It seemed so long ago. Too long. I couldn't forget her. Not by a long shot. I tried to change her, I really did. I'm not exactly sure what happened. She became envious, I suppose. Greedy. She didn't get what she wanted quickly as she wanted. Was it my fault she left? Was I the one who made her leave?
A tear left my eye. One tear turned to thousands. I breathed heavily into my pillows. Once I stopped for a second, the thought haunted my mind again. I soon started to tear up. I couldn't help but cry. I knew it wouldn't help my problems, or make everything better. But, yelling into my silk soft pillow seemed like my only friend I could cry on at the moment.
Boom! I heard a large crash down stairs.My head rushed up. "Mom?" I screamed. My wings flared open and I franticly flew down stairs. "Mom! Mommy! Can you hear me?" I yelled as I landed in the once elegant throne room. Dust was everywhere and I could hardly see anything. All I could see was grey dust. I started to flutter my wings. I coughed a few times after most of the dust was cleared. I slightly could make out a faint figure walking my way.
"Young Speed Paint." A laughing voice said. The voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't put my hoof on it. I was so confused. Where was my mother? Who was this evil stallion who crashed the Throne Room? Where are the guards? Help anyone?
"Who-Who are you? And where is my mother?" I yelled at the voice shakily, but I tried to sound brave. My wings were open. I was ready to take off, if I had too that is. The voice just laughed. The laugh made my bones shiver under my skin. "Who are you!?" I asked again. "Please, I just want things to be normal for once." I was paralyzed with fear and just collapsed on the floor crying. I couldn't handle it anymore. If I was going to die that moment, I might as well just brace it. I didn't care if I lived anyway.
"You don't remember your own blood? Oh, Speed Paint. That hurts your old stallion. When I say old, I mean old!" The voice giggled. I didn't under stand.
"Who are you? And what do you mean by own blood? Wheres my mother!?" I asked. I slowly lifted up my body. I was shaking like some pony thrashing me side to side. I could barley open my wings, but I managed too.
"You ask a lot of questions, did you know that? That's the one thing you got from your mother. You got all the other personality traits from me. Do you happen to love muffins?Chocolate Chip is favorite kind of muffin. Don't you think so?" The voice asked.
"What? You mean...your my? Discord! I can't believe I didn't recognize you! Wheres my mom!" I stuttered and yelled all at the same time. The Draconequus came closer to me until he was visible. He was standing on his dragon and goat legs.Then retired to all fours. Facing directly at me. I stopped crying and shaking, and stood tall.
"Discord!" My mothers voice echo through the collapsed throne room. My head shot back, and I saw my mom standing at the entrance. Her mane and tail gently flowing like always.
"She's right there." Discord said. I turned around and he had a small grin. I whipped around and ran to my mom. She gave me a nuzzle, then looked seriously back at Discord.
"What are you doing here? Your suppose to be stone." My mother told him. He smiled at her.
"Did you miss me? I missed you." He said walking over to her. He was taller than her, even on all fours.
"You always say that, and the answer will always be the same. It doesn't matter now." She said. I didn't understand.
"I'm just here to see my daughter. Can't a father do that?" He smiled grimly at me. My ears shot down and I hid behind my moms leg.
"Why? Where have you been for all the years of her life? Answer me that Discord!" She said while stomping a hoof on the ground.
" I would have been there, if you hadn't turned me to stone!" He yelled. My wings slowly folded up and a single tear started to slide down my cheek. I had no idea what was going on or what was going to happen. I just wanted it to end.
"You had a choice!" My mom angrily shot back. My single tear was now followed by hundreds. My mom must have heard me, because she looked down at me. I looked back, straight in the eyes. She sighed. "Discord, fix the throne room. Please." She said looking at him. He snapped his claws and the Throne Room was back to normal. No walls crashed down. No glass shattered. No demolished furniture. It looked like the regular Throne Room again. "Discord, we can talk later, but you better leave right now. Your scaring our daughter." My mom ordered.
"Fine." He simply answered back.
"And, don't destroy, mess up, or chaos anything!" She ordered once more. He nodded and flew through the wall. I was shocked and stunned. Confused mostly. Because, that was the first time I ever met my father.
All I could say was, "He's Back."
