How the hay did you turn into THAT?" "Well," Shadow Leaf responded, "it was actually about 1000 years ago. I was a member of the royal guard. I was Luna's most loyal subject, she made sure I knew that. I would've given my life for her. But when she became corrupt, she went to ME. She asked me to help her form a rebellion against Celestia. I couldn't do it, there was no way I would harm the princess. When I refused, I found myself trapped inside of... THAT... in the forest." Scootaloo was still in shock over what had happened. When she and Rainbow Dash heard the story, all they could think of was revenge. A small grin appeared on Rainbow's face. "Hey," she said, turning to Scootaloo, "come here." Scootaloo followed her into a different room, away from Shadow Leaf. "What is it?" asked the filly. "It's obvious, isn't it?" Rainbow Dash said, as her grin grew wider. "I'm mad, you're mad. We need revenge." "Rainbow Dash," said Scootaloo, "that's a terrible thing to say! It wasn't his fault! Take it out on Luna!" "You can't murder a goddess," said Rainbow Dash, as she left the room. Scootaloo felt her jaw drop. Was her sister really going to go through with that? "Hey," Rainbow said to Shadow Leaf, "how about you come back tomorrow. We need some time alone." "Sure," said the stallion. He left the house and shut the door behind him. "Okay," said Rainbow Dash, "now we just need the materials. Come on, Scoots." "No, Rainbow, I won't do it!" "Trust me, sis, you'll love it when you see what happens." "I-" "No," said Rainbow Dash, "I need revenge. Since its your fault my friends went in there in the first place, I'd say you should listen, or you too could end up like him." Scootaloo seemed to be on board all of a sudden as she nodded her head. The two ponies left the house and began the search for their materials. ***** Rainbow Dash heard a knock on her front door. Knowing it was Shadow Leaf, she grabbed a syringe out of her bedroom. Hiding it in her mane, she yelled downstairs. "Just a minute!" She flew down her stairs and opened the door. "Shadow Leaf," she said, "how are you?" "Good," he said, "I suppose you aren't doing well though." "Oh," said Rainbow Dash, "I'll be fine soon!" "I beg your pardon?" "Oh, come on in, I'll show you!" "Okay..." Shadow Leaf followed Rainbow Dash into the living room. "You can sit if you want," said Rainbow. Shadow Leaf thanked her and sat down on the couch. Rainbow Dash sat down beside him. "So," she asked, "what have you done since you've become a pony again?" "Oh," Shadow Leaf said, putting a hoof under his chin, "I've done a lot. Mainly, I've just gotten used to living in Cloudsdale, it's been a while since I was up here. What have you done since I last saw you?" "Well," said Rainbow Dash, smiling, "I plotted my revenge." "Wha-" Shadow Leaf was cut off when she stabbed the syringe into his neck. He stopped moving and went limp, his eyes closing afterwards. "Time to have some fun", Rainbow Dash said to herself. She then yelled up the stairs. "Hey sis, get the stuff we bought!" An even bigger smile grew on her face as she pictured what she was about to do in her head. ***** Shadow Leaf was breathing heavily. He wasn't sure what exactly had happened, but he had been drugged by Rainbow Dash, that was for sure. His neck had a small pain in it where he had been stabbed. He was bound to a tree by very thick rope. His arms and legs were spread apart, and his wings folded around the back of the tree. He couldn't move, just squirm. The only thing he could move freely was his head. He looked around, trying to get an idea of where he was. He was in a forest. It was extremely foggy, and there were so many noises. Was it possibly the Everfree Forest? He looked up at the clouds. They were moving on their own. It was definitely the Everfree Forest. He struggled to get out, squirming in place with as much strength as he could, but it was no use. He began screaming for help, hoping he wasn't too far into the forest, and that maybe somepony would hear his pleas for help. "No one can hear you, ya know." "Wh-who said that?" asked Shadow Leaf, sweating and now breathing quickly. "What do you want from me?" "Why would I want anything from you? Anything I wanted was already taken away from me. And YOU were the one who took it. So now, I get my revenge." Rainbow Dash stepped out of the fog so he could see her, smiling. She was carrying a metal box. "Sis," she said, "bring the other stuff." Scootaloo also emerged from the fog, carrying a different metal box and a container with some sort of liquid in it. "What are you going to do to me?" asked Shadow Leaf, fighting back tears, "I didn't mean to hurt your friends?" "Well," said Rainbow Dash, "it's all fun and games... until someone gets HURT!" She smacked him across the face, and hard. He cried out in pain as his cheek turned red. Scootaloo was horrified at first, but the moment she saw the first strike land on Shadow Leaf's face, she had completely changed her mind. Rainbow Dash was right, this WAS exciting. Rainbow Dash and her sister put down the metal boxes. Scootaloo was the first one to open the box. She removed a small, red bow tie from the box and held it up to Shadow Leaf. "Do you recognize this?" she asked, her face furious with anger as she held up her friends bow. "That's... the yellow filly's..." Sahdow Leaf said, hot tears rolling down his face as he spoke. "The one with the accent..." "She has a name, you jerk! Her name