//-------------------------------------------------------// The Son of Time -by TheNeptunianBrony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue I kept walking towards the town center, passing dead Daleks and ponies as I went. I had to get to the center of town, that was where he died. That was where the Doctor made his last stand. Ponyville: twenty-five years ago "Keep running Derpy!" a light brown stallion with a darker brown mane shouted to the grey mare running in front of him. "I think we lost them," he said as he looked behind himself. Suddenly the mare he was following stopped running and stood still. "Derpy, whats wrong?" he worriedly asked the mare. "Look," was all she said. As the stallion looked around he saw they had run straight into the center of town, and straight into a Dalek trap. They had been surrounded by Daleks, with no way out. One Dalek moved forward. "You are the Doctor?" he asked the stallion. "Yes. I am the Doctor," he told the Dalek that had moved forward. He knew there was no way out of this for him. He had finally been caught by his most hated enemies. He would not be able to get out of this. he had one simple tought, I won't make it out of this. But Derpy might. He looked back at the Dalek and said, "I will not fight you if you let this mare go," he pointed to the mare he had come with. The Dalek looked at the mare for a few seconds, considering the offer the Doctor had given them. After about a minute the Dalek simply said, "Deal." The stallion walked over to the mare saying, "Derpy, go with out me." He then looked down at a roll of cloth the mare had been carrying and moved it open a bit as he looked at the face of a sleeping foal, just under a year old, then he looked at the silver stop watch beside the foal. "Derpy, this watch will generate a psychic field that is strong enough that the Daleks won't notice you two, but it is only temporary. When he is old enough, give the stop watch to him. Tell him that it will only open at one moment in his life, and at that moment, he will have to make a choice that could save all of Equestria, and the universe. Now go Derpy, get some where safe," as he stopped talking he walked back to the center of the town square and looked back at the Dalek who was commanding the rest who were surrounding them. The mare flew away, but looked back at the last moment. She saw the Doctor get shot by the commanding Dalek, then begin to regenerate, only to be shot again. Then he collapsed, and stopped moving. The Doctor was dead. "Where is the pony that was with the Doctor?" said the Dalek leader, "Find them!" Ponyville: Present time I stood at the exact spot he died. The exact spot my father died. I looked behind me to see my two step-sisters, Dinky and Sparkler watching me, I then looked to the silver stop watch my mother had given me. She told me it would only open at one major choice in my life. That time had come, and I had opened it. I was going to go back twenty-six years ago and stop this war from ever happening. I looked to the sonic screwdriver in a special holster on my right side. I was ready. I was half pony, half Time Lord. I was the Doctor's son. I would stop this war. Author's Note A story that I have been debating whether to write down or not. Starlight stories was the second opinion on my choice, and a great supporter for the story, and I'm glad I could return the favor by proofreading her newest story "Jazz in Manehatten" which is going well. I look forward to seeing the feed back from the readers. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Getting Supplies //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Getting Supplies I stood in the royal throne room at Canterlot Castle waiting for the ponies to finish readying my father's old TARDIS when Princess Luna came over to me. "Are you nervous about your coming trip to the past?" she asked. She had gotten better at not using the royal Canterlot voice as much, and at using terms that ponies today used. "A little," was all I said. In truth, I was very nervous. I was going back to before my father was killed, and before the war. I had seen pictures from before the war, but always wanted to go back and see it for myself. "Your lying, I can tell," she said while smiling. "Wouldn't you be if you were going back in time, and possibly meeting you father who died before you were even one year old?" I asked her, already knowing the answer she would give. "I guess I would be, but I won't have to go back in time to meet my father, I have met him," she said, oblivious to what she had just said. "Oh, sorry," she apologized after she realized how that sounded. "Its Okay, I've gotten over ponies saying that," was my only response. She just stood there, before looking out the window, "It's late you should get some rest, Time Lords have to sleep too. I think," she said as she looked questioningly at me. I gave a small chuckle, "I'm only half Time Lord, and I guess your right, I could use some sleep, goodnight