wait! I finally get to have Rainbow down here to help me bake! It’s going to be soooo fun!” Pinkamena giggled.
She then trotted to the other side of the room where she began to look over all the necessary tools she would need for the upcoming harvesting, which were all on a small cart.
“Okay let’s see now. Scalpels? Check. Hack saw? Check. Butcher knife? Check. Pinkie out of the pict-“ Pinkamena then felt a sharp pain growing in her skull, which caused her to immediately fall to her knees, her hooves grabbing hold of the sides of her head, trying to work through the pain.
“…Not Check.” Pinkamena grumbled in slight annoyance.
‘No! You can’t do this to Dashie! She has done NOTHING to you!’ Pinkie screamed.
Pinkamena tried to ignore the growing pain in her forehead and to get her other half to be quiet.
“Pinkie, now is not a good time for this. I was just about to start.” Pinkamena said.
‘I can’t let you do this anymore Pinkamena! It was horrible enough that you would do this to everypony else but RAINBOW TOO?!’ Pinkie yelled.
“That’s just the way the cupcake crumbles Pinkie. A pony’s number comes up, then they “Donate” themselves to help make cupcakes. Dashie’s number just happened to come up, and well, I don’t make the rules.” Pinkamena retorted.
‘BULLSHIT! WHO ELSE WOULD MAKE THESE SICK RULES?!?!’ Pinkie was practically in hysterics now, taking out any rage she had on the situation on the bane of her existence.
“…Touché Pinkie Pie, but you should really watch that language of yours. It’s so unbecoming of a party pony to use such words. I’d probably cut your tongue out like I did to Gilda if we didn’t share a body.” Pinkamena replied, shakily getting to her hooves.
Pinkamena’s ears perked up as she heard Rainbow start to groan as she started to regain consciousness.
‘Oh no…’ Pinkie whimpered after her shared eyes with Pinkamena laid eyes on the shuffling Rainbow Dash, who was only held in place by the leather straps on her limbs and chest.
The un-ending smile on Pinkamena’s face grew wider at the sight.
“Hold that thought; Dashie’s waking up! It’s almost time to start!” Pinkamena cheered as she pulled a cloth over the cart of tools and started to skip over in Rainbow’s direction, before being stopped by another blinding headache, which made her eyes start to twitch.
‘NO! DON’T HURT HER! PLEASE! SHE’S MY BEST FRIEND!’ Pinkie had been reduced to begging at this point, desperately trying to save her friend from dying at Pinkamena’s hoof.
Pinkamena sighed in mild annoyance.
“Sorry Pinkie, but you’re starting to be a bad little filly, and I can’t have you ruining this one. It is just FAR too special an occasion. So nothing personal, but I’m going to have to shut you up.” Pinkamena said. She held her hooves to the sides of her head and began to concentrate really hard.
Pinkie could feel Pinkamena starting to seal her away. Doing so would force Pinkie to helplessly watch as Pinkamena would slowly kill her friend, and none of her pleading would even be heard.
‘STOP! PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME WATCH ONE OF THESE WRETCHED HARVESTINGS AGAIN! JUST LEAVE DASHIE ALONE!’ Pinkie begged, starting to lose her grip on her voice.
Pinkamena didn’t pay her any heed. She continued to seal Pinkie away in the depths of her mind. She wasn’t going to let something as trivial as Pinkie’s tears interfere with her baking session with Rainbow Dash.
And finally after a few moments, and a few more screams from Pinkie…
She was silenced.
“Ahhhh sweet relief. That’ll keep her out of my hair while I have my time with Dashie.” Pinkamena giggled. She then noticed the now-slightly awake Rainbow Dash starting to shift her eyes around in the darkness.
“Wha-“ Rainbow Dash mumbled, obviously very confused about her current situation.
Pinkamena then decided to make her presence known and popped up right into Rainbow’s field of vision, making her noticeably flinch.
“Goodie, you’re awake! Now we can get started!” Pinkamena said happily, before heading back to the other side of the room and pushing her tool cart into view.
“Pinkie, what’s going on? I can’t move!” Dash exclaimed.
Pinkamena rolled her eyes and shook her head at Dash’s obvious statement.
“Well duh, that’s because you’re tied down. That’s why you can’t move. I didn’t think you needed to be told that.” Pinkamena said.
“But why? What’s happening? I thought you said I was going to help make cupcakes.” Dash said.