was Apple Bloom, and you killed her!" Scootaloo took the bow and untied it. She then tied a knot with it to Shadow Leaf's hoof and tugged as hard as she could. Shadow Leaf screamed in agony as he heard his leg pop out of place. Scootaloo left the knot tied around his hoof as she walked away. She spotted Rainbow Dash's smile out of the corner of her eye, and she too smiled. She reached again into her box and found a severed unicorn horn. "I found this on the edge of the forest," she said, holding it up to Shadow Leaf's face. "Can you guess where it came from?" "The... the white one..." "Her name is Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo screamed, jamming the unicorn horn into his left eye. He screamed once again as blood and vitreous fluid gushed out of his eyeball and down his face. Because he was screaming, the mixture of liquids dripped into his mouth. Scootaloo slammed the stallion's jaw shut. "Drink it!" she yelled at him. He didn't swallow. "DRINK IT, YOU BASTARD!" she screamed, kicking him in the ribs, still holding his jaw shut. He gulped, and shortly afterwards, vomited in his mouth. She opened his mouth, letting the acidic fluid spill all over his stomach. He was bawling and screaming, and to Scootaloo, it was pathetic. She approached the metal box and removed the last item: the claw from a bear. "This isn't going to hurt nearly as much as your claws did," she said, as she pressed them against his lower right leg, "but it will still be pretty painful." She penetrated the skin with the sharp claws, watching the blood flow down his leg and then drip from his hoof to the ground. There was now three large gashes in his leg. He was still screaming in pain, tears mixed with blood and vitreous fluids running down the sides of his face, the unicorn horn still jammed in his eye socket. Scootaloo wasn't done yet. She lifted the container of liquid and removed the cap. "Ever wondered what it would feel like to have five gallons of alcohol poured over an open wound?" "No," Shadow Leaf cried, "please! I don't deser- AGH!" He began screaming louder than before as Scootaloo began slowly pouring it into the wound. She went as slowly as possible, making the pain last for a very long time. She laughed as she heard Shadow Leaf scream. Finally, the container was emptied, and she walked away. "You deserved more than this," she said. "I left you off easy. Don't mess with the Cutie Mark Crusaders." Shadow Leaf gasped for air, relieved that the filly was done torturing him. But then, a hoof slammed down on his ribs, and he heard a loud CRACK! Rainbow Dash laughed at his screams. "You seriously though I wasn't going to do anything?" She clicked open her metal box. The first thing she pulled out of it was a bunch of letters. "Twilight had been sending letters to Celestia for years," Rainbow Dash said, holding them up, "and then she quit. These are all of the letters they have sent each other. ALL of them." Without warning, Rainbow Dash began shoving the papers down Shadow Leaf's throat, one at a time. Shadow Leaf was choking, but she kept shoving them down. When he couldn't take any more, she stopped, and let him cough a few of the letters he couldn't swallow back up. She didn't give him time to catch his breath. Instead, she ripped the papers into small pieces and made him consume those. The paper was rough and began cutting Shadow Leaf's throat. He tried screaming for her to stop, but all he could manage was a muffled grunt. Finally, Rainbow Dash stopped. Shadow Leaf coughed up small bits of paper. "Now," said Rainbow Dash, "for the revenge of Fluttershy. What do I have for you..." she looked in the box. "Found it!" She removed a whip from the box. "Fluttershy never needed to use it to tame her animals," said Rainbow Dash, smiling, "but she had it just in case. I can find a use for it, though." CRACK! The whip tore through the skin on Shadow Leaf's stomach, making him scream. The vomit which was still on his belly splattered all over him. She started whipping him repeatedly, his skin becoming torn and bloody everywhere. She then began whipping his neck until a large gash appeared. He wasn't screaming anymore, he was just whimpering. "Not painful enough?" Rainbow asked. She put the whip down and went into the box. "Fine, then. I have one last thing for you. For the trouble you've put us through." Rainbow Dash held up a saw in her mouth. Shadow Leaf screamed as Rainbow sawed into his back leg, very slowly. When she removed it, she simply tossed it aside. She then shoved her hoof into Shadow Leaf's mouth to clean off the blood it had accumulated, and then she proceeded to chop off his other hind leg. Shadow Leaf's vision was fading fast; he was losing too much blood. Rainbow Dash didn't care. She just went a little quicker. When all four limbs were removed, and the pony was just about to die, she poured alcohol on his entire body and lit a match. He screamed, burned and bled for a few seconds, and then he passed away. Satisfied, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo left the body there, tied to the tree, burning. "See?" said Rainbow Dash, "I told you you'd like it." //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue "So, Soarin," Rainbow Dash asked as Soarin led her into his office, "why am I being exempt from weather duty today?" Soarin locked the door and looked at her. "Soarin?" He asked, "I'm not Soarin!" Shadowleaf removed the costume and grinned. "Oh no..."