Princess Luna." "Goodnight, uh, whats your name again?" she said, again looking questioningly at me. "I don't use my name," I told her. My mother said that my father had said his real name to end something called the "Time War" and burnt his home planet. I knew that was only because of a Time Lord weapon, but I still did not to use my name. "Well then, what should we call you?" she asked. "I'll let you come up with something," I said as I trotted to my royal suite. The princesses were kind enough to let me, my mother, and my two step sisters live at the castle. As I walked through the halls I looked through the windows, out at Equestria and the war zone. From there I could see Cloudsdale, and the flashes of many Daleks shooting at ponies. The battle there was being let by somepony called Rainbow dash, and, as I've heard, she was one of the bearers to the Elements of Harmony, what ever those were. A few minutes later I reached the royal suite, which was more of a large apartment or small house, that my family had been given. It was just big enough for us, which surprised me, why would they just happen to have a suite with four bedroom, each with its own bathroom, a kitchen, and dining room? As I opened the door and walked into the dining room I saw Dinky and Sparkler eating, then they saw me. "How long till they ready the TARDIS?" Dinky asked me. She was only about ten years older than me, while Sparkler had been about six-teen when I was born. "Should take till morning, wheres mom?" I replied. "Out talking to Princess Twilight," Sparkler said. "Oh." Princess Twilight had been our mother's friend before she became a princess, when she was just a normal unicorn. She was also a bearer of one of the Elements, but unlike the rest, I had met her. It was only for a few minutes, but she seemed nice enough. With that, I walked to my room and jumped on my bed. I was out before I even hit it. The next morning I stood on a cloud looking out over Equestria. The battle at Cloudsdale had been won during the night, although with high casualties. After a few minutes I flew back to the ground and walked into the castle, making my way to the throne room. When I opened the door I saw a banner that read "Time Lord's Going Away Party, And Dashie's Victory Party!" I looked around and saw Celestia, Luna, and Twilight talking to each other, Shining Armour, Cadence, and Queen Chrysalis. The changlings had made peace with Equestria and became their allies close to the time the Cyberponies entered the war. Before I could even walk in the room, a pink pony appeared a few feet in front of me and shouted "It's the Time Lord!" Everypony stopped what they were doing and looked at me. After about a full minute of this they started clapping and made a path straight to the TARDIS. I walked to the blue box and stood in front of it, knowing Celestia would give a speech. And I was right. Clearing her throat, she began, "Ponies, this brave stallion has agreed to end this war for us, but at the cost of his own life. He will stop the war before it began, destroying this timeline. We will remember nothing of this if he is successful, but he will fade away. He was born in this war, and if it never happens, then he will cease to exist. He might still be born, but it will be a different timeline and he will not be exactly the same," as she ended her short speech nopony cheered. Six ponies walked up to me, one being Princess Twilight, the another being the pink pony who announced my arrival. "We thank you, Time Lord," was all the Twilight said. "Before you go, allow me to introduce my friends, and the other Element bearers to you," she continued. She walked to the pink pony from before and said, "This is Pinkie pie, bearer of the Element of laughter," she started, and went down the row, Rarity, Rainbow dash, Applejack, and Fluttershy. Once she had finished they walked back into the crowed and my mother stepped forward. "Goodbye mom," was all that I said as I hugged her before she to melted back into the crowed. "Goodbye. Time Lord," Princess Luna said from her place at the front of the crowed, "And good luck." Everypony started cheering as I walked into the TARDIS and shut the door. I walked around the console and to the lever that would send me twenty-six years into the past. And pulled it. Author's Note Now taking Ideas on a name the Time Lord can use in this story. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Allies Pt. 