Pinkamena’s sinister grin grew even wider. She always loved this part where her “helpers” were questioning her motives like this.
It made them so adorable.
“You are helping. You see, I ran out of the special ingredient and I need you to get more.” Pinkamena said in a menacing tone.
Rainbow looked like she was starting to sweat, and her chest began to rise and fall with every quick breath she took.
“S-Special ingredient? W-What special ingredient?” Dash asked, slightly afraid to hear the answer.
Pinkamena mentally facehoofed.
‘She really hasn’t put two and two together yet? Guess Pegasi really are featherbrains. Oh well, time for the dramatic payoff.’ Pinkamena thought to herself.
“You, silly!” Pinkamena giggled.
Pinkie had sat back on the bed in her cell, quietly licking the blood off of her injured hoof and pulling broken glass out of it with her teeth while she collected her thoughts.
Pinkie had been forced to sit idly by and watch Pinkamena’s many killings, but that one was without a single shadow of a doubt in her mind, the worst. That look on Rainbow Dash’s face, she would never forget. A look of absolute terror upon realizing her fate, and even starting to fall into a pit of denial for a moment.
Before Pinkamena went to work on her.
Now, thanks to HER, Pinkie was damned to a life of miserable loneliness, longing only to keep herself from hurting anypony else if Pinkamena were to take control again.
And so she just stared at the dull greyness of a wall that stood across from her, her face completely empty of expression; though if one were to look deeply into the eyes of this poor, tortured soul, one would see a very regretful and alone mare that only wanted to have friends again.
But they’d also see something else.
The demented, dilated pupils of a psychopath. Wanting only to taste the blood of her victims on her tongue.
Pinkie was snapped out of her trance by the sound of a guard banging on the metal barred doors of her cell.
“Pie! Get up! You got patient interviews now!” he said. Pinkie looked behind the guard and saw there were three more waiting to escort her.
Without a hint of hesitation, Pinkie got off of her tainted bed and trotted to the door. The guard used his magic to levitate a pair of keys to the lock, turned it, and opened it up. One of the other guards used their unicorn magic to shackle a pair of hoof-cuffs onto Pinkie’s forehooves and urged her forward and into the hallway.
Just like before, two unicorns watched her front path and charged their magic, ready to fire as they walked.
The former party pony was roughly pushed forward by one of the guards, who clearly showed no empathy for her current state.
She didn’t really blame him.
As they made their way out of solitary confinement to the interview room, Pinkie could hear one of the guards telling one of the other ones about her previous crimes.
“-And there were intestines hanging from the ceiling, this sick dress made from ponies’ body parts, and a few heads. Belonging to FOALS.” He said.
His associate, who Pinkie noticed looked like he was going to throw up, looked at Pinkie with a look of disgust mixed with nausea.
“You sick fuck. Scum like you deserve to be burned at the stake.” He growled.
His words tore a hole into Pinkie’s soul. She knew she wasn’t really the one who did all those things, but she still felt terrible. Like she could have done something to keep Pinkamena from ending these innocent ponies’ lives.
And she hated herself for not being able to stop it.
The group had made it to a large set of double doors, this one didn’t appear to lock. The guards used their magic to open it and pushed through.
In sharp contrast to the rest of the facility, this room was a bright white instead of a dark grey. It was windowless, just like everywhere else, and was almost completely empty except for a single table in the middle of the room with two chairs, and a few fluorescent lights flickering in the ceiling.
At the table sat the same unicorn stallion from the previous day, Doctor Heart. He had on the table what appeared to be a tape recorder, and a clipboard and quill levitating in his magical grasp.
“Ah yes, Ms. Pie. Come here and have a seat. We have much to discuss.” Doctor Heart said with some pretty unnatural cheerfulness considering the circumstances.
“You want us to stand watch here?” one of the guards asked.
Doctor Heart shook his head.
“No no. That won’t be necessary. Though the warden has ordered that the cuffs stay on whenever we do these interviews.” He said.
The guards nodded and headed back out the door, but not before one of them shot Pinkie a death glare, which sent a shiver down the pink pony’s spine.
“Look, I’m sorry about their behavior. They may think they’re in the right to threaten you while they’re on the job, but never mind them. I on the other hoof am here to help you.” Doctor Heart insisted.
Pinkie trotted to the table and sat in the chair.
“But listen, I’m going to need you to speak up. I can’t help you if you don’t talk to me.” He said.
