Rainbow Dash awoke in a cold sweat. "Another sleepless night..." She muttered. She had been like this for weeks now. She woke up every night from what she could only assume were nightmares. Every time she thought she had drifted off for good, she woke up covered in sweat with her heart beating a mile a minute. She couldn't even remember them on top of it, except for that single phrase... goodbye... Why the hay was that keeping her up all night? She was starting to get annoyed. She hadn't told any of her friends about it for fear of worrying them. She didn't want to see a doctor either... It was just nightmares, after all. They weren't even real, how is a doctor supposed to help...? She new she was being paranoid, but she didn't want her friends to think she was a coward... What was worse than feeling like a coward, though, was feeling like she had abandoned her friends... She hadn't talked to her friends in nearly a month now, and barely said a quick "Hey" when she passed by. She couldn't take the sad looks in their faces when she brushed them off, or ignored them... But she had to deal with this problem on her own. Goodbye. What did it mean? Why was it keeping here up at night? She really had no idea... She decided to go out. Get some fresh air, stretch her wings, and think it over a bit. She went to her bathroom, splashed some water on her face, went to her front door... And flew off. "..." Rainbow Dash opened her eyes. 'Where was I going...?' She was gliding over a forest. It looked like a forest. But it had little squares... And little red dots on the trees. Were they birds? No... They were too round... They were apples... 'I really want an apple...' She thought, drowsily. She started to fly down. Faster... and faster... and fas- Rainbow Dash drifted back to sleep. Applejack had been working on the farm all day. Her back was sore, her legs ached, but she loved every moment of it. She had plenty of apples to eat, plenty of shade to rest in, and, if she was honest (and she always was.), the work really wasn't that hard. It was almost fun, even. Right now, she was stretched out under one of her favorite trees. The largest and oldest tree in the field. It was about lunch time, so she stood up to  walk toward her house. Suddenly. she heard a loud thud behind her. It scared the living daylights out of her. "What was that...?" She asked herself, aloud. She turned around quickly, to see the limp form of a familiar cyan pegasus. "Rainbow Dash!" Applejack yelled. "Are ya ok? Rainbow?" She shook her, then checked her pulse. Relief flooded over her face "Thank Celestia yer still alive. Now let's get'cha to a hospital."