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Allies Pt. 2 I pulled on the white T-shirt I always wore when I came to the Human's universe. I had been to Earth a few times, even fought in a few of their wars. None of them would compare to the war in my timeline. I walked down the street the TARDIS had landed at for about a block, then walked up a path towards a familiar house. As I knocked on the door I heard Amy yell, "Rory, can you get that?" "Sure," was all he said as a reply. He looked startled after he opened the door. Finally, after about ten minutes, he shook himself out of his amazement and invited me in, yelling, "Amy, the Doctor's son is here." Amy came running down the stairs, having the same reaction as Rory, but not nearly as long. After she came back to the real world all she said was, "Hi!" I was amazed at how humans could take anything as normal and move on in only five minutes. "Would you like some tea?" she asked as she began to walk into their kitchen. "Sure," I replied. I may of been half Time Lord and half pony, and have an American accent instead of an English one, like my father, but I still enjoyed some tea from time to time. That was when I heard another person coming down the stairs. I couldn't believe who it was. "Hello," Rose greeted me. Rose Tyler, in this universe? How was that even possible? "Before you ask, remember I traveled in between universes before," she said, smirking. About ten minutes later, I had explained my plan to them and sat sipping my tea as they just stared at me like I was crazy. "So, are you going to come with me, or just keep siting there staring like I'm crazy?" I asked, finally tiered of the staring. A few more seconds of staring before Amy and Rory looked at each other, then nodding their heads. And Rose finally agreed. I pulled the flight lever, and the TARDIS was sent into the vortex, towards the pony universe, twenty-six years before I left, and one year before I was born. After we had all changed into ponies, I began to climb out of the pile of cloths I had been wearing. Instead of Amy, Rory, and Rose, I was now looking at three other ponies. Amy was now a light yellow coated mare with a red mane and tail. Rory was a stallion with a coat a little lighter than Amy's, and had a short brown mane and tail. Rose was a mare with a blond mane and tail, and a coat similar to Amy and Rory's, but with a small amount of red in it. "So," Amy began, "We're ponies, cool." Author's Note I know, my pacing is terrible. Other than that, what did you think about the chapter? I apologize for not having a fixed update time, but I think of these as I write them. Also, for the last chapter, Equenes is a name I came up with instead of using the normal name, Eques, for the planet Equestria is located on, and for Equenes, the last "e" is silent. I'm also thinking about putting an abbreviation for my name at the end of each authors note, what do you think? As always, I look forward to you feedback. Amy and Rory's coat are a bit lighter than Fluttershy's. Here's a description of my OC, as I have never given one: Pony version: Black mane and short tail, mane styled like Doctor Whooves, blue eyes, light gray coat. Human version: Black, short hair, pale-ish skin, usually wears a blank, white T-shirt, jeans. -T.N.B //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Arrival Derpy's house 07:30 AM 3rd person POV "So, what do you think?" Derpy asked the Doctor. "What?!" said the Doctor, springing his head up from the kitchen table, having fallen back asleep. "I said, my brother, Theo Whooves," Derpy started," is coming to Ponyville for a visit, and I was wondering is he could stay in the TARDIS with us. It has plenty of room for him," Then Derpy remembered," Well, he is bringing his marefriend, Opal Crystal, to meet me, but I'm sure the TARDIS has enough room, considering you have that entire hallway full of spare rooms for no reason," Derpy said. "Hm, yeah I really should get rid of the hallway, waste of space," the Doctor said, mostly to himself. "Alright, I guess they can stay with us in the TARDIS," the Doctor finished while he smiled to himself. "Great!" Derpy said. Just then the doorbell rang, "Can you get that?" Derpy asked, sipping a cup a coffee. "Sure," the Doctor said as he walked to the door, "Hello, Pinkie Pie," the doctor greeted the pink mare who had knocked at the door. "Hey, Time Turner, I just need to know what you wanted the cake you ordered, for Derpy's birthday next week, should look like," Pinkie replied, hoping in place. "Can you make it look like a giant muffin?" 'Time Turner' asked. "Of course!" Pinkie replied, a giant smile plastered on her face. "Great! Thanks Pinkie Pie," Time Turner said with a smile before shutting the door as the pink mare bounced away. "Who was it?" Derpy asked him as he walked back into the kitchen. "Pinkie Pie," he answered as he took his own cup of coffee and started drinking it. As he finished he said, "Renaissance, Prance, here we come!" he said excitedly as he walked to the TARDIS, which was sitting in Derpy's living room. Ponyville Town Square 07:31 AM 1st person POV The sound of the TARDIS started to quiet as it landed close to Sugar Cube Corner. "I still can't believe your taking this so well Amy," I said. To tell the truth, I was amazed that she could not freak out about suddenly having four legs instead of two. "I've traveled with your father, I think I can handle a little transformation," she retorted. She and Rose were taking this very well, while Rory on the other hand... "Where are