Many stories surround the old house by the Everfree Forest on the edge of Ponyville. Stories speak of curses, disappearances, and bloody murders, but they're all just mare's tales as far as the general population is concerned. Although mere mention of the old unicorn that lives in the ragged and broken house still strikes fear in the hearts and minds of Ponyvillians.
A high school colt, Mic, and his friends plan to investigate the old witch's house, but after a little deliberation, they decide to bring along the awkward, shy filly, Springsong, and ditch her in the graveyard behind the old house. Their plan backfires when Mic and Springsong are caught by the lone resident of the house.
"Those who tread here with ill intent
A curse they shall hold and not forget.
This plane will no longer be their home.
They will wander hereon and be alone."