Pinkie really didn’t want to talk, but was a little grateful for some interaction with another pony that wasn’t going to insult or threaten her, or prey to Celestia for her death.
So she complied.
“…Hello Doctor.” She mumbled.
Doctor Heart nodded in satisfaction and turned on the tape recorder on the table.
“Taped patient interview number 4136. Patient’s name is Pinkamena Diane “Pinkie” Pie; under the alias of “The Baker”.” Doctor Heart said almost robotically. Pinkie figured he must have done a ton of these things before.
“So Ms. Pie, how have things been?” he asked.
Pinkie almost wanted to punch this stallion in the face for asking something as stupid and obvious as that.
“…I’ve had better days.” She mumbled.
“Oh? Would you mind telling me what ails you?” He asked.
“I’m responsible for the deaths of dozens of ponies and you question why I feel so bad?”
“Oh yes…Listen about those. You don’t quite strike me as the type of pony that would do all those things. You don’t look nearly…happy enough to add that much…flair to your home. Are you just now starting to feel bad about all of it?” Doctor Heart asked.
Pinkie shook her head.
“No Doctor…I’ve always felt the pain. And with every murder it only got worse.” Pinkie said sadly.
Doctor Heart didn’t seem to understand, displayed by the confused look on his face.
“Always? Then tell me. Exactly WHY did you continue your acts if it made you feel so terrible?”
“…Because I wasn’t the one that committed the murders.”
Doctor Heart looked even more confused than before.
“Pardon?”
“Well, not in the way you would think. I DID kill those ponies, but at the same time, I didn’t. SHE did.” Pinkie said, putting emphasis on the word “she”.
“And, who exactly is SHE?” Doctor Heart asked.
Pinkie seemed even more hesitant to speak than ever.
“…Pinkamena.” She said in a grim tone.
“Pinkamena? But isn’t that yourself?”
“NO! I am NOTHING like HER!” Pinkie yelled, jumping out of her seat and slamming her front fore-hooves on the table.
Doctor Heart didn’t appear to be fazed after seeing quite a few hostile reactions out of inmates before, and simply raised his hoof.
“Ms. Pie. Please just try to relax. I’ll try and make as much sense as I can out of your situation, but I am going to need your full cooperation to do so. Now can you please sit down?” Doctor Heart asked nicely.
Pinkie was completely shocked. Nopony had been this understanding since she had been found out. Every one of her friends had hated her for what she’d done. Heck, not even her own sisters tolerated her anymore.
Pinkie slowly sat back down in her seat and started to shed a few tears.
“I-I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have yelled like that. It’s just…I HATE her.” Pinkie managed to stutter in between her sobs.
Doctor wanted badly to just pat the mare on the back to comfort her, but regulation forbid him from touching patients in any way. That was reserved strictly for medical doctors, not psychologists.
“Just let it all out Pinkie…I know it may hurt right now, but I need you to tell me as much as you can.” He said in a comforting tone.
Pinkie wiped her muzzle with a cuffed hoof and sniffled.
“A-Alright. I-I’ll try…You see, what you’re looking at right now is only PART of me. I used to be a really happy and friendly pony. I had everything a pony could want. Great friends and family. A nice home. I had it all…but then Pinkamena took all that from me.” She said.
“Go on”
“Pinkamena is everything I hate about myself. Everything I was, she was NOT. Only one thing REALLY matters to Pinkamena. The slaughter of innocents for her own tasting pleasure…S-she h-hurt a lot of ponies. She stuck me into the back of my mind while she did it all, so my begging for her to cease her actions always fell on deaf ears…I-I had to watch EVERYTHING. I-I just wanted it to stop.” She said, a few more tears starting to roll down her cheeks.
“So, this “Pinkamena”…you say she took over your body whenever she did these things? And you had no control over your own body? Well tell me, what was the final straw for you? Why has she not taken over since the last murder?” Doctor Heart asked.
Again, Pinkie seemed reluctant to answer. She knew Doctor Heart had his best intentions, but the pain was growing at a rapid rate.
“A-After…Dashie was killed, another pony’s number came up. A pony I absolutely could NOT let Pinkamena get to. I wasn’t going to take it anymore after I saw who she was going to kill next.” Pinkie said, starting to stare at the floor, letting her poofy mane drop over her face.
“…This pony. Who was it?” he asked.
Pinkie visibly cringed as more salty tears fell from her eyes.
“…Pumpkin.”