my hands?!" he screamed. Rose and Amy just sat laughing at him as he tried to wrap his mind around not having hands. "Rory, your hooves will work just fine as replacements for you hands," I said as I picked up my sonic screwdriver. "How is that even physically possible?" he asked, still in shock. "It just is," I replied, "Now, while we are here you will need a cover story, so come up with one fast." They sat thinking until Amy raised her hoof like she was a school filly. "Rose and Rory could be your siblings," she offered. "Works for me," I said as I shrugged my shoulders. As we exited the TARDIS I heard a gasp so loud the Prench might have heard it. "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie!" said a pink mare who had somehow appeared out of no where, "You must be new to Ponyville, which means I get to throw you a 'Welcome to Ponyville' party," she said before gasping again and galloping down the street. "Do you know her?" Rory asked, "Or, at least, her future self," he added. "Is she always like that?" Amy asked before I could answer Rory's question. "To answer both your questions, yes," I replied. "Great," they said simultaneously. After that we all began to walk towards Sweet Apple Acres, where the Daleks first appeared. Author's Note Theo Whooves and Opal Crystal are OCs by Starlight stories and are found in her story, "Jazz in Manehatten," which I am proofreading for her. Feedback is accepted, as always! -TNB //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: Accidental Landings //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: Accidental Landings Sweet Apple Acres Northwest Field Time Unknown "What is this?" Rory asked, pointing at and having just noticed there was a tattoo of a medical kit on his flank. "Your cutie mark," I said as if it was obvious to humans. "What?" he looked clueless. "It represents your special talent, you were a nurse back on earth, correct? That is what it means. Your special talent is medicine," I stated. "I've got a pirate sword," Amy said as she looked at her own mark. "Must be from that time the TARDIS landed on that pirate ship and you used one, your special talent is probably swordsmanship" I guessed. They had told me about some of their adventures with my father they had whenever I would visit earth. "And mine looks like a broken Dalek eye stalk," Rose said as she noticed hers. "Talent for killing Daleks, you did take out the Dalek Emperor, so that must be what it means," that had always been my favorite of Rose's stories, mostly because the Daleks lost so much when their emperor was destroyed. A few minutes later... "Here we are, the northwestern field of Sweet Apple Acres, looks odd without the craters," I said, having been to this field in my timeline. "Now, where are the Daleks," I was sure that they should have been here now. "Hello strangers, y'all lookin' fer something?" a voice that I had heard just before I left my timeline said. "Actually, yes. What time is it?" I wanted to be sure that we had arrived at the correct time the Daleks did. "Bout seven forty-six in the mornin', why?" She asked, her face looking suspicious of us. "No reason," we were sixteen minutes later than the Daleks. She left do go do her chores for the day and we made our way back to my TARDIS, where I took a look at the monitor for the date. "The TARDIS landed us six months before the Daleks even arrived!" I exclaimed as they entered behind me. About half an hour later "What now?" Rory asked. We had all been siting in the TARDIS console room thinking the same question. "I guess we better try to live like normal ponies so we don't draw attention to ourselves," Rose suggested. "Already on it," I had a plan just in case this happened, which I explained to them. "Alright, lets go act like normal ponies," Amy said, with a little too much enthusiasm. My plan was to purchase a house in Ponyville for Amy and Rory, as well as one for Rose, and one for me. I had gotten enough bits before I left my timeline to buy the houses, as well as having enough left over to give to them for basic needs. One hour later We walked down one of the roads that wasn't too close to the edge of town, but not right in the center. I had been lucky enough to get the three houses on the same street, seemed that there were quite a few empty homes in Ponyville. They went to their homes as I continued to walk to mine, as soon as I had bought it I had sent the TARDIS to the basement to keep somepony from noticing it. I walked through the doors and was bombarded with one word from a lot of different ponies. "Surprise!" at least twenty ponies yelled. But that wasn't what got my attention. A mare with a mint green coat and mane was what my brain stopped working on. Back in my timeline, just after the Daleks had appeared, there was a test to see if the Doctors regeneration energy could be used to change normal ponies into Timelords. A mare named Lyra Heartstrings volunteered. It didn't work, she did not become a Timelord, but it