Chapter 1: What the Buck?
It’s was another beautiful day in Equestria. Winter Wrap Up had just ended a few weeks prior and spring was in full swing. Birds could be heard chirping their happy little songs as Fluttershy tended to the woodland creatures. Rainbow Dash drifted lazily overhead, napping on a cloud above, enjoying her day off from the weather patrol. In the distance dust kicked up down the road as Pinkie Pie ran up to Fluttershy with a sense of urgency, stopping under Dash's cloud.

“Hey Fluttershy! Twilight sent me to tell everypony that she needs us at the library! It's super duper important. A.J. and Rarity are already on their way! Have you seen Rainbow Dash?!”

The rainbow maned pegasus's ears perked up upon hearing her name, but stayed put until she could determine if what Pinkie Pie had to say was worth disturbing her relaxation.

Fluttershy meekly looked to the floor and mumbled
“Well…um…”

"It's really really important that I find her. Twilight said we all need to be there."

"I...uh..." Fluttershy looked to the sky.

"Oooo! Is the flying around?!"
Pinkie darted her head up hoping to see Dashie practicing some new tricks and stunts but was disappointed to see nothing but blue skies and white clouds.
"Nope. I guess I'll have to go find her."

“Sheesh! I’m right here Pinkie! What’s so important?!” Rainbow called down without even so much as leaning over the side of her cloud.

All of a sudden, Pinkie Pie’s head pops up, startling Rainbow Dash as Pinkie seemingly appears out of nowhere right by her feet.
“Oh there you are, Dashie!” Pinkie giggled for a second.
“Twilight didn’t say why, she just said it was important. And not just regular important, really really important. Come on we gotta go! I got a cake waiting for us there.”

Rainbow Dash, still struggling to comprehend how Pinkie Pie got up there with her, began to ask,
“Uh, Pinkie, when did you learn how to fly?”

Pinkie giggled again.
“Oh I can’t fly, Dashie. You know that, silly."

"Then how did you..." Dash began, but was cut off by Pinie Pie.

"I’m on stilts!”

Rainbow looked over the side of the cloud to see four long stilts coming up to where Pinkie was standing.
“Where did those even…?! I mean, how did you…?! Oh never mind... I don't want to know.”, Rainbow said as she shook her head, simply accepting the absurdity of it all.

“Um…maybe we should start going…I mean, if that's ok with everyone else.” Fluttershy mildly cut in as she looked to the ground to avoiding eye contact.

“You’re right! Let’s see what’s going on.” Rainbow Dash said as she sprung up and flew off towards Twilight’s library.

At the library, Twilight paced back and forth waiting for the last of her friends to arrive. Rainbow had just flown in minutes ago, but Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy were still catching up. Twilight looked out the door to see them in the distance galloping as fast as they could.
“Finally! They’re here.”, she said with a sigh of relief.

Pinkie and Fluttershy ran in and joined their friends. Fluttershy was panting and out of breath, unable to match Pinkie's boundless energy.

“So now that everypony’s here, are you gonna tell us what’s going on or what?” Rainbow Dash shouted impatiently.
“What was so important that we all had to hurry over here?”

“I have some very important news girls.” Twilight explained.
“Princess Celestia has requested our presence in Canterlot.”

“Did she say what for?” Applejack interrupted curiously

“Well…I’m not sure exactly, but if it’s from the Princess, it must be important... Thought the letter Spike gave me seemed a bit odd to me, her usual assistant must be on vacation or something.”

The girls looked at the note. The hoofwriting was atrocious. It looked like it had been written by a filly in magic kindergarten who had just learned how to use her horn to write. Most of it was hard to decipher, but what they they could make out said something about needing the six of them there as soon as possible. The oddest thing about the letter was at the bottom, where the Princess’ signature would normally be. In its place, there were only some doodles and a strange smiley face, mouth wide open and rolling its eyes.

“You sure this is from the Princess, Twilight?” Applejack asked, looking at the note with confusion, wondering how something so poorly written could have come from Celestia.

“I’m sure.” Twilight confirmed in an urgent tone.
“I had Spike take a letter and send it directly to the Princess to confirm that this was, indeed, from her and her response suggested that the situation was of the utmost importance.”

She pulled out another letter to show the girls. It was extremely short and simply read,
“Who else would be sending you letters through a dragon? Y U NO HERE YET!?”

Meanwhile in Canterlot, there was some commotion in the castle. The large doors to the Royal Throne Room were barred shut, as something pounded from the outside determinedly tying to get in.

"Again! I want this door taken down yesterday!" A stallion on the other side could be heard yelling as the wooden board locking the door flexed with every slam, cracking as the the barrage of blows continued. At last the door burst open, flying off the hinges and as the dust cleared, Princess Luna stood at the threshold, backed by a dozen royal guards. Her horn still glowing from the magic she used to gain entrance.

“Where is she?!” Luna demanded loudly at the Alicorn sitting atop the royal throne.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Sis.” Celestia’s voice called out.

“No! Thou art not our sister. Thou art an impostor, and we shall see you pay for your crimes. Now where is she?” Luna commanded stomping her hoof on the ground.

The guards rushed in and surround the imposter as she sat, smiling and chuckling to herself. She looked very similar to Celestia, but with one major defining difference: her coat, normally a brilliant white, was a light pink.

“What gave me away?” She playfully asked.

“Aside from the fact that our Princess is an entirely different color than you,” a rather buff officer of the royal guard started to answer, "Her Majesty would have never committed the atrocities you have brought upon the citizens of Canterlot. And now, imposter, you are under arrest for the disappearance of Princess Celestia, impersonating a member of the Royal family, and conspiracy to take the throne!”

“Oh, I see.” The pink Celestia lookalike grinned down, obviously not taking any of them seriously. “Well, you caught me. I'm not your princess. But before you do...whatever it is you plan to do, I have a quick question for all of you.”

“And what would that be?” The royal officer said as he signaled to the other guards to close in. He stepped one foot forward in preparation, in case she tried to flee.

The pink Alicorn’s horn began to glow as her grin grew into a playful malevolent smile.
“Do you like Bananas?”
