The sun blazed down on her all day, and she was glad to finally be protected by the cool shade of the barn's roof. She slowly closed her eyes, ignoring the loud and quick hoofsteps that thundered down the stairs.   "Applejack, wake up, sis! It's gonna be cooler tomorrow!" the pony announced, who was Applebloom.   Applejack's eyes shot open. She frowned slightly, looking up at the red-maned filly that was smiling. "It'll be cooler tomorrow? That's it?"   "Eeyup," Big Mac said as he also trotted down the stairs, but rather slowly.   "That's good, ah guess," Applejack said, heaving herself up. No more crazy heat, great! she was actually secretly yelling in her mind in excitement.   Applebloom rushed out of the barn, seeming to forget that the sun was basically baking the entire farm right now. Applejack and Big Mac could hear a faint, "Come on, Big Mac!" shortly afterwards.   Big Mac slowly looked at Applejack, then said playfully, "Foals these days." He followed Applebloom out of the barn, leaving Applejack alone again in the barn.   After a few moments of standing in silence, Applejack sighed. "Better bring these."   She picked up her saddlebags once more and carried them up to her small room, tired. Every few steps she took caused her to let out a great sigh of weakness. When she finally reached her room, she dropped the saddlebags again, falling back onto her bed. Spreading her hooves out comfortable, she muttered to herself, "At least it'll be easier ta' work tomorrow."