did stop her from aging. She would never physically age, and ponies suspected that she would be immortal, or close to it. After I had learned that I was a Timelord I had traveled through out the universe making a name for myself among the Daleks and Cyberponies. I returned to the day I had left, but for me it had been years. I was gone for eighty years my time, but only a few minutes there. After a while I finally met Lyra, who quickly became one of my few friends. She was really interested in humans, and asked me if I could take her to the human world sometime. I eventually said that I would take her to earth, but I never did. She died in the Battle of Manehatten, one of the biggest battles fought at that point in the war. She died just after the Daleks technically lost the battle.. The TARDIS landed this far before the Daleks arrival for some reason, and I had a feeling that Lyra was going to play some part in that reason, but what could it be? Author's Note Tell me what you think of the idea for the experiment to make "half Timelords" I'll call them. And, does anyone see the reference I made in this Chapter? It's easy to spot. Sorry it took so long, I just think these chapters up as I write them. Still needing cover art, check my one blog post for the details. Feedback excepted. -TNB //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: The Party //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: The Party Out of the corner of my eye I saw Rory, Amy, and Rose standing in the crowd, Pinkie Pie must have combined our parties after she saw all of us together in town, and guessed that we were friends. I tried to enjoy the party, while trying to not be noticed by Lyra, if we met each other then there could be some serious consequences with time, and I could not let that happen. I spent most of the party on the opposite side of the room from her as she talked with some other mare I hadn't met, or at least, I didn't remember meeting. I turned towards the front door as somepony opened it, Princess Twilight. "Hey Pinkie, sorry I'm late for one of your "Welcome to Ponyville" parties, had to re-organize the library," she said, closing the door behind her. If I remembered correctly, around this time there would have been a new library built, as the original had been destroyed by some villain known as "Tirek," whoever that had been. "Hello, Princess Twilight," I greeted my old/new friend. "Oh, you can just call me Twilight. Are you one of the new ponies Pinkie threw the party for?" she asked. "Yes, I just moved here from..." At that exact moment Pinkie called twilight over to a conversation she was having with Rose and that mare Lyra was talking to before. Wait, where was Lyra? My question was answered seconds later by a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, and there she was. "Hi, my name is Lyra Heartstrings, welcome to Ponyville," she said, hoof reached out for me to shake. "Nice to meet you, I'm..." "Lyra, over here," that mare she had been talking to earlier called her over. "Sorry, that's my best friend, Bon-Bon," she said. "It's fine," I said, eager to get her to go over there so I wouldn't have to think of an excuse to get away from her. "Have we met before?" she suddenly asked. "No, I don't think so," I said. This is what I was afraid of, my timeline was beginning to merge into the changing one, at all the wrong places in time. "Oh, sorry," she said as she walked away. I was getting interrupted at all the right times today. I had forgotten what city I would use if somepony asked me were I came from, and I had forgotten to come up with a fake name to use. I really should have thought of a fake name before coming here, I had only made one up when I bought the houses we would be using while we were here. Two hours later, after the party I laid in my new bed thinking about when Lyra asked if we had met before. This was what I was afraid of, the timelines changing because of my being here. I also couldn't think of a reason for the TARDIS to land so far from the planned time. It didn't make sense, the TARDIS had done this before, but always for a reason. What reason was there for it this time? I can't help but think it has something to do with Lyra being alive at this time, but I had gone through her records after she died, it was almost a tradition for the friends and family of somepony to go through their war records after they died, I never really understood why. According to the records, just before the Daleks arrived she had been in Manehatten, so why would she be significant in this if she wasn't even going to be there? So many questions, not enough answers. Maybe in the morning this will make sense. With that, I drifted off to sleep, reliving the Battle of Manehatten in my dream. Author's Note Sorry this chapter took so long. I really don't have a good excuse as to why it took this long. Feedback accepted. -TNB //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: The Battle of Manehattan //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: The Battle of Manehattan We moved as silently as possible through the mostly destroyed buildings. What once was the city of Manehattan was now just a collection of rubble, and the ruins of the buildings that Manehattan used to be known for. Now it was known as the place where the Daleks had landed one of their ships as a sort of base. "Okay, our mission is to take out the Dalek ship somewhere in this city," Our group leader, Shining Armour, said as he put a schematic of a common Dalek ship on a bit of rubble, "We are to enter the ship using the air vents, which open to the outside of the ship here," he continued, while pointing at the location of the vent. "Why do they need air vents that open into space?" another member of our small group asked. "It's not for air, if an intruder were to get on the ship, if no Daleks were close enough to their location, then they would sent a highly lethal gas out through the vents in the intruders location, the vents that open into space are used to get the gas out of the ship, leaving the Daleks unharmed," I say. I had studied the Dalek ships before, the gas was made to kill the intruders almost instantly. "Anyway," Shining said, "Once we are in the vents, we will have to get to the center of the ship and plant an explosive charge made by the Timelord over here," he finished. "Half Timelord," I corrected him. "Right, half Timelord," he said. "Whats stopping the Daleks from using this gas while we're in the vents?" the same pony as before asked. "They won't know we're in them, the interior of the ship has detectors that alert the Daleks to any non-Dalek life form, but they don't have any of these in the vents. They don't expect anypony to be crazy enough to try entering that way." I answered. "So, are there any more questions?" Shining said, looking around at the group. "Alright, lets go," he said when nopony raised their hoof. About half an hour later we were still moving through the destroyed city. "How can the Daleks hide a ship this well?" Shining asked, obviously getting frustrated. "Over here!" we heard somepony whisper from a room just to our right. "Lyra, what are you doing here?" I asked when we had entered the room. "I was sent as a scout," she said simply,"And, I found the Dalek ship. You know how the TARDIS has a broken cameleon circuit? Well, the Dalek's have made a cameleon circuit of their own, the ship you are looking for is the only one that has it so far, but I still found what felt like some vents in the side of it!" "How could they have gotten a cameleon circuit?" I ask, more to myself than to anypony it the room,"Anyway, where is the vent you found? We need it to get in the ship and blow it up." "Over here," she said as she went over to a window of the old room. "I still think you shouldn't have come with us," I say to Lyra as we crawl through the vents. "I'll be fine," she says. "I still can't believe we weren't caught by a single Dalek guard while we were in there," I say as we stand by the crater of what was once a Dalek ship. "Exterminate! Exterminate!" "More Daleks! Hide!" I say as we all duck for cover. I ready my modified rifle as they draw nearer. "Find the ponies that did this, they must be exterminated!" says one Dalek that appears to be the leader of their small squad. The others begin to ready their weapons, Lyra being sure to stay hidden, as she was never given a weapon. "Use this," I whisper as I pull a pistol out of it's holster on my side. I don't know who fired the first shot, Daleks or Ponies, but I do know we made short work of them, though we lost much of our group. "Ex...ter...mi...nate," one dalek says as it fires off a random shot, then died. I hear the sound of metal hiting something, then somepony falling to the ground and look behind me. "Lyra! Dangit, that Dalek was aiming at her." The Dalek had missed, but hit a pole coming from a nearby building that fell and hit Lyra right on the head, along with a few bricks. "Exterminate! Exterminate!" "More Daleks are coming, we have to get out of here," just as Shining said that, one of the approaching Daleks came around the corner and shot at the first pony it saw, which happened to be Lyra as she stood up from the ground, rubbing her head from the pole and bricks that fell on her. "Get to cover!" said one of the few remaining ponies in our group. We ran into another one of the ruined buildings as I called the TARDIS using the silver stop watch my father left me, I had configured it to call the TARDIS from anywhere in the universe, which saved me a few regenerations. The TARDIS landed and we all got inside, I pulled the dematerialization lever and getting us out of Manehattan. "How am I going to explain Lyra's death to Bon-Bon?" I asked myself. "Who is Bon-Bon?" Shining ask? "Lyra's best friend, and old roommate," I answer. "Oh, I'm sure she will understand that she was killed by Daleks," Shining says, trying to reassure me that Bon-Bon won't be mad at me, but at the