In the days leading up to Twilight's royal coronation, disturbing reports began to flood in from the furthest corners of Equestria. The changlings have returned, but two vital things have changed since they were expelled from Canterlot.

First, they no longer seek love, only death.

Second, they have begun to take the forms of things outside Equestria, otherworldly things. Where they used to only copy the forms of other, now the changlings have evolved to take the essence of others, and not just their forms, abilities, and talents, but their memories as well.

Did I forget to mention that they're all trying to kill each other? That detail is pretty important and incredibly awesome.

So begins the crossover to end all crossovers.