Daleks. I wake up to the sun in my eyes, should have closed those blinds, I'm not a big fan of getting woken up by the sunlight. I look out the window after getting up, seeing Rose, Rory, and Amy walking over from their houses, all three smiling. Looks like I'll have to deal with the sun for the next few months until the Dalek scouts get here. For now, Rose and Amy will probably try to get me to go outside and make some friends before we stop the war from happening, and Rory will be more afraid and want to say inside so he doesn't mess up time or something. All I can do is hope Rose and Amy will agree with him, friends won't help me in any way if we succeed, and the war doesn't happen. I hope I can get them to understand that, though I already know that I more than likely won't be able to. Author's Note Sorry for the wait, you few people that do read, and like this story. But I've had a bit of writers block, couldn't decide how I wanted this chapter to go, and I know, "Where's the battle? That wasn't a battle!" But here's how it went in my alternate universe: Anything that is considered a victory over the Daleks, blowing up one ship included, is called a battle. And as long as a few Daleks were killed, then it is called a battle. As always, feedback is accepted! -TNB //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Allies Pt. 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Allies Pt. 1 As I pulled the lever, the sound of the TARDIS filled my ears. I knew that I could just turn the handbreak off, but I had always liked that sound. I had traveled in the TARDIS before, just not that far in time, and more through space. I even got some allies for the ponies, but they were too far from Equenes to help. As it turned out, a few Cyberponies had broken from the main army, having regained emotions and individual personalities, and they even appeared to be normal ponies, aside from being metal. They called their small civilization the "Free Cyber Network" and had agreed to fight with the ponies, as they were close to Dalek territory, and were attacked often. I had told the pony that was imputing the coordinates to take me back twenty-six years to instead set it for the Free Cyber Network's home world, which they had named "Cybernia" as they put the world "Cyber" into many things withing their territory. I stepped out of the TARDIS after the familiar sound stopped, and looked around. I had landed right outside the main government building of their capital cityand saw the government officials only a few feet away, staring right at the TARDIS. "Oh, it is you again," the lead Cyberpony said. "We were just talking about how you gave us the courage to enter the war with the Daleks," he said after only a few seconds. "Well then, I guess I couldn't have asked for better timing," I replied. "I have come to ask for a few soldiers for a mission I'm on. If I am successful then the war will be over, and never have happened," I finished. "I see, you plan to go back to before this war started for you, and ensure that it never does happen, don't you?" the Cyberpony replied, having already uncovered my plans. "Yes, I do," I admitted. "Then I shall give you my greatest and most highly decorated soldier to help you," he stated. One of the Cyberponies stepped forward. "I am Cyberclock," he introduced himself. "Wait, you're just going to give me command of your best soldier because I asked for any soldier?" I was shocked. "Of course, this war was been bad for us too, and we would like to see that it never happened as well," the leader replied. "Thanks," was all I could say, as I was still shocked. That had gone easier than I had expected. Having nothing else to say, I walked back into the TARDIS and imputed the coordinates for the home planet of my next group of allies. My next group of allies would consist of: Rose Tyler as well as Amy and Rory Pond. My fathers previous companions, that were on Earth. In a whole other universe. Author's Note I've had the idea of a "Free Cyber Network" in my head for a while, so I decided to put it into this story. Also, Rose, Amy and Rory will be ponified when they enter the pony universe, and will not already have pony versions of themselves there. This is not a universe were there are pony versions of humans. I decided to tell you how to pronounce some of the Cyberpony related stuff, as I ran out of ideas and started to take earth places, ect., and "Cyberfy" them. Cybernia: Cyber-n-ee-ah, is, more or less, based off the region Siberia's name. Cyberclock: Cyber-clock. Cyberlonian: Cyber-low-n-ee-ah, not really based off anything. Tell me what you think of the idea of a Free Cyber Network. Also, if you are wondering, his sonic screwdriver is the same that Matt Smith (the 11th Doctor) used, and the TARDIS interior is the one used in Series 7, in 2013 when his companion was Clara. I only used Rose and the Ponds because they were my favoite three of his companions. Feedback as well as constructive criticism is welcomed